24/06/2025: Waiting for a bus outside when my glasses fell apart.. a long way from home. I went into the shop and asked if anyone could help and a staff member fixed them with his own screwdrivers from his car and recommended superglue to hold them in place until I could go to the optician. So impressed and grateful. I didn’t get his name but he was exceptional. Glasses held up very well

27/08/2025: What a wonderful place to stop on the Dublin ~ Galway ~ Dublin run. Really convenient for on and off the motorway too.
An amazing toasted sandwich with a big mug of tea for just over €8 ! Staff very friendly and chatty, premises scrupulously clean. A few small tables and chairs outside, ideal for people watching on Moate's fascinating main street. Looks like it's popular with local schoolgoers too, always a good sign.
