27/05/2026: A roast dinner excellent and good value, the bar maid was very good and great service

26/01/2026: Definitely the best food around, a party of 9 of us there on sat & sun, all complimenting the various dishes. Steak sandwich was superb, desserts devine. Great staff and management. We'll be back .

18/05/2026: Visited the Camden over the weekend with a group of friends and was very impressed. Very smart looking venue with an absolute monster of a screen showing sport. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the food on offer was of a good quality too. A few of us ordered the "Big Platter" and its exactly that. We all really enjoyed it (although the mac n cheese was a bit stodgy). Would 100% return next time im back over the water..

11/05/2026: Booked for their advertised Formula 1 screening. No commentary was played over the sound system. At a few points it was removed completely from the screens. I feel they shouldn’t advertise an event if they do not want to show it properly. Drinks and food were good.

06/02/2026: Took AirCoach from Dublin and the hotel is only 5 minutes down the road. Elegant entry and charming lobby for tea. Our bathroom was a little odd shaped but we managed. Staff everywhere were friendly and attentive. We had breakfast included, which included everything on the menu. And the hotel bar was a nice way to cap the evening off.

29/04/2026: Food was grand but the portion sizes were small for the price. For example the large taco chip would be typically something I would describe as regular/small. My expectations were higher than my experience

11/04/2026: We ordered a spicebag - the peppers were completely raw. The chips and chicken were alright, but not particularly well 'spiced'. The service was great, the lady at the till was lovely, but the spicebag could do with a real upgrade. €9.80 is way overpriced for a half-cooked, under-spiced spicebag. Won't be going back unfortunately.

23/03/2026: I recently ordered from Pizza Max Dundrum and overall had a decent experience. The pizza was hot, fresh, and quite filling especially good for a late night meal. The delivery was reasonably quick, which is a big plus when you’re hungry late in the evening.

11/05/2026: If you happen to be staying in the Sandymount area of ​​Dublin, you'll definitely see this place at a crossroads. Stopping for a cold beer in good company is almost mandatory 🍻🍺 Even though there were a lot of us, they didn't hesitate, serving us all excellently and welcoming us in true Irish style ☘️🇮🇪

26/09/2025: Today I was in SuperValu in Thomastown getting cigarettes for my husband and myself when I reached the till and I was struggling to get the right word out the operator was visibly annoyed with me, I found this to be very disarming, secondly I handed over €51.10 for cigarettes when the change was thrown back at me and I was told she didn’t want it, I found this very disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour, if the same person is there again the next time I go to the store I will not go near them as I do not appreciate the attitude of them it’s absolutely unnecessary

12/08/2025: Really just a glorified corner shop. Basic enough and not somewhere I’d consider doing a weekly shop. Free parking is plentiful.

28/04/2026: Food ok expensive, no parking what so ever ,could get clamped if you overstay your parking time , Typically dublin restaurant, tourist attractions just no parking ,my advice about dublin don't go ,, Go to anywhere outside the m50 for a relaxing break

20/02/2026: WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD IN A 'RESTAURANT' !!!!!Terrible dried out overcooked pizza and lasagne was similar! Small portions too !White wine was acid! Overall poor. 50e for two, definitely not!!!!!Avoid, never going back! 0 out of 5!

12/05/2026: Our experience at this place was awful due to the receptionist's behavior. Even though the place was almost empty, he rudely and callously refused to give us a table, claiming there was no availability. What was most outrageous was seeing him then give a table to a group that arrived after us and didn't have a reservation. It's clear we were victims of racist and discriminatory treatment. Having a different skin tone, hair color, or eye color doesn't make you any less human. There's no other explanation for being denied service in an empty restaurant while others were given preferential treatment for no good reason. It's shameful that they have staff with this kind of prejudice. They should teach their employees basic manners and ethics. We left there extremely disappointed and with a very bitter taste in our mouths. I won't be back, and neither will my friends. There are more good people than bad. ✌🏻

12/04/2026: Outrageous prices, food quality has gone down hill massively. Quite noticeable the amount of corners being cut. 22 euro for a burger! 11 euro for a kids pancake Flat white very watery, pidgin grill was bland, avocado was fluffed out compared to the older high standard. This was a five star review but after my last couple of visits I can no longer stand over that and had to change it.

02/03/2026: Grab a poke bowl for on the go. Food is nice enough to go again. I enjoyed mine, the daughter found it average. We both ordered the salmon. Im coeliac and the staff (although lovely) didnt know anything about it. Luckily, they have the allergins on the wall. Its a quaint food stall in the Blackrock Market laneway. No parking nearby.

24/06/2026: We went in to H&L last Saturday, three of us. Server didn't seem to know if they had gluten free bread nor made any attempt to find out. She came back to take our order, my friend who is coeliac is also vegetarian, so she ordered shakshuka but apparently there was none at 10am on a Saturday, so she said she'd have beans on toast again waiter was unsure if there was beans. So she had to order items, turns out they had beans. My other friend tried to order a scone but again no scones at 10am. It left us shaking our heads as to what was going on. I ordered the burrito, it was okay - nothing worth the money I paid. All of us left feeling very disappointed & won't be returning not to Catletroy anyway. Menu was poor.

20/06/2026: Nice cup of coffee and excellent Irish tea. However carrot cake was virtually rock hard and not very nice. They did offer a few things as replacement but we were a bit put off. Staff nice enough though.

28/05/2026: When our children hear that we're going to Dingle, they always ask first "can we get Kool Scoops?" John and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. The sundaes are scoopalicious, the sorbets are tangy, the ice cream is tasty with or without the toppings. No gimmicks, just great ice cream with a Kerry accent. No trip to Dingle is complete without a visit to Kool Scoops.

28/05/2026: Very disappointing! Whipped icecream was not chilled enough. The icecream cone was watery and dripping everywhere immediately. (It was only 15° outside). It wasn't editable so we handed it back. We were told "it's natural icecream melts". Much better service and icecream available at Murphys!
