09/01/2026: The food was delicious and portions were generous. We had the Roast Beef and the Duck and we'll definitely be back!! Also the chairs are really comfy 😃

24/11/2025: Stopped in for breakfast and it was absolutely excellent. The food was fresh, well-presented, and really good quality, easily one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The dining area was comfortable and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. A special shout-out to Radi, who was genuinely exceptional. Her service was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made the whole experience stand out. Highly recommend dropping in here for breakfast and say hi to Radi!

10/12/2025: Just had THE best festive toastie I've ever had.. I'm not hyping it up for no reason and usually toastie are just fine but this one. Turkey,ham, stuffing, cranberries, cheese with gravy dip on the side, along with small sprouts cooked perfectly and chips. The balance of flavours and the quality of the food was out of this world hence why I'm leaving the review. Totally deserves to be shouted about. Grey service too I might add. 👏👏

20/12/2025: Fabulous food, great sized portions. Unfortunately the service was lacking, ridiculously slow in pace. Lack of clearing tables... and the restaurant was quiet, so no excuse.

08/12/2025: Only second time here first time was a very bad experience furniture was not well maintained food wasn't bad, but it's improved since, was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the service and selection, the time we went was great, there was no noise, we booked a table, and got straight in our waitress was pleasant, gave every option and did come back asking if everything was ok, couldn't fault it, a great asset for the town,

25/10/2025: Breakfast at Cusack’s bar – 24th October We visited Cusack’s for breakfast around 11:10 a.m. on the 24th of October. To start with the positives — the lady who took our order was absolutely lovely. She was attentive, pleasant, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She truly deserves appreciation for her service. The food did take a little while to arrive, which was completely understandable given how busy the place was. The disappointment began when the food was served. My poached egg looked fine on the outside but was actually hard-boiled inside, had an awful taste of just vinegar, and the avocado was dark and clearly past its best. The overall quality just wasn’t what we’ve come to expect from Cusack’s, which has always been one of our favourite breakfast spots in Ireland. What really surprised us, though, was what happened towards the end. While we were still having a conversation and my wife still had her cutlery in hand, one of the senior staff members came over and began clearing the plate mid-conversation. She did ask if it was okay to clear, but she was already holding the plates stacked up before we could even respond. It felt a bit abrupt and left us both a little uncomfortable. To be clear, the gentleman working alongside her was perfectly polite and not involved in this. We genuinely like this place and have always enjoyed coming here, which is why this visit was disappointing. Most of the team are excellent at what they do, but it would be great if everyone could be on the same page, because small things like this can unintentionally take away from the otherwise great work of a wonderful team.

17/10/2025: Old but nice hotel. Rooms are clean. Food is very good. Breakfast is from menu and very good. Dinner is also amazing.

10/11/2025: From the moment of booking, EVERYTHING with our Haddington House experience was flawless. Ayesha and Sinead were fabulous with the pre-arrival plans. And going out of their way to make our stay really memorable. When we arrived, Flako, Elena and a lady manager (owner?) were so welcoming, professional, warm and generally - fabulous☺️ Our room was exceptional. With SO many lovely, lovely touches. The quality of the decor, fixtures and fittings is just next level. Not to even mention that view☺️ The food, and especially the breakfast, and the breakfast team, were of the absolute highest quality. Generally our stay in the Haddington House exceeded any possible expectations and delivered an exceptional experience. 10/5

21/12/2025: Who have to que for a table que to order a coffee. No one tells you what's happening and the coffee was cold. would not recommend even though there was a que.

04/12/2025: Really unsure how to say this, but the cheese they are using in the Christmas special, when melted, has the unmistakeable odour of ***. It was overwhelming. I don’t remember this smell being present in last years Christmas sandwich. I suggest that the chefs smell the creation when it’s heated.

01/12/2025: This cafe is a little gem in the heart of Rathmines. I had a beautiful salad there today, it was delicious. I regularly stop off for a coffee when I'm in Rathmines. The staff are so warm, friendly and helpful. 10/10
