22/11/2025: Been a regular customer here for years! Amazing food highly recommend and kash and all of the staff are so lovely and friendly 💚

10/11/2025: We have loved chef kebab for years . The tikka masala and jalfrezi we got lost night was terrible both went into the bin. Used to be our favourite place whether there is a new chef? tikka masala wasn't even the normal colour it usually is . 30 odd quid into the bin. Won't be getting it again.

09/10/2025: Great place in midland for foreign language movies. Not at all crowded. Decent movie experience

15/09/2025: I just visited Odeon Portlaoise today and when we arrived the lift happened to be out of order. The staff went absolutely above and beyond to help us get to where we needed to go and they were most apologetic. We really appreciated it. I haven't experienced service this good in years it was wonderful to experience.

28/02/2026: Excellent food, great staff, the bbq chicken wings fell off the bone and were the best iv ever had, the Guinness is excellent, definitely worth the visit

29/09/2025: Rooms were very basic. Window did not open and wasn't shutting fully and it was very windy outside which cooled down the room and the radiator wasn't working. There were spiders in the bedroom, the bathroom and in the halls. Breakfast was made to order, but you could only choose from 7 different things. The quality of the breakfast was mediocre and the "avocado toast" especially was a joke. Location directly by the sea was nice though. We only stayed one night

22/09/2025: The shower wouldn’t drain at all and we asked for assistance at the front desk (phones in the room to call down didn’t work) and they said they couldn’t help. Mind you, the hotel barely had any guests and they could’ve easily moved us rooms but didn’t. Don’t stay here since the only way to clean yourself is by using the bathroom sink

07/03/2026: Came in to order on a not busy afternoon, the place literally only myself and a couple were having meals. It took them almost 30 minutes to get the food ready while I could see the staff were standing there, talking and joking. Even though, the food was really nice but the waiting time is unacceptable.

24/08/2025: Rice rock hard and brought to attention. I was told it was good. Didn't lose any fillings so thats a bonus. Reheating rice and getting pieces that caught in the edge isn't experince to repeat nor reaction from staff when told

17/08/2025: Ate here this week for lunch. Seating is limited with mostly high stools, but the ambiance is nice. The food was fairly standard, staff were friendly and attentive. Maybe better as a take-out option than dining in.

31/01/2026: Visited Khan Tandoori in Navan and had a very disappointing experience. We were the only customers in the restaurant, yet still waited around 45 minutes for service. During that time, we weren’t even offered water. The high chair provided for my child was unclean with old food particles stuck on it. When I pointed this out, staff only picked off the visible bits instead of properly cleaning it — I had to clean it myself. Poor hygiene and extremely slow service. Definitely would not recommend.

23/11/2025: Had a terrible experience with the short security guard here — incredibly rude, unprofessional, and went out of his way to make the visit unpleasant. Completely unacceptable behavior and definitely needs better training in basic respect.

09/03/2026: Second time here n I really like the atmosphere. The barmaid smiling and welcoming. Enjoyed sitting upstairs where it was quiet and chilled. Downstairs is much more bustling which I like too. Will revisit more in the future

09/03/2026: Don't do food but over all everything in the place is good no problems what so ever lovely and warm place up stairs is nice and quiet so can just chill out enjoy your pint

25/11/2025: The menu was very limited and the restaurant area was very cold (I had to keep my coat on all the time). I will definitely not be recommending this place to others - steer clear!

24/02/2026: The restaurant is quite dark, and it's hard to even see the menu. The appetizer I ordered wasn't very tasty, but the sweet and sour chicken was better. They have many areas for improvement.

10/11/2025: Love this place , lovely atmosphere, Thomas the Barman is a real gem he will always greet the customers with a big smile or his cheeky wink if his hands are full , he alone makes the place welcoming and Ann a bar lady here also you couldn’t hope for a nicer greeting from either one , NO COMPLAINTS , and the people of Cong and Mayo in general are DECENT welcoming people , so definitely give Danaghers a visit , my feeling is you shouldn’t regret it Clint and Anna

29/08/2025: Came from Belfast looking forward to the quiet Man village got told about the food was really looking forward to have are dinner and was waiting in the bar area with all our kids for over two hours which we came with free families in total. There was kids everybody was hungry and looking forward to their meals. There was a foreign man behind the bar which told us food will be served at 5 o’clock which it was 3 o’clock then when 5 o’clock came, they would not serve us other people in which we seen when we was in the bar across the way getting food devastated and that happened? Do not recommend at all due to foreigners working in the bar given false information and was very rude!!!
