11/12/2024: Really bad service, we went in all 6 of us same age, they only didn’t let the 2 black people in, we have video evidence too of the bouncers not letting black people into the bar for literally no reason

11/12/2024: 6 of us came for 12 pubs and 4 of us got in, the 2 who didn’t get in were OLDER than us but black so didn’t get in? only factor between us was that they were black, the two who didn’t get in also weren’t drinking so it wasn’t that they were drunk. racist pub

20/12/2024: Usually it’s not too bad but we went tonight and it was absolutely empty. There were around 12 people there on a ticketed night that cost 13 euro for a ticket even though when we got to the entrance it was free. What’s more they had a deal for three drinks for 13 euro, I double checked that this was definitely the price and the staff said it was 13. I payed with card after TRIPLE checking it was 13 and they charged me 21 for three drinks. They did the same for two of my friends on multiple occasions and they get away with it by not showing the card machine as they charge you. This is an absolute scam I payed 34 euro for a night that should have cost 13.

17/11/2024: Rang in an order and they completely messed it up and tried to say it was my fault that I didn't order meals when I clearly did, very unprofessional staff they never fixed the order and then charged me full price and not the meal price...

18/01/2025: Good place for drinks. Staff care free vaping behind the bar strolling around. Food was shocking genuinely. Chicken burger was cooked but stone cold? Steak was mid temperature but red? How is that achievable???

09/08/2024: Gutted to see this has closed. First class coffee and always the best music. Staff were brilliant, friendly, took great care with their work and really knew their coffee. I wish them the best in the future.

12/12/2024: We had the Eggs Benedict which was very tasty except for all the fat on the bacon which was a big turn off. Suggestion crispy Streaky Bacon would have been better on this dish!

04/10/2024: Passing by, stopped for a coffee. Not a big fan of paper cups when consuming in a coffee shop. Not a snob or eco warrior either. It simply kills the spell. I doubt they would serve coffe in paper cups in Italy unless it is a take away.

12/09/2024: I frequently drop into Lillymay’s Café in Moate, and it never disappoints! The warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax, whether you’re there for a quick coffee or a bite to eat . The food is consistently fresh and delicious, with an impressive variety of homemade dishes and treats. A special mention to Frank, the owner, who always makes everyone feel welcome with his friendly and personable service. His passion for the café truly shines through in everything, from the quality of the food to the overall experience. If you’re ever in Moate, Lillymay’s is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

23/12/2024: This isn't the first time I've been to this store and I don't go there often and it's been 3 times (I even feel like it's every time I pay) that I've noticed discrepancies in price between what is displayed and the price at the checkout on the same product. I bought a product for €1.50 (shallots) and it went to €1.80, yes that's only €0.30, but that represents a difference of 20%. I had already purchased this product a few months ago and I had already reported this problem... imagine all the kilos that have been purchased since then... Besides, the first time the seller at the checkout told us that we had to pay the price displayed at the checkout... I didn't follow up but I think it's forbidden... Today the seller at the checkout was checked, with difficulty, he was pretending to find an excuse. He took a product (chocolate bar) displayed on the label at €1.50 and guess what, it was really €1.85 (i.e. an additional 23%...) Plus, I've already used the salad bar. You can check the price of your product next to this booth. The tare is well done with the weight of the bowl and upon arrival at the checkout there is no longer any tare deducted. Knowing that, if I remember correctly, the weight of the bowl is around 50g and the price of the self is around €1.80 per 100g... this also makes a big difference with all the bowls composed each day. I hope you check what you buy and I especially hope the store can fix it...

02/01/2025: On 02/01/2024, I placed an order for 2 coxinhas and 1 hamburgão. While the coxinhas were fine, the hamburgão was so hard it felt like a rock, and I couldn’t even eat it.

02/01/2025: Turned up to collect food which was ordered on the app - at the exact time I was told, had to wait over 10 mins and then our food was produced from a warmer bag in the corner which it had very obviously been in for ages!… bad enough but, when i questioned this, the attitude of who the staff that we dealt with was shocking… they had literally literally ignored us when we arrived (knowing there were orders to be collected) and then acted surprised when questioned whether our food would be cold!! Then proceeded to make an enormous event of re-cooking it, slamming the food on the counter and in general behaving like a bold child - no need for it and I had even offered to pay for the second meal 🤷…

28/12/2024: Pretty good chippy in clontarf. Got fish and chips. Was good only issue was the vinegar made a hole in the bag while I was carrying it home. Would recommend!!

24/01/2025: I absolutely love it! When I entered it for the first time I was surprised on how much bigger it was from the inside. It's a perfect, quiet spot, very comfy, and the shelves of books available to read are very interesting. The one which caught my attention the most was about The Rolling Stones.
