08/08/2025: Great burgers for a good price, I go for the double or triple burger, the sweet potato fries are nice too, only if they have blue cheese dip for those that would have been perfect. 😅

21/02/2026: I had booked the spa over night package as a treat for my mum, sister and niece which included a 30min back massage and we paid for an extra 10min lava foot massage for an extra €15. Myself and my sister got a 20min back massage with 5 mins on the feet with a hot stone and a few effleurages up the leg. The therapists nails was very long, the room was not playing any relaxing music I was listening to i-radio with dance music and the news for the whole duration as were the rest of the girls. The 'relaxation room' was really outdated, the snacks were melted and Aldi brand, the cheese was warm & smelt sour as was the fruit. We mentioned this after our massage and she said she didn't know how to fix or handle this and we still had to pay. Two of us are skin massage therapists ourselves and wouldn't ever go back no disrespect to the therapists as it's down the owner and her work ethics at the end of day.

22/10/2025: This is not about the staff or location both where fantastic , it’s about the price and dietary requirements on offer , no gluten or dairy free , there was only tomato soup and no desert options , the price for what it is , I am shocked 3 teas , 2 quiche with salad and soup over 60 euro

15/10/2025: Powerscourt is beautiful. The cafe has good lunch style food (sandwiches, soups and salads) which is what we were looking for.

24/09/2025: The food here is outstanding! Crispy, perfectly cooked fish and chips that were as fresh as it gets. The shop was spotless, and even though we came in late in the evening with a group of 11 people, Antonio handled everything with ease, patience, and a smile. Before we stopped in, our group was frustrated from a late night issue with our accommodations. Antonio immediately stepped in, took care of us, and completely saved the day from turning into a horrible travel experience. We enjoyed the amazing fish and chips over a pint or two of amazing Guinness across the street. It’s rare to find someone who puts this much heart into both the food and the people. His genuine hospitality turned a stressful night into one of the highlights of our trip. If every business owner was like him, the world would be a better place.

30/08/2025: Not great. The southern fried chicken was really nice, but ya can't have frozen chips in a chipper.

16/03/2026: Small Asian restaurant, we picked up our order. Food was good and well-packednto keep it warm. Staff friendly, hassle free service.

14/01/2026: I ordered a delivery to arrive at 6pm last night...it arrived at 5.14pm...it was too early because im diabetic and have to eat at scheduled times. I had phoned to give the correct eircode and she said " oh shit hes on the way" very unproffesional. Another time at the counter when my partner ordered a dish with no vegetables....she turned to me and said " is he allergic to vegetables" now theyve apologised and offered me a refund which is good customer service

01/01/2026: I had a horrible New Year's Eve experience at this place. There weren't enough staff, and 10 minutes before the countdown, there were no drinks for sale. The staff were doing the impossible to serve everyone. It was a disastrous environment. They want to save money on staff and simply advertise a terrible party with no management whatsoever. No cocktails, no álcool. Please don’t make people leave their houses if you not able to give a good experience

21/08/2025: To all the staff in Maisie’s, from the door staff to the bar staff to the glass collectors and cleaners, you made my entire hen weekend an absolute blast. From the Friday night dancing , Saturday day activities upstairs and into Saturday night dancing , you made us feel so welcome. As a hen party you tend to be watching yourselves and trying to separate as a lot of places don’t like seeing a bunch of women coming(I get it) however ye are different… we got waved at and welcomed from the second we got over that bridge! You guys are absolute amazing. Ye are number 1 in Athlone by a country mile and I’ll be recommending this place to everyone and their nana!!!! And also - whoever that Dj was that ye had Friday 15th and Saturday 16th - he’s an absolute superstar on the decks! I can’t wait to come back!! From the Galway Hen ❤️

17/01/2026: Absolutely awful experience. Service was diabolical the place was extremely loud and expensive. I paid €8.79 for 4 mozzarella sticks with a bland sauce and neary 30 euro for a bacon and cheese burger with a small portion of chips. Waiting 20 minutes for someone to take away my starter after I had finished and was not even given a knife or fork for my main course. Avoid this place at all costs, you will pay nearly half the price for better food and service in Eddie Rockets across the road.

22/12/2025: Ordered the Panang Curry with prawns and egg fried rice. Delivery was super fast. Delivered in 26 mins from order. (5km). Everything was warm to hot still, without having to heat up. I ordered the more spicy option. At first I didn't taste any extra spiciness, but after about 30 seconds I began to feel it. It was just the right level without blowing my ears off. Great dish. Will order again. I also selected the egg fried rice. When I opened the carton I was disappointed as it looked like boiled rice with fried egg pieces added. And that's exactly what it was. I guess I was expecting fried rice as one would expect for example from a Chinese restaurant. It tasted great anyway, especially when combined with the curry. Altogether, a great meal and great delivery. Would order again. Perhaps change the description of the egg fried rice.

08/12/2025: Are there on Saturday, beautiful interior and atmosphere but definitely needs more plant based protein options. If you're vegan/veggie it's bread & cheese based dishes - tiny portions.
