The best restaurants

03/09/2025: Really nice and spacious cafe with great service. But the coffee...really a miss. Latte didn't taste like much.

10/02/2025: Great service, all the staff were really professional and friendly. I recommend this place. 😁 the experience was lovely and I would go again.

27/06/2025: pub is basically closed for renovations. Local shop keeper told me pub hatch opens very occassionally for take aways. So don't be surprised if you come here and its closed.

20/07/2024: Steaming Cups is a small coffee shop nestled into the entrance of the train station, perfectly positioned for grabbing a coffee and a pastry on the way to work or university (DCU St Pat’s is only a 15 min walk!). The coffee is simply delicious. The barista serves up a cappuccino with a well-proportioned dusting of chocolate, complimenting the flavour of the coffee, which isn’t entirely drowned out by milk as some places do. The lady running the shop is incredibly nice, always greeting me with a smile. It’s an awful shame they haven’t the space for customers to sit down because the atmosphere in their little corner is lovely and welcoming.

23/06/2025: We had a wonderful meal of steak and sea bass, beautifully prepared and presented. Anne shows great attention to detail, and we'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

11/10/2025: Overpriced, chips were absolutely not “cooked twice” and chicken wings extremely fatty. I also ordered two portions of chips and they only delivered one.

04/08/2025: The best coffee in Ballybay by far. Friendly, welcoming staff, good prices. Some snacks.

04/04/2025: Always get fresh rolls and make the exactly they way I like always comes here for a roll it's like a tradition 🤣👍👍👍👍
