28/10/2024: A great friedly local. Our second time to visit this establishment. Very friendly owners and the locals, too. They don't serve food here. Gents toilets stink but are fairly modern. Women's toilets are fine. A bit of bleach wouldn't go astray.

And service was rude , didn’t have all ingredients for my cocktail , given the wrong main course , waitress came back with food spoke rudely what is wrong with this and told me I’ll be waiting If I want the dish I actually ordered

09/09/2024: Sean and team provided an exceptional catering service for a family funeral in our home. The food was of five star quality, fit for any occasion. We expected roughly 100 people but there was enough food to feed 150. Their attention to detail was exemplary and every member of the team was efficient, friendly and sincere. We would highly recommend Sean and his team for any occasion.

08/02/2025: Great food, fairly average service, my only real qualm is that prawn crackers should be unlimited (within reason) so long as you're ordering a main dish. They definitely shouldn't be €2.50 for a second order of them.
07/02/2025: Let me explain, I ordered “chef’s special” pork chop because on the menu doesn’t say that is spicy. Turns out that this pork chop comes with tikka sauce, that turns out IS SPICEY , ups they forgot about that i guess.
Okey they take back my order and bring me out just dry pork chop that most likely comes from Lidl frozen veg and meat section, and charge me unbelievable 16 euros.
Please people think before visit this place.

08/02/2025: They DO NOT DO FOOD the place was empty and severly cold the 2 young girls on the Saturday we were in were more interested in their phones than anything else we asked them for volume on the tv and apparently it doesn't work but the other tv was blaring so high we could barely hear each other(football on the other tv so loud) they were rude not helpful and borderline ignorant

09/01/2025: Been here twice. Lovely Victorian greenhouse set up as cafe. Very good value for money. Greenery around you and fab view of northside.Had a soup and sandwich. Very nice and decent amount. Sandwich wasn't your skinny stuff you get in lots of places. Proper sandwich.
Not much parking at all. Better on foot if possible. But worth it.
They even give you blankets in winter. It is a greenhouse but heaters also. Definitely return.
24/09/2024: Lovely oasis in the city. Great for kids with an enclosed garden, animals and a small playground.

19/09/2024: Josey and Karen were amazing! What a great local Irish Pub experience! We couldn't have asked for better. Charming. Funny. Great stories! If you are looking for a great local experience then this is it. And a Pittsburgh Steelers pub to Boot (go Pats!). Next time we are in Ireland we will visit again. In the meantime, go to Harte's and keep our seats warm for us.
20/08/2024: Great local pub situated in the heart of Gort. Friendly Bar man, You couldn't miss the big sign on the wall 'CASH ONLY, NO CARDS'. The locals are not afraid to have a chat with you, without being overly curious and presuming you're some long lost yank looking to trace your roots! The pub was unmodernised, which I found refreshing especially in this day and age where everything is WIFI and TAP and people have forgotten the art of conversation, not a smart phone in sight, just gentle harmless banter and the added bonus that €5 CASH will get you one of the nicest pints of Guinness ever
