19/10/2025: Not very impressed when seeing one of the staff members getting money from a customer (coins) having gloves on counting before taking them away to the cash register and back touching the food afterwards!

26/09/2025: Deko at the till is a 5 star in itself, do yourself a favour and order smashed patty fries with Cajun sauce, if you’re getting a burger get a pepper sauce smash. Delicious guys ❤️ repeat eater 😂

01/08/2025: Went to Ohana during Dublin Cocktail Week and had a great time. Had a passion fruit Cocktail which was amazing! 😃 🍸 🍹

31/07/2025: Very disappointing service. O’Hana’s cancelled my daughter’s hen party cocktail making class with only 2 days notice due to renovations. Over a week later and still no refund despite multiple emails and texts. Very very poor service. Avoid!

18/11/2025: Very good prices. I've been going to akira for a while now, when I want some comfort food and something that is not that expensive and fancy. The girls upstairs are amazing and give you a proper japanese experience. There are some amazing dishes like the ramen, it's not that easy to find a heavy and comfy ramen like in Akira. Usually I feel Japanese restaurants have become something superfancy that don't make you feel like home. Everything is about the rules and about expensive sushi, but Akira goes beyond that. Akira takes the typical Japanese experience and brings it to your table for a really good price. To put an example the sake is something that goes for 40€ minimum in most japanese restaurants. If I remember right, you can have bottles of Sake for less than 25 euros in Akira.And even Wine. But not only focusing on the prices .Overall Akira has made me feel like the place to go, when I'm not sure what I want and never failed for a second. Thanks to all the staff.

21/11/2025: Recently I ordered a salad, and it was incredibly disappointing. The chicken was so hard I couldn’t even bite it, and most of the box was just onions. There were only a few tomatoes and one very little of lettuce. That’s it. And they charged €6.50 for the box. There was basically nothing to eat it was really bad.

03/11/2025: My go to whenever I'm back in Dublin. Staff are always so friendly, real Dubs a heart of the community. I'm a scaldy Corkonian and introduced people in the area I stay with to go there for our cures when I visit after living around the corner. Always meet the standards of what you want with attention to detail, great value and service.

07/02/2026: When we arrived Sunday was full. Then a boy at reception said sorry you on call. I asked how approximate we need to wait and he said half an hour and we will call you to let your know. We went to Centra, ordered some food, had breakfast. 45 minutes past (we live 40 minutes away from Mullingar... Need plan our journeys), no call and then we came back to check what the situation and noticed that people after us entered playground already. I was disappointed, our child was sitting and waiting in the car.. Then eating outside... Then again came back to disappoint.. Children entertaining place should understand how children reacts to "lying" parents... Yes we are going to playground pet and then what? Whait? For what? Children are playing and how to explain that we can't go... Sad

22/02/2026: Awful , it’s been a while since a posted anything but felt obligated.. frozen chips with mashed garlic potatoes with rubbery monkfish .. seriously I actually thought it’s harder to feck this up but they managed it ., Steak obviously overcooked and dry How it’s even allowed stay open with the conditions of the toilets .. no paper towels or hand dryers .. never again

22/12/2025: Went for movie with kids...was provided required support we asked ..Cinema was good in space, might require bit ventilation and kids food was also in good quantity.

16/12/2025: I really like my hometown cinema. Nice and small, with 6 screens and good movies. Just the popcorn are very very salty, don't give them to kids

18/03/2026: If it's all about chiken its KFC and if it's all about KFC then it's East Gate KFC, Little Island. The tastiest chiken i have ever tasted and literally, the finger licking is good. Kudos to staff and manager for having made the family treated so well. Keep it up.🫡

18/03/2026: KFC East Gate is amazing in all the ways. The food, the people and the ambience. I always love to visit and especially the OR chicken is top of the world. I recommend all visit atleast once and you cannot resist to visit next time.

01/03/2026: A humble chinese restaurant but a real gem in south dublin. If u r looking for a venue like i was for a family of 10 people, trying to impress ur in-laws and your young adult children in a Chinese restaurant, you know you got it right when the draft beer was fresh, wine delicious and the food menu has everyone s favourite and the service speedy. Here's what I ordered and all of them delicious: 1.Signature crispy roast duck 2.Crispy chilly chicken with salt and pepper 3.King prawns with corn and salt egg york 4.Seabass sweet and sour 5.razor fish with minced garlic 6. Twice cooked pork belly 7. Sizzling Beef with black bean sauce 9. Stir fried green veg 10. Stir fried aubergine and long beans 11. Chinese pork dumplings To add to our delight, the owner offered a huge complimentary fruit platter for our birthday occasion.

24/02/2026: Great Chinese food. I like seafood and meat. I can find what I like here. Steamed fish, boiled fish, ginger and scallion lobster, ginger and scallion shrimp, spicy stir-fried bamboo clams, and scallion oil snail slices are my favorites. Stir-fried lamb, cumin beef, mouth-watering chicken, and husband and wife lung slices are also great. There is a large parking lot downstairs, which is absolutely convenient. It is definitely right to come here for Chinese food. It is also a great place to eat between Dublin and Powerscourt.

06/10/2025: Well-priced, tasty food, and a generously sized pot of tea! The second time I visited, it took a little while to get served because of how busy it was in there (this is not at all a complaint, it's just how it goes sometimes), but the manager was very apologetic and even offered a complimentary drink to make up for it. This was not at all necessary, but it shows that they care about the customer experience here. The other staff members were also very friendly.

01/10/2025: The owner is so rude and uses foul language. The products are not safe, hygiene-wise. Be careful!

03/01/2026: The receptionist wasn't very friendly and eyed us suspiciously. You can't open the window, and it's unclear why there's a jacuzzi in the bathroom—it doesn't work. The outlets are really bad—there's only one under the desk. Lighting is a separate issue—you have to hide under the nightstand to turn it off. Old-fashioned is nice, but in this case, it's overkill.

15/02/2026: Just ordered a takeaway tonight, I will NEVER order from this price again. Food arrives stone cold and chips tested like they where cooked yesterday. €32 wasted. What a kip 🤮

24/10/2025: I love their food, I have to confess that. Their coffee is amazing and high quality, and the food is all tasty, especially the acai bowl and sandwich. In the sandwich, there are really nice veggie pickles which are a sweet and sour blend perfectly. Highly recommend.
