19/11/2025: The atmosphere and the service was great. The coffee was excellent. The chocolate croissants tasted like it was from yesterday even though I came early in the morning.

09/06/2026: My husband and I stayed here for three nights in early May in a Heritage Room. We cannot say enough great things about our time here. The room was beautiful and had well thought-out design touches like hooks around the room. The location is perfect for having a lovely seaside stay or taking the DART into Dublin. The breakfast was delicious. But most of all, the staff provide exceptional levels of service and attention. We received the warmest welcome from Bianca, who helped us with questions each day. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Bianca!

31/05/2026: We booked The Parlour for a cocktail before dinner in Oliveto, both were superb. My friends all loved their cocktails and the decor in The Parlour is fab. Staff were excellent too. We shared 3 small plates between 5 of us in Oliveto and everyone loved them. Mains were super tasty too. Wines were lovely and desserts shared were lovely too. Our waitress was excellent as well, making sure to replace our water without being asked and topping up wine. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

25/04/2026: This is a fantastic Chinese restaurant. I love seafood and meat, and I can find everything I like here. Steamed fish, boiled fish, ginger and scallion lobster, ginger and scallion shrimp, spicy stir-fried razor clams, and scallion-oil snail slices are all my favorites. The stir-fried lamb, cumin beef, Sichuan-style chicken, and sliced ​​beef and tripe in chili sauce are also excellent. There's a large parking lot downstairs, which is super convenient. Eating Chinese food here is definitely the right choice. It's also a great dining spot between Dublin and Powerscourt.

11/04/2026: Two available websites to order takeaway from, apparently I used the "wrong one" which isn't working anymore. I was informed this after the website took my money and only when I rang up complaining my food was late. The manager told me I can't get a refund or my food as it was my fault for using the wrong website.

03/06/2026: Went on Sunday for the roast dinner. My cousin had the beef, she loved it. I had the veggie option, oven roasted stuffed aubergine. Nowhere else does anything close to this. Absolutely delicious and creative. Both served with roast potatoes, carrots and parsnip, stuffing, cabbage, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. You will not leave hungry! Great value for money too. Well done chef, thank you.

26/05/2026: Came here with a group for my birthday. Arrived early and they seated us anyway. Always a great start. Food was good. Not shout from the rooftops great but good. We all ordered different things and shared. I'll admit when I'm wrong but the steak sandwich was spectacular. Variety of drinks. Can imagine it to be a class place to have a few drinks with the crew on a night out. The interior is amazing and it suits the vibe. All in all not a bad place to go in cork city centre

02/11/2025: I got spicy chicken meehon after describing what kind of a noodle i want on the night of the halloween,no eggs not sweet sauce ,the women taking my order was very practical to guide me with my choice and also asked me if i want spicy or not.(it is really spicy so if it is not for you keep that in mind) What i received as my order was totally what i was craving.the price (11.50)sounded a bit too much in the beginning for a takeaway noodle but considering the portion guess it was ok, she also let me charge my phone inside on a very busy night even before my order so thanks again to her for that.The only thing i would recommend them to come up with a solution with is their plastic boxes they put the food in.As you would expect asian food is served super duper hot and it is really not healthy to serve boiling hot food in plastic boxes,other than that the food is 5/5 and the service was even better

02/05/2026: Had a table booked with my GF for 20.30. Arrived at 20.30 and Waited till 20.45 to be seated. All staff seemed very tensed, in a hurry and stressed. Not a nice athmosphere to be in. Got seated and had a glass of wine which was very nice indeed. Place was very loud, so sat to the side of the tabel instead of facing my gf. The woman, i pressume Manager/owner, was extremely rude about it saying I cant sit like this because the adjacent table was too close and people had to be able to go in out. It was was more so about she treated me and mh partner than the actual issue… we left straight away, she didnt even say sorry…

02/05/2026: We had a very bad experience with a waitress - seemed like the floor manager. As the restaurant was very loud, I couldn’t hear my partner speaking across the table from me, so he sat his chair beside mine. Instead of asking politely for us to move the chair back, this member of staff was incredibly rude and spoke to both of us in a horrendous manner. This woman made us feel so uncomfortable at our table, that we cancelled our order and left the restaurant immediately . This was extremely disappointing as the other staff were lovely to us. This member of staff created an incredibly uncomfortable atmosphere. We paid for our wine, which we didn’t even finish, just to avoid another interaction with this member of staff.

25/06/2025: Fletcher’s Bar is one of those places that just gets it right. It’s cosy, friendly, and full of character – a proper traditional pub that doesn’t try too hard, because it doesn’t need to. It’s dog friendly (always a win), and there’s a real laid-back vibe that makes you feel instantly welcome. The kind of spot where you can walk in on your own and end up chatting with someone at the bar like you’ve known them for years. Best of all? They serve Murphy’s – and not many places do these days. It’s poured perfectly and tastes just as it should. Just the place to take the dog after a walk, Fletcher’s ticks all the boxes. Can’t recommend it enough.
