OD's Restaurant
05/06/2026: While staying in the Gleneagle, we dined at this restaurant: the prices are higher than the Killarney average, and the service is quite pushy and chaotic (drinks were delivered in a confusing way).
The atmosphere is supposed to be halfway between a pub and a Hard Rock Cafe, but it's out of place in its context.
The menu is quite varied.

Fairways Restaurant
30/08/2025: Ate in Hugo’s restaurant. Food was ok but not what we would have expected in a 5 star hotel. Service was appalling however. We had a birthday celebration and the birthday guest asked for both of her dishes to have small changes (sauce served on side). Multiple waiters failed to either listen or process and the dishes were served without the changes as requested. Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel and a good location, but it’s a bit too Fawlty Towers for my liking.
