04/01/2025: best breakfast around and nice staff prices are good too

04/01/2025: Really needs a good clean and paint seats are disgusting! Food wasn't great again and service wasn't good tea tasted weird could finish it. I hate writing a bad review but they need to know how bad it is. A lot of elderly go here and they need more of a clean environment to eat and have tea. Get the cleaner in and give it a lick of paint! won't break the bank.

02/11/2024: Food when sitting always good. Since under new management prices have again increased. A simple bag of chips is getting daft expensive, for example. Best curry sauce in town.

12/09/2024: Best fish & chips in Drogheda in old authentic chipper. Massive menu. Service is basic and unobtrusive.

14/01/2025: Fantastic rooms, meal was amazing, highly recommend the steak on the stone! Staff were amazing, especially Marie & Kevin!!

06/11/2024: As per numberous personal experiences, best hope you are making payment by cash here or you can expect a rude confrontation from the owner/manager about giving payment by card should he be around behind the counter. It seems to me that he has not come to terms with the fact that, in Ireland, he has to accept payments by card the same as every other business establishment. I would think that only for some of his polite staff on the counter, this man would not keep an air filled balloon on a waters surface afloat. That microagression and dissident like approach to business has certainly lost this place custom.

10/07/2024: A peak level classic chip shop the chicken is amazing seasoning is perfection, great value not too expensive and top quality, best chips around. Service is great very friendly and helpful great staff. Delivery is quite fast also. However can be very busy at times as it’s quite popular so understandably not always guaranteed. Good standard of cleanliness.

07/01/2025: Found it very disappointing that this supposedly good restaurant didn't have facilities for a baby. When my family and I arrived with our one year old granddaughter we were told by the waitress that they had no high chair for her to sit in. I asked to speak to the (so called) manager who just said that they don't do them and never have. I said so you're not family friendly and he said if you don't like it leave. So we did all 10 of us and went across the road to the other restaurant Al Fresco who were only too delighted to facilitate us and our 500 euro. Obviously il sororiso is making enough money to be able to turn down 500 euro on the tues after Christmas. Very rude person who is supposedly in charge. Will make it my mission to let everyone know. 17/01/2025: Was here on wed, just two days ago. Incredibly rude staff today. On every other occasion we have always brought in food for 2 yr old twins. Today was down right disappointing. The babies were thrown out cos we had our food. They’ve been coming for the last year and it’s never been an issue. The place is cold and the toilets are awful. Limerick could really use a properly run place for small kids with decent facilities for the parents. Arena 5 cafe serves awful food hence you bring your own!

02/12/2024: Customer service was great. We are not from town and we were very late getting dinner. This dominos was the only place close to us and it was nearly closing time. Staff Gustai was so kind and patient taking & fulfilling our last minute order. We appreciate it!
