The best restaurants

03/02/2026: This has to be one of the better burritos I have tried. Stumbling around Dublin trying to get to the Spar around the corner, the smells came wafting from here? Should I? No... I'm going to Spar. But... Let's just look at the prices and offers. A student deal?? Sign me up! Got a beefy barbacoa burrito with cremosa salsa and a Sprite zero. Heaven on a rainy day like today. Maybe the taste was better because I was hungry and tired, I don't know and don't care either. I liked it a lot. Plus, they have Valentina hot sauce, so of course they're legit. (And Frank's Hot Sauce, but they put that shit on everything (iykyk).) Hope to come back here one day, either by myself or with someone else. Also, hearing Spanish solidifies how legit it is. 😊

15/12/2025: Ordered a burrito. Beef barbacoa. What they lack in flavor, they compensate for it with hefty amounts of volume. The flavors are bland. The type of burrito that’s enticing to start, but after 6 bites in, you’re questioning whether it was worth the effort. Not enjoyable.

04/02/2026: OMG, I ordered two burritos on Deliveroo and had to come here to leave feedback! I’ve been trying different burritos around town, and this one is by far the best in terms of quality, taste, and how well it’s put together. Perfect layers of ingredients, with an amazing balance of flavors. Even the packaging was the best I’ve seen in Cork — well done, guys! I’ll definitely visit in person soon.

22/11/2025: Amazing pizza, chips and mozzarella balls. Worth the price. Highly recommend this place for veg pizza and sides, we ordered from uber eats and the food was 10/10. Everything tasted really good and the best part is the pizza tasted delicious the next morning 🤤

01/11/2025: I ordered a 12"kebab box and its was so good I kept eating from it. Food came on time .

12/01/2026: Kebab was really bad, I got half meat chicken half doner. Doner was ok but the chicken was really soft and spongy and tasted like the rubbery pre sliced chicken you can get in packets in supermarkets. It was really bad. Chips were ok but also no seasoning. Haven't tried the other stuff on the menu but definitely don't come here for kebab.

26/02/2026: I ordered the Friends menu 3 times specifically to get the figurines. All 3 times they were forgotten in my orders, and it’s impossible to make a claim/complaint on Deliveroo. (I chose those menus precisely for the figurines — otherwise I would have ordered something else.)

30/01/2026: First time getting Ly in a few years. It use to be massive but the spice bags are flavourless now, just 90% onions no garlic like it use to. The fried noodles tasted just like pepper and the only thing that was decent was the curry sauce. Plus you miss the 2 Jess’s. Place was flat

28/12/2025: Even after explaining how to make the food. Extra spicy and chips well cooked and crispy. I have collected the food and went home, when i opened the food and tasted, he just prepared normally even after requesting him to make spicy and crispy. It’s the worst food I ever had and returned back with the food and showed him and the guy at the reception was so rude and that’s not the way to treat the customer. I won’t recommend this restaurant at all.

05/02/2026: Decided to pop by and try out the Lam inn and I got a 4 in 1 and it was super nice, the curry sauce tasted really nice and very good prices

05/09/2025: I had an amazing time. Everyone was warm and welcoming. I was visiting from the States with my buddy, and we will definitely be back next time we are in Dublin.

12/08/2025: Small but also roomy if makes sense, we had a wheelchair. The staff were friendly, very helpful and informative . The food was generous portions and very tasty and felt good and fresh. We ate every crumb , pity bi room for delicious looking desserts especially the Lemon meringue, another day 😀 will visit again.

07/08/2025: Once my favourite restaurant in Athy, now after several inedible meals I have given up. The waiting staff are as lovely as ever, special shout out to Chloe and Katie, but the new chef is ruining the business. What he plates up is an insult. I have tried to speak to the owners, but they are never around. Please Tony and Michael, take charge of your kitchen, as I would hate to see this once delightful establishment close.

06/01/2026: I visited the Easons store on O’Connell Street today and purchased several items. Upon checking my bag while still at the checkout area, I realised that I had not been given a receipt. When I raised this immediately with the sales assistant, I was told he had another customer to attend to, despite the fact that I had not yet left the till. I noticed that one of the items purchased was priced differently from the price advertised on the Easons website, and I wished to return it. When I asked again about the missing receipt, the assistant stated that he could not assist and called for the manager, suggesting that I was requesting an additional receipt. I clarified that no receipt had been provided in the first place. Although the return itself was accepted without issue, I was incorrectly informed that the online price excluded delivery costs, despite the website clearly stating that delivery was free. The manager processed the return; however, she was also unable to provide a return receipt or any written confirmation of the transaction. As a result, I left the store having both paid for and returned goods without receiving any proof of purchase or proof of refund, which is unacceptable from a customer service and financial accountability perspective. I find this practice concerning and believe there is a clear need for improved staff training and clearer procedures around receipts and returns. I would appreciate clarification on how this situation is addressed to ensure customers are not placed in a similar position in the future. Additional comment: The refund was made for the item to bank account but less €5. The exact amount of a dispute. So Eason stole that money of me. UPDATE: after a while and another visit in the store the refund was finally completed in full. The manager on the day admitted there was an error in their system. Still no reply to email sent to the company though.

26/10/2025: Egg Benedict, was disappointed. Egg was to hard instead soft , potato old and cold . Any veg at the side Really poured breakfast.... Holend sauce to source....

01/03/2026: Went here after 7 months of a diet, excited to treat myself to a spice bag….. extreme vomiting and diarrhoea. I should’ve gone to the great wok, my stomach hurts.

11/01/2026: Great Chinese takeaway with lovely food. Often drive 20 mins each way to get it. Lady on the phone is very nice, cash only and ring ahead if possible as they're usually very busy.

20/12/2025: Food was bland and they only give you a handful of chips was pretty much an insult for the price. The burger had no taste and was almost very greasy. Such a shame but won't be going back again. Very old chipper. Man came across very ignorant especially when I wanted my bag / handful of chips in a separate bag.
