The best restaurants

21/06/2026: Unwelcome experience We arrived at 10:30am on Sunday. Most tables were open. We waited quite a while for the host to greet us. Upon greeting she told us, harshly, that all the tables were reserved and expected to fill soon. No problem as we didn’t have a reservation. I noticed some tables outside (all open) and asked if they were available? She said they were but it would be 30-45 minutes before we could order and eat. She clearly didn’t want us there. My guess is their kitchen was backed up or something. But it was clear we were not welcome. We popped next door to Tribe - delicious and friendly. On our way home I noticed most tables open at Fat. Oddly unwelcoming experience - the menu looks great

22/06/2026: Loved our room 307. Stayed two nights for my daughters dance e competition in Tallaght. Great parking great food. Just a couple of negative points: No slip mat in bath No fresh towels next day No fresh water next day But no fresh bedding though the bed was made & towels were folded when we got back to room but they still had dirty marks on them from day before. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

29/06/2026: Hands down the best Chinese in south Dublin, tastes different than all the others, it looks different and even comes in different little boxes which just proves they work on their own initiative, the flavours are unbeatable. The house curry has sliced roasted pork and the young chow rice is the nicest I’ve ever tasted, the shredded chicken contains lots of chicken not just streaks of batter. Highly recommend! ✨

22/06/2026: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles, no celery. Portion size: genuinely generous. Larger than usual for this type of takeaway and enough to leave a good impression. 9/10 Taste: good overall. Ingredients were cooked properly, with no raw onion or hard carrot, which is always a positive. There was a good amount of chicken, and the dish was not oversalted. Solid flavour and well prepared. 8/10 Service / presentation: simple takeaway packaging. No cutlery and no napkin included, which is a weakness. However, when I asked for chopsticks, they gave them to me immediately and without any issue, which I appreciated. 7/10 Price: fair for the amount of food received. Good value for money. 9/10 Overall: 8/10. Very good portion size, properly cooked ingredients, enough meat, balanced seasoning and fair pricing. Definitely recommended.

20/05/2026: No sufficient parking, the area across the road would be a perfect suggestion for domino's to buy as cars are abandoned outside, and taxi drivers get aggravated

08/02/2026: Had a great experience at Domino’s Navan. The pizza was fresh, hot, and exactly how it should be. What really stood out was the store manager — very professional, polite, and helpful. He was wearing spectacles and handled everything calmly and efficiently, which really gave a good impression of the place. Customer service like this makes a big difference. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Keep up the great work! 🍕👏

17/05/2026: This lodge was perfection from the staff to location to accommodations to the food!!!!! We stayed for four nights and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants a warm, comfortable, truly Irish experience--plus a perfectly beautiful view of the sea.

04/05/2026: Everything was great just a bit disappointed with the breakfast sandwich as I thought it was just sausages in a bun it really look like a compacted brick was not very nice, would not recommend the sausage brick sandwich

08/06/2026: Unbelievably hostile experience. I came in as a paying customer and ordered a coffee, a drink, and a sandwich, and sat with a friend to chat with my baby in a pram. The cafe was completely empty, yet the owner kicked me out simply because I had my baby in a pram. He rudely told me "this is not a crèche," claimed I was "being unfair to other customers" (in an empty shop), and stated that "no restaurant in Dublin allows prams," which is completely untrue. Instead of acting professionally, he continued to argue with me until I felt forced to leave. Disgraceful customer service and completely family-unfriendly. Avoid this place.

25/05/2026: Honestly surprised, I had to kill some time between seeing people for work. I didn't expect much, just to stop my hunger. I got the ham and cheese toastie with crisps/garlic dip. The price is the norm for Dublin which still feels a bit pricey but honestly is just the cost of business at this point, I understand that. The sandwich was genuinely delicious, it was served quickly and the dip was stellar. The staff were lovely and the interior while tiny has your typical chairs and table and a lovely comfy looking couch setup. In a world of often mediocre lunch options, this has mentally been added to definitely try again and the rest of their menu.
