The best restaurants

06/02/2026: Grand spot altogether. Staff were sound and on the ball, food was savage with good portions, and everything ran smooth. Toilets spotless, seating comfortable, and the atmosphere was great once it got going.

18/11/2025: Grand spot, was at niece's 21s Plenty of seating.. lighting was poor, a lot of missing bulbs in area. . Toilets clean, place was cold, as door for smoking area. Food service was very good, good selection of food on platters. Also bar staff good and friendly, just a better selection of non alcoholic beverages would have been good.... Overall good spot... Second time been at this location. Downstairs before and good food, service ect .... Well done guys. Just parking could be looked at... As we were coming from outside area .. n required car ect .

26/05/2026: We really enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious, everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and professional without being too much. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had a very nice atmosphere. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely come back.

05/05/2026: How often do you find hair in your food, especially at a higher-end hotel bar? Here, twice in one meal. Partial refund based on “you ate it.” That’s not how food safety works. Polite staff, but poor judgment on handling. Not what you expect at this level.

03/05/2026: A very cozy place that we stumbled upon. Slightly hidden away but the staff is great with exceptional service. Though they had closed off the dine in area, they made us an exception and made a cozy spot for us to sit and eat our food. The food was very good and well worth it. It was also way under the budget so loved that too. Overall, just had a great experience

01/06/2026: Great restaurant to finish off our bank holiday with the kids. Mary, who always had a smile while serving, delivered us a warm welcome. The kids were made feel very welcome also. With excellent quality food.

16/06/2026: Came for a brunch on a Tuesday in June. Lovely staff, fab food. Moderately busy,(maybe a third full at 11am). Enjoyed a lovely cup of badger and dodo coffee and a really delicious huevos rancheros. If you would like to sit outside there is a small street front seating area and a larger outside area at the back near the river. The day I visited there was no view of the river as the glass on the riverbank needs a good clean and the restaurant probably has no control over this as it's outside of their property. It's a pity as it's a lovely view in the photos I have seen online and adds to the restaurants charm. Highly recommend though.

26/05/2026: We sat on the terrace overlooking the river, in the shade. The food was delicious and the service friendly. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
