04/09/2026: Terrible dining experience overall. We called ahead to confirm they were dog‑friendly and were told dogs were welcome. However, upon arrival we were treated rudely. Our dog was only allowed on the floor, and we could not sit in the main dining area on the ground floor — we were forced to eat upstairs at high bar stools instead. Only one of the staff looks friendly to our dog. Both starters and main dishes were disappointing. We specified medium‑rare beef, yet it came fully well‑done. The chicken stir‑fried noodles were overly sweet, and the chicken wings were extremely dry. Our requests were ignored and the service was unpleasant. Bad experience.

09/08/2026: Easily one of the best Asian restaurants in Stillorgan! The star of the show was definitely the soft shell crab—cooked to absolute perfection. The minced pork was outstanding and spicy. It has quickly become one of my all-time favorite go-to dishes. We also tried the tiger prawn and mango salad to start; I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but the combination of tangy mango, sharp red onion, and tender prawns was mind-blowing. We will definitely be back!

25/07/2026: I couldn't believe the bowl of Braised Beef Noodles I got!!! Could have fed two people with that bowl of food. Absolutely fantastic food. Bellie the waiter was so nice and friendly! My first time here but I will surely be back!!!

27/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful First Visit to Reed on the River! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On Sunday, 26th July, we visited Reed on the River for the very first time—and it certainly won't be our last! From the moment we walked through the door, we received such a warm welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel at home straight away. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and the perfect setting for a lovely meal. 😊 There were five of us dining together, and each of us chose a different main course. Every single dish was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations, and every meal truly delivered on its promise. 🍽️👏 A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Reed on the River for providing us with such a wonderful dining experience. Your excellent service, fantastic food, and welcoming hospitality made our visit one to remember. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended. 🌟💖

26/10/2025: Have been there a couple times recently for family events great selection of Malaysian and Asian dishes as well as steaks and seafood service and atmosphere are excellent

13/08/2026: Literally the best burger and chips with curry sauce I have ever had and only cost around €10 being open 5-10 it is a must even if you aren't hungry. This alone will be something I look forward to having when coming back in the future.

05/09/2026: I was in Carrick on Shannon visiting my sister and had lunch here and loved the place. The wrap I had was fresh and delicious and so was the soup. Loved the wonderful organic concept theme 👌 ❤️

02/09/2026: We got food this evening from the drive through and it was absolutely terrible..had food here before and it was fine on busy days but today is Monday and it was very quiet only a handful of people inside from what we could see..we ordered the lightly spiced chicken tender box and the chicken was really dry..and we ordered 2 dexter beef burgers and they were black and burnt and dry and hardly any sauce on them...now I very rarely if ever put up bad reviews but this was shocking and cost nearly 32 euros..the reason we didn't bring it back is because we live 20 minutes away..sorry to say we won't be coming back 😉

04/09/2026: Our group stopped here on the way out to Allihies. The information on Google for opening hours was incorrect. We rang them up to see if we could just get takeaway sandwiches as the actual closing time was fast approaching. The gluten free option was WAY OVERPRICED for what it was and the attitude of the owner was disappointing. She was snappy when I went back in to voice my disappointment. I was told the gluten free bread cost €X amount so that’s it. She turned away and continued serving people. I respectfully pointed out again my disappointment, she dismissed me! She’s rude and doesn’t know how to deal with the public. Not sure how long your business will last with high prices and stinking attitude. Best of luck!

03/09/2026: This place has online plaudits and I would agree that the toasties are tasty. It's not budget at close to €70 for five people but there was plenty of filling, with the cheese oozing. The drink selection is artisanal with craft pops. So inevitably pricey. There was a deli and wine shop on site but we did not sample.

12/08/2026: Had a brilliant time at The Paddocks and the beer garden The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant, with such a great buzz and a really welcoming vibe. The staff were lovely, friendly and very attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend it and will be back again

16/06/2026: Food traditional and he serves pizza and tacos And most beautiful things he has sweet and cake the famous in the world and The one that achieved first place globally is called Maqrout. Prices are good not high medium mix tacos only 10 euro and he had very good coffe when you try it tell me ur opinion

04/06/2026: I was not a customer. During heavy rain I stood briefly near the front of the premises while waiting to cross the road. I was not standing directly in the doorway and there were very few people around. A staff member approached me and told me to move or come inside. While the business may have had the right to ask me to move, I felt the manner in which I was spoken to was rude and unwelcoming. This review reflects that experience only.

14/09/2026: My husband and I ate here last night before going to a pub for trad music. The side salad was big enough to share, and full of al lkinds of tasty vegetables. And the pizza was delicious as well with plenty of toppings (sometimes you go to pizza place and they place minimal toppings on the pizza to save money) It was nice to find a place that had a selection of wine. Overall would recommend eating here.

13/09/2026: This place deserves more praise. In a place that has an admittedly vast amount of pub options, this was a star. Pizza was good, a wide array of options, not too large, covered in mozzarella and fresh toppings. Crust was thin and crispy and cooked perfectly. The salads are also 12", by the way. Service was fantastic. Dropped my fork and had another one before I could ask. The place is upstairs from the outside so be warned. However, it's so cozy. Intimate lighting, couch seating options, good music, relaxed staff. Was a bit warm and it's not huge, so you can't always just walk right in, probably, but you aren't packed in like sardines ever. Give it a go if you're tired of the pub food.

04/07/2026: Went to to tralee for two days seen this place was down there but didn't look at opening times thinking surely all week. Didn't open until the Wednesday and when we looked at the place looked like it hadn't been open in years very run down on the outside

18/04/2026: This is the second time we’ve been here and it is amazing great service great fun. Highly recommend coming. Service manager is a superstar
