16/01/2025: Went in here last week to get a coffee and a sandwich, the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very affordable. The sandwich tasted better as its homemade compared to big retail chains. Well done to the people in gourmet who make these amazing sandwiches.

28/01/2025: Llamaron para el desayuno, frío y húmedo afuera, así que nos sentamos adentro. Éramos los únicos clientes. Un camarero y un chef en la zona de cocina. Sentado durante unos 15 minutos viendo al camarero ordenar su teléfono, música, papeles, etc. El par de ellos parecía totalmente ajeno al hecho de que tenían clientes esperando. Se hartó y se fue a otra parte. No volveremos - hay mejores y más baratos restaurantes / cafeterías cerca.

23/02/2025: Went to the Pantry today for the first time and i got strawberry nutella pancakes, my boyfriend got kinder beuno pancakes and they were amazing. The service is amazing everyone is lovely here. Best pancakes i ate definitely recommend getting them.

02/02/2025: Served the wrong fish in the restaurant despite specifically asking what the catch of the day was. Wasn’t offered any alternative dish and waiter refused to reduce the price as a gesture of goodwill. A shame as the spa was mostly lovely (if in need of a deep clean!).

14/02/2025: ordered for delivery. pre booked timed delivery with 2 hours notice. delivery was almost an hour late. food was OK, not great, very underwhelming, on the Luke warm side, 2 mins from being cold. I was very disappointed with the experience.

06/02/2025: Mornings are really lovely and lively here, afternoons are great place to relax and rest, and game days are surely festive. The service has not surprised so far, such a nice store!

09/02/2025: I spent a night at the hotel on Friday 7th Feb. The room was really lovely and the staff very friendly. I am a celiac and the staff at breakfast the next morning were so helpful. There was no trouble getting whatever I wanted for breakfast. After I checked out I went to leave and my car wouldn't start! Thankfully I had a set of jump leads so I went back to reception to ask if I could get some help. Honestly, there was no hesitation at all by the staff at reception. The manager got his keys and came straight down to the car park with me and helped me (well, he did all the work 🙂) get the car started again. I can't thank him enough for his help and patience, I really appreciate it. I look forward to vising the Osprey Hotel again and will be recommending it to my family and friends as a great place to stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

24/12/2024: We happened to be in town and fancied breakfast so here seemed a good bet. I had the avocado +poached eggs and decided to add bacon, whilst my companion had the large fry The bread, avocado and poached egg were nice, in fact the basil oil around the plate added an extra zing...I do wish I hadn't added the bacon as it appeared either deep fried or re cooked in some way as it was brittle and lacked flavour The fry was below par. Plenty of it but over cooked and perhaps not drained as the over whelming flavour was oil. I swapped one of my poached for my partner's fried egg and wished I hadn't as it was very far from runny and oily tasting. The staff are attentive and friendly and run the front of house efficiently but I do think the meals are a little on the pricy side

19/12/2024: Tuve el desayuno grande, todo en el plato estaba demasiado cocinado, parecía algo que había estado sentado bajo luces calientes en una estación de servicio de la autopista, todo sabía a aceite de cocina viejo, era muy caro. Desayuné aquí hace unas semanas y ya era bastante malo, el mismo problema con el aceite, pero pensé en darle una segunda oportunidad, no voy a ir una tercera vez, ese fue con mucho el peor desayuno que he comido. Los llamados huevos de corral estaban tan secos y duros que casi se convierten en polvo cuando se cortan. No recomendaría este lugar a nadie, maldita mala comida también. Nuestros desayunos llegaron a más de 30 euros. Las bebidas calientes no vienen como parte del desayuno.
