10/06/2026: Fantastic brunch spot with something for everyone! The fresh squeezed orange juice is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the yogurt and granola bowl with the peanut butter drizzle.

28/10/2025: Came back to this pub yesterday…Forget my previous review…Its even better than what I originally wrote.If you’re in Clare this is a must,otherwise you have missed out…..Its one of the great Irish pubs that quietly exist and are waiting to be discovered.This is my original review… This pub was recommended to me as having the best pint in Lahinch.It has possibly the best pint of Guinness Ive ever had.The staff are great and the owner is very chatty and friendly.The bar itself is exactly what a bar should be and theres a big beer garden outside for when the sun shines.10/10.Looking forward to returning soon.

11/12/2025: Lovely coffee but my god please use something other than post its to keep track of orders. Second time this week my post it “fell” as i was told and multiple people who arrived after me got their coffees first, honestly twice in 4 days is insane, of course theyre going to fly away opening the windows to gusts of wind mid winter, very frustrating when in a rush for work! lovely staff however and they deal with it well!

17/11/2025: My favourite coffee place for the past year. Unfortunately, today the coffee was bad. This morning the cappuccino with extra shot was bitter and watery. They need to check the espresso machine.

11/02/2026: Typical Irish Chinese, i.e., nothing like a British Chinese restaurant. For instance, the spicy Peking sauce is just your average run-of-the-mill, sickly sweet & sour sauce which I found very annoying. If I'd have wanted sweet & sour, I'd have ordered sweet & sour.

22/03/2026: I order from here regularly and I absolutely love the food, it’s always really good and one of my go-to places. However, the service from the current receptionist really lets the place down. Where the owners/other staff are very friendly. When calling to order, I’m never told how long it will take or how much it will cost I always have to ask before he hangs up. When collecting, he often comes across as quite rude and not very welcoming. It’s a shame because the previous receptionist was much more friendly and social, which made the place more welcoming. I hope this improves, as the food itself is great and I’d love to keep ordering from here

23/05/2026: This bar is a hidden gem, just off the main street a beautiful cosy bar with the friendlies people in youghal, so welcoming and the atmosphere is fantastic, lovely open coal/ log fire for cold evenings, we enjoyed a fantastic music session on Friday night with local artists that were brilliant, everyone in the bar singing along, cant recommend this bar enough, an exceptional family run bar in the hear of youghal town, I gave ut 5 stars but would have given more ♥️♥️♥️

12/05/2026: Made very welcome in this establishment, had mighty craic with the locals and owners despite my English accent, some very generous Gin and tonics and on a Monday night . The gluepot I think they call it once in hard to leave

26/04/2026: A very handy midway stop between the Midlands and sligo . Noticeably clean and tidy. Good staff, and competitive fuel prices too.

28/05/2026: It’s a cosy, small place. I really loved the food for its homemade and traditional taste. And exceptional work from the waitress, who was serving everyone on her own with such a brilliant attitude 🇲🇽🇮🇪

17/05/2026: Terrible service from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Both the barista/manager were rude and sarcastic. I politely asked if my order had been made correctly because I’m highly intolerant to regular milk and didn’t want to get sick. When I placed my order, he initially grabbed whole milk, so I simply wanted to make sure there wasn’t a mistake. I was not rude at all it’s a genuine dietary issue I have, and unfortunately my orders are often made incorrectly because of it. From that moment, the sarcasm started. After that, two of the waitresses kept laughing every time we asked for something, which made the whole experience feel very uncomfortable and disrespectful. The coffees were also poorly made burnt milk, low quality, and overall disappointing. On top of that, they automatically charge a service tip, which honestly explains why the staff makes no effort whatsoever to provide respectful or decent customer service.

22/06/2026: The perfect place for the Metallica Fan zone to be in. Whiplash played, they were excellent. Metallica Karaoke 🎤 I think a new thing has been invented. Great atmosphere 👌
