05/04/2026: Don't know what the rave is about , the food is fresh but lacking the effort . The chips are pre bought frozen in the packet , it's middle of the road food to be fair . Oh and please avoid the smithwicks couldn't believe how bad the pint was I had to send it back .

19/03/2026: Lovely meal. Friendly staff. Warm welcome. Great wine. Not too pricey and would definitely recommend. Nice veggie option instead of the vegan burger fare offered elsewhere.

The hummus is fresh, creamy, and made perfectly, with warm bread that hits every time. The falafel, couscous, salads, and all the homemade dishes are packed with authentic spices and real heart. Special mention to Ali for the hospitality — welcoming vibes, top service, and food made with care. A beautiful mix of Palestinian and Moroccan culture with proper vegan food done right. Highly recommended 🔥🔥🔥

14/06/2026: Most of the staff was nice. One lady, I assume a manager was extremely dismissive of us. I guess because we weren’t tourists. The chowder is absolutely disgusting, not even bits of seafood in it, which shouldn’t at all be the case considering it’s Dingle. The Caesar salad was nice though. Wouldn’t recommend at all unless you’re an American willing to leave a big tip. Just a tourist trap with mediocre overpriced food.

02/05/2026: Down from Donegal for a midweek gig. We had been recommended Asador by a friend. My significant other is a pescetarian and loved the look of the non meat elements on the menu so we thought we'd give it a go. Firstly, we were eating early so had the place to ourselves to begin with, and how lucky we were as the staff were SO friendly. Food wise we shared 3 small plates and had a main dish each. We went Porcini orzo, Cabbage and Crab for the small plates. All incredible but the standout was the cabbage! I don't know what witchcraft they worked on it but it was as far from the vegetable of my childhood that it's possible to get. For mains we went Swordfish and Monkfish. The Swordfish was the best I've eaten and the Monkfish was shown no mercy either. We had a smoked tenderstem broccoli side which was also superb. For dessert we shared the basque cheesecake which made me wish I'd the room to eat it all myself. Then to finish we had 2 coffees which was the best coffee I've drunk in a very long time. Maybe if you read this review you can tell me what coffee you served us? We also loved the quirky prints on the wall. Thank you to all of you for making us feel so welcome. It was the perfect start to a great night. I am counting the days until I get back to try the meat! Big love!

25/04/2026: Exceptionally high standard of Barbecue. The seafood is just top drawer. Great friendly helpful service. My second time here and honestly one of my favourite restaurants.

08/06/2026: Have been here many times, but not since the new people took it over. Decided to call in. On entering nothing has changed. So got the same, usual welcoming feeling. A great atmosphere. In the past have seen people watching sports on TV, didn't notice this time, which in one way was a bit easier to talk. Big premises. Very deceiving from the road, much bigger inside. Anyway the food is beautiful still the same great choices. Staff very efficient. Parking on the road. We still haven't managed to stay here yet so will have to sometime in the future, so look forward to that. Good value. Call in you won't be disappointed.

10/06/2026: Was kinda ok on the day, took us out of a hole as we were starving. Would I return? Can't in all conscience say I would. Food was pretty mediocre! Service was so so! But as I say it took us out of a hole on the day. P.

27/10/2025: Very good food – the vegan Pad Thai with tofu was extremely tasty, not too oily but still very flavorful. Service was very friendly and quick.

28/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in Lucan/Leixlip/Celbridge/Maynooth area. The Dover sole meunière was simply outstanding. Better than fish I’ve had in Sole Dublin. Service was great too. Sound bunch!

07/06/2026: I have been here before, it’s a genuine great spot and the food is incredible. Although today I was refused service for wearing a limerick jersey. Me, my father and uncle travelled all the way from Limerick and parked up close by. I the designated driver was starving and wanted to enjoy a lovely breakfast at 10:30. Inside the Silver Key cork. When I asked a servant, if there was any available seats for food. She replied with “food is over, no more food”. But yet I saw the same servant seating a family with children wearing cork jerseys in an available booth & cleaned the table off. To be quite honest. I’m dissapointed. And the atmosphere is brilliant, and the food is amazing, but that completely put me off.
