25/02/2025: We were warmly welcomed and given a place to put our luggage so we could sit at one of the comfortable tables. It was our first breakfast in Ireland and therefore our first impression of Irish breakfasts and we were impressed by the view on our plate. Everything was very tasty and tasty. Everyone was very sad and we felt very comfortable. A hundred percent recommendation. LG TO IRELAND FROM BERLIN
22/02/2025: The leaky roof really takes away from great food and service could be a little nicer - we asked for napkins to wipe the water from the drippy roof and swear we asked for 1st born child!!

23/08/2024: Stopped here for breakfast and gave the Eggs Benedict a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised as everything came out hot and the bacon was so tasty. It checked all the boxes and pass the ultimate test … a runny yolk. The seating is comfortable and if you like eating el fresco it’s a lovey spot beside the river. I only knocked it one star because the staff didn’t check if everything was okay and when paying for breakfast for three people it was surprisingly expensive. A good spot near town.

28/11/2024: When we asked the locals where we should get a cup of coffee, we were directed here to Wildwood! It seems to have moved out of their original space and is now completely outdoors. There is a great vibe here and the chef clearly really cares about the food. We got the cheese toasty (a must try) and breakfast burrito. The coffee was great! Only wish the plates and cutlery weren’t single-use but we understand there are probably constraints. Thank you!
14/10/2024: Stayed for the weekend and this place is absolutely beautiful, Paul is a gentleman and would recommend here to everyone, will definitely be back

04/02/2025: Visited here on 12th December. Plenty of parking. You do need to book for the more formal Fern House Restaurant, but we used the Sugar Tree Cafe, and it was perfect for a quick lunch. Lots of gift ideas, you won't leave empty-handed!
Don't be put off by the outdoor toilets; they are surprisingly warm and well equipped.
04/02/2025: Over priced mass produced food people eat with their eyes nothing attractive about it. Prices are outrageous in the store. Even to purchase a candle costs a fortune.

27/08/2024: Be sure to stop here and eat a pizza. Tastiest pizza in a long time. Not typical Italian pizza, but "Irish style". The Chicago Hot 'n' Spicy tasted damn good.
Very nice service and fair prices. We ordered the 12" pizza, which is roughly equivalent to our "large" pizza in Germany (30cm).

05/07/2024: Had the weirdest experience where despite waiting in line, owner gave us a lecture about showing up with 6 people. We offered to split up and then he said we “stressed them out.” Then went on for another several minutes about how they couldn’t accommodate dietary restrictions. Weirdest passive aggressive messaging of “you can’t eat here” while also explicitly saying “don’t leave” every time we offered to.
Most of our group ended up walking away and the two who stayed had a good experience. TLDR: if you’re a tourist don’t show up in groups of more than 2 or draw attention to yourself in line in anyway and you’ll be fine.
05/07/2024: Just fell in love with this tiny venue with a huge soul. The food was humble and delicious; owners funny and delightful. Worth waiting for. Thank you!!

05/10/2024: We love One the Waterfront, food is continuously amazing and the management are accommodating and attentive without fail.
21/09/2024: The restaurant is highly recommended.
The quality of the food is at a high level and really tasty. The menu is large and not overdone, but there is plenty to choose from.
The service was efficient and really nice.
The only downside is ordering drinks at the bar and not through the waiter.
The atmosphere is also very nice and the terrace by the sea is the biggest advantage of this pub.
