12/08/2025: I tried the lemon muffin, but it was a bit on the dry side for my taste. However, the pistachio cheesecake was nice. Overall, a good spot for a sweet treat!

03/03/2026: €14 euro for a Ham and cheese sandwich and chips. That's insane even for Dublin standards, walked right back out, rip off Ireland is alive and well in this location

30/12/2025: Been a loyal customer for su way for over 7 years, eating the same sandwich which is a hearty italian bmt with bacon, the amount of pepperoni and salami were supposed to be 6 each yat only got 4 each, since when is it 1 euro for some grated cheese??? Also was overcharged, my 2x subway sandwiches were supposed to come to 18.40e yat I paid 20.20e, corporate will be notified about this and its a scam on all customers for my point of view.

02/11/2025: I have ordered home delivery from Subway on Mail Coach rd. One sandwich was missing, when I reng to say that they offered free sandwich nxt time even tho I said I don't know when I'll ever order again. No cash back. No delivering missing sandwich. Rest of sandwiches were poorly wraped, and there was no indication on what is what sandwich. Had to open them all and check. 5 people at the house waiting for order, and one of us just didn't get it. Awful experience, wouldn't recommend!

26/02/2026: This our regular family spot for dinner..staff are so attentive. They remember you as friends. Very friendly for kids. We usually go for early bird as it is less busy. Food is always amazing. Never had a bad meal. This will always be top of the list. Take away option comes served just as well as sit in meal.

04/01/2026: Decided to give this establishment giving the positive reviews but my god what an absolute disappointment. Food arrived cold, sweaty and needed to get reheated. Chicken madras sauce was watery, cold and tasteless absolutely disgusting. The naan bread was overcooked and cold. The chips were cold, sweaty and undercooked. Very disappointed with the food and more importantly, the food should never have to be reheated. 70% of of a near €30.00 order had to be binned, the best place for it in my opinion.

08/02/2026: Four of us met for a carvery. We all got a full sized portion and paid. 10 mins after finishing the food, an old man waiter asked us to leave. We said we weren’t not ready to leave yet and he came over again a few mins later and told us to leave now. Rude and disgraceful treatment.

25/10/2025: The food was delicious, but this time the staff really let us down. Not only did they forget the second person's order from an order for two, and I looked stupid just sitting there. The staff also came to other tables several times to ask if everything was okay, but they never came to us. They also brought water to all the other tables multiple times, but we weren't even offered it. The bottom line is the food was good, but the service was a letdown this time!

28/07/2025: Incredible Asian foodie experience at Lana Raheen...I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and prawns and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had! The starter of Bangkok Chicken wings was so so delicious. Overall this was an excellent dining experience...thank you Lana for the superb food. The staff were excellent and extremely attentive.

11/03/2026: We come here quite often and usually get the Spicy Bag. It’s really tasty and the portion is very good. The service is always great and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely keep coming back.

14/12/2025: The staff are really good — 100% for friendliness and service. The Bakewell cafe with seating area is very handy for charging devices and working remotely. Toilets are provided for the public and they are spotless. Good for people who travel for work. Unfortunately the hot deli food is very average and that’s being charitable.

25/09/2025: Last week I went and got chicken black bean sauce with rice and sweat and sour chicken. It was absolutely amazing it cost almost 40 euros and for that 40 euros they were able to go to the Sahara desert and get the diarrhea of a Ethiopia marathon runner who survived on curry and Bulmers cider since birth. They then put it into a box, managed to get it back to Castletroy and sell it to me for the bargain price of almost 15 euros.

26/11/2025: I used to come here every weekend with the boys and it was a different place. I would get drunk on 7 or 8 vodkas now I’m sober after 10 definitely watered down the pints.

20/11/2025: Nightclub is ok it’s not the best. Full of younger crowd . The main problem with mojos is the djs !! they can’t mix to save themselves soo bad same songs all the time playing.

01/02/2026: The bistro is casual, and we found a warm welcome and a friendly team on a busy Saturday night. We were a party of 4 and selected a large variety of starters between us. I had the Agedashi tofu and the warm bucketwheat noodle broth with yuzu (almost impossible to get yuzu in Ireland!). I've been to Japan. It will ALWAYS be challenging to get the very same tastes outside of Japan 😃, but I really enjoyed both of these dishes, and they were very much what i would expect of the "classic/simple" Japanese flavours. Of the other dishes we tried, I really liked the starters of: pork, warm oyster special, scallops, and tempura mushroom. I am generally not as much a fan of Don/Donburi, so those will never be as high on my list! We shared the 2 deserts, everyone enjoyed them. I will be back!
