However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Raj. His friendly and attentive approach added a warm and welcoming touch to the visit, leaving a lasting positive impression. Raj’s dedication to ensuring a great dining experience was the highlight of the evening!

20/01/2025: I recently visited Spice of India and had an overall pleasant experience. The food was decent, though not extraordinary, and the ambiance was nice, but nothing too special. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Raj. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, elevating the experience. His warmth and professionalism really made a difference, and I would definitely return because of the great service he provided.

28/10/2024: Just arrived home from our third excursion to Ballyvaughan! Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Comfortable rooms; at great value. Information regarding local amenities and attractions readily available. In fact, anything you require assistance with, the staff are more than obliged to try to accommodate you. Unmatched atmosphere in the hotel bar, with excellent food and entertainment.

27/10/2024: Went to the hotel for dinner, very disappointing, firstly I couldn't read the menu as it was so dark ,the waiter had to shine his phone on the menu so I could see. Food was only ok, it was cold ,definitely would not recommend

12/01/2025: I couldn't praise the staff enough, very very friendly. The owner Dominic is very helpful altogether. The food there is top notch, I recommend Downtown very highly. Roy mc carthy.

09/01/2025: Good Takeaway during the day or late at night. Serves variety of Foods. Pizzas, Burgers, Fish and Chips, Kebabs, all sorts of Takeaway food. Town centre. Nice food to share or eat alone. Busy Busy especially the weekend. Good school offers for lunch time. Nice chips here. 🍟 And they Deliver too.

06/01/2025: The steak was very good. We made a reservation for 13 people and the waiter served us very well. This is a great place to hang out with friends. They were a bit slow in serving food, but don't expect to be in a hurry when eating in a restaurant. I rate both the overall atmosphere and the food very highly. The cocktails need to be improved. After all, the cocktails here are more expensive than other restaurants, but they did not meet our expectations.

05/01/2025: Food was undercooked, raw pork. After our complaint, it was replaced with a new piece of semi-raw porc. Fifteen minutes before the end of our time slot, we were kindly forced to leave. Worst evening out and most expensive too!

16/12/2024: The person making the milk and delivering the coffees yesterday, Sunday, December 15th, was very rude. I also work in a specialty coffee shop, and there’s no need to be rude or impolite when asking someone to move aside while waiting for their order to be ready. Even if the customer is in a spot that blocks the staff, we kindly and politely request they move aside.

12/12/2024: This team was on a special event at our office. Loved the coffee and hot cocoa. Nicolas made a beautiful coffee. Real barista!! Hats off.

03/01/2024: The golf course is in great condition for the time of year, just a pity we could only play 7 holes as they rain started to come down really heavy but will be back later in the year for another round.

17/09/2023: A simple pleasure. A good Irish breakfast in a comfortable space, served by very friendly and attentive staff with panoramic window views across a links golf course with a ridiculously beautiful West Irish lanscqpe as a back drop. As a non-golfer, even I could very much appreciate the view.

21/10/2024: I encountered a rude security guard who tried to kick me off the campus. I was standing next to the old main entrance when he came up to me and told me to leave. I was about to exit the building anyway, but I felt rushed by this security guard. I'm sure the classes on this campus are perfectly adequate, but the security staff could do with being a bit more respectful. I've never had any issues with security on the Glasnevin campus, despite spending far more time there.

16/08/2024: Campus where I took an Inturjoven linguistic immersion course from the Junta de Andalucía in 2009. Very good and welcoming facilities, impressive cultural places and classes. An unforgettable experience in the city of Dublin that I will remember all my life.

10/09/2024: Cozy café, right in the museum. Cozy atmosphere, close to the banks of the Shannon. Prices are fair, for example a pot of tea is four euros. If it's warm, you can also sit outside.

28/08/2024: Very tasty sushi. Always fresh, cooked quickly, nice staff, everything fast and high-quality, both delivery and pick-up. We order constantly, we like everything very much. (From the wishes - there has been no tuna for a long time, I would like it to be available).

13/11/2024: So so unprofessional. Rang before 6pm and she put me on hold for 2 seconds. Was 4 mins and so I rang back and this time when she asked me to hold I explained that no I didn't have credit to do so. She went on and on about how busy they were and how many other people she needed to sort out. Unprofessional. Took my order anyway and because it was busy told me I would be waiting an hour. I laughed and said that's no problem I understand. 90 mins later, a full hour and a half I rang back. Rang 12 times in total before someone answered and when they did I explained I was still waiting only to be told that my food hadn't even left yet as she had another 10 or so deliveries before me. Being busy is understandable but the professional thing to do would be to call and let people know they are running behind or to give a realistic time over the phone so I can decide if I want to wait 2 hours for my food. I can't say what the food is like cos I was meant to be a new customer. Rang my usual place and had my food in 20 mins from there. Very disappointed overall. Left it at 2 stars as I can't judge the food as never tried it. Not sure I will bother trying again if they are this understaffed on a busy Wednesday

03/11/2024: I got a delivery last evening from Tony's Grill, as a reward for myself, after having done a lot of really hard work in my garden, and I have to say, I was Even More Impressed than usual, with the Delivery. It arrived over 30 minutes Early, and was delivered by a very pleasant, Friendly man, with a lovely Smile too ! The food was Hot, Tasty, and the portions were Large and perfectly cooked. The fresh cod was cooked to perfection, and the batter was light and crispy, the chips were the best I've had, surpassing even the ones from Tony's which I've had before. The Double Decker Burger with extra bacon was perfect, as were the Garlic chips, and Every item was well wrapped in several layers of paper, and delivered in a good, strong paper carrier bag. Priced very reasonably too. I'll Definitely be ordering from Tony's Grill again ! Definitely 10 out of 10 Almost makes me look forward to getting back in the garden...
