09/08/2024: This place has gone down dramatically
Chips were dire. Hard and tasteless cheap potatoes I am guessing
If seems that the staff are precooking the food including the chips
As I asked for no salt and vinegar and I could definitely taste salt and vinegar
Fresh cod rubbery and batter burned uneditable
This takeaway is not cheap and slop is unacceptable for prices charged
I Binned the food and I won't be returning
This used to be a great place but unfortunately
using cheap potatoes and untrained staff will result in less customers
Incidentally a few yards up the road the traditional takeaway cooks from scratch
25/07/2024: Yesterday my husband bought chicken kebab tray. 2 hours later I started vomiting. thanks for the "delicious" food!

20/04/2025: Food was dyer its hard to mess up some of the things they do but it's not an isolated thing either read notes perfectly or don't read them at all bottom line is it's usually wrong and on top does not taste great won't be eating from again ever I'll take some blame as I didn't tell them exactly how they should make it to the letter, but sub par food is on them altogether

09/11/2024: Best chipper in Dublin. Been going here for a few years never had a bad experience. Food always top notch. Great chicken fillet buger and chips. Owner is very friendly

09/02/2025: Ordered a delivery and the wrong food came. Easy mistake. I rang to inform them and the women argued with me . I was meant to get a house special curry with fired rice and barbecue ribs and a can of diet coke . I recieved this box of rice pictured below and a few barbecue bites in a small tub. No drink came either . Very flustrating. Had ordered previously and was quite Impressed. Between the delivery and the tip i paid 30euro for this 😭😭 and the few rib bites . Feel totally ripped off , what a shame could of being easily sorted

01/11/2024: I ordered 10 pieces of chicken and the workers gave 6 pieces instead. Wasted a lot of money for that guys! The meal cost me 32 euros and wasted a good 5 euros on that!

03/01/2025: Curran’s is a bar that has perhaps a bit more authenticity then many of the bars in Dingle. A spot where I’d say the locals referent a fair bit.
Had a couple of pints of Guinness in the snug, had a bit of banter with the regulars….. may not be for everybody, but anytime I’m Dingle I swing by for a pint

Fairways Restaurant
30/05/2024: This restaurant used to be great but the service has gotten almost non-existent and the food portions are tiny for very high costs. My family & I ate there last night. I ordered the venison and just got 4 pieces of meat & one chunk of a potatoe and no vegetables at all. We were all still hungry after, despite spending 100s for our meal.
We had to wait for ages to get any kind of service, ie to ask for dessert menus etc. Dessert was equally tiny, weird and not particularly tasty. Staff looked like they were all on their first day of work & extremely confused.
Definitely won't be returning because it would be a waste of money, which is a shame because we used to like this place.

29/05/2024: I've had two dates here with my boyfriend here already and I definitely would go again.Amazing service, we got our food relatively quickly came out in 15-20 minutes, I have always gotten the carbonara and it was absalutley delicious and my boyfriends bbq pizza was absalutley gorgous.Relativley good pricing and all in all I highly recommend this place :)
