25/08/2025: I used to like this place, but a few weeks ago we found a dying fly in our chips, which was absolutely disgusting. More recently, I stopped by Yum Yum while passing and saw a fair number of flies inside. Really disappointed and totally put off by the lack of cleanliness.

21/06/2025: Got southern fried chicken and kabuli rice . Rice were good for price and quantity was a lot . Fried chicken was refried . Very oily n very bad .spoiled whole opinion . I requested person taking order to make fresh refused straightaway. When asked any thing special in menu, pointed to wall and said you can see menu which was rude of him Addendum I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and had an average experience — I left above review back then hoping they would take it as constructive feedback. Today, I decided to give them another chance and ordered some food. When I went to pick up my order after about 10-15 minutes, one of the staff members approached me and questioned me about my previous review. He told me that I shouldn’t have left a negative review and that I should have spoken to them instead. I explained that leaving a review is my right as a customer and that my earlier feedback was meant to help improve their service, not simply to criticize. However, he and especially his other colleagues who was taking orders today become very hostile and I heard him saying a lot and asking me to leave. which I found highly unprofessional and disrespectful. As a customer, I never expected to be treated with such hostility just for sharing feedback. If my motive was only criticism I would not have gone back . Today food both nuggets and yum yum bites were good. I hope the manager or owner looks into this matter seriously — customers deserve to be treated with courtesy, not confrontation. Good service and polite behavior go a long way.

28/10/2025: Foods spot on, eating area is a tip, No milkshakes neither.

12/10/2025: A dirty filthy seating area, windows dirty , dust everywhere. looking through the glass at the food , the beans looked like they sat there for days. the trays in which they were in were all stained. The whole place needs a massive cleaning, the staff had no interest, and nobody behind the counters. The coffee was tasteless colored water. Overall a bad atmosphere. I don't think i would return again. Very disappointing . Looking at response's from management...We strive to improve services...Clearly you do not know what means.. as its every response from you... Yet nothing has been done.

22/11/2025: Me and my boyfriend have tried probably 80% of Chinese in Dublin and nothing comes close to this. The value is typical of most places but for here it’s actually worth it. The flavours, portion sizes and readiness time are always just on point. Only annoyed they don’t deliver to his place as well as mine. Best Chinese ever!!!!

06/11/2025: I was very disappointed with my order last night. I ordered the vegetable gyoza, but what I received was nothing like that — it was more like a mushy soup that tasted of cheap vegetable stock. The vegetarian Szechuan dish was extremely hot (and I enjoy spicy food), yet there was no indication on the menu that it would be that spicy. It was also so oily that the oil leaked through the bag and onto everything else. It was completely inedible and had to be thrown away, as did the gyoza. My son’s chicken balls and chips with curry sauce were also disappointing. The curry sauce was far too hot, and the chicken balls and chips looked and tasted as though they had been reheated multiple times — again, inedible. The only thing we could eat were the spring rolls, though they were a bit greasy. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and the food quality was far below what we expected. I only gave one star because I had to give something The order was a collection and even walking into the place it’s drab, dirty carpets and walls. Not welcoming at all.

28/10/2025: A far cry from the takeaway that it once was. After coming here for twenty odd years the last three years it has went down hill very fast. Every time we get it to see has it improved it seems to have gotten worse. Waste of money .

26/09/2025: Have got food from there a good few times. To be fair the food was never bad. Went there tonight and it was far from nice. Got combination started and only half the order was in it. Rand and they said they would rectify it but I'm 20min drive away. The rest of the food was not pleasant and to be honest it all went into the bin. Atmosphere in the Chinese was not great either so something must be going on there. Might give the place a miss for the future

07/10/2025: This very hospitable Hamlets Bar + Kitchen establishment in Kinsale Ireland was our favourite place to enjoy the high quality music and beer

08/09/2025: Had the pizza. Great fusion food but a tad on the expensive side. Service was friendly and attentive!

22/11/2025: Even tho I only went in a few minutes before closing the staff still took my order and assured me it was no bother I hope the owners know what good staff they have they are so welcoming and friendly and food was lovely too

15/10/2025: Food is brilliant but there is 1 woman who wears glasses in there that has no respect for her customers I’ve been in there a good few times and she doesn’t give me what I order out of badness I hope the manager sees this

14/12/2025: Assaulted by bouncers for helping a friend who slipped on the step. Power tripping bouncers who think they are gods gifts.

30/11/2025: 101 has always been my favourite bar in Limerick and I will come back but tonight I had a very negative experience. My friends and I were here for a night out and midway through our dancing a group of 3-4 guys became aggressive and tried to start a fight with someone we were here with. We were able to diffuse the situation but the guys would not leave us alone and I went to a security guard who directed us to another staff member who asked them to leave I thought. Unfortunately they were not removed from the bar and within 10 minutes 2-3 of the guys were back and touching us aggressively and uncomfortably again. I once again tried to ask security to deal with them and the same security guard came and ‘removed’ them. I decided soon after that the dance floor was no longer safe and called it a night. On my way out of the bar, I saw the same group of guys still in 101. After not once but twice being told that these guys were aggressive and giving unwanted attention to people who are trying to have a good time, I feel they should have been completely removed from the bar and was very disappointed that the bar seemed to have some sort of ‘boys will be boys’ attitude to this completely unacceptable behaviour.

03/09/2025: Some food missing from order and hair found in food advise to keep away

21/10/2025: Called in this evening to make an order. I had a look at the menu on the counter and the big menu on the wall. I decided on Meal 1 - Any 8" Pizza + Any Side or Chips + Can which was advertised for €10. I was also going to order 2 dips at €1.50 each. Which would be a total of €13. The person behind the counter told me it would be €15. I queried as to the discrepancy in price and he told me that the deal only included chips and as I had requested wedges it would be a €2 supplement as wedges are expensive. (Sidenote, you can get a 1KG bag of wedges in Dunnes for €1.19) There is a full list of Sides on the menu which included, Garlic Bread, Onion Rings, Chips, Garlic Mushrooms,Potato Wedges, Swiss Cheese Wedges, Cheese Jalapenos, Jalapeno Balls and Chicken Nuggets. The advertised deal in store and on the printed menu state 8" pizza, any side or chips and a can for €10. I cant review the food as I was not going to be ripped off, I said I would get food elsewhere. The store either need to update their advertising or honour the printed deals. Also the price difference on the menu for sides between chips (€3.50) and wedges (€4.50) is only €1 so charging a €2 supplement is very outrgeous.

22/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I collected my order from Top Pizza Takeaway and everything was spot on. The pizza was hot, fresh, and packed with flavour. The base was perfect and the toppings were generous. Staff were friendly and had the order ready on time. Great value for money, I’ll definitely be back again.

04/08/2025: We ordered food here once, the kids said it was delicious, so there's nothing to complain about.

15/06/2025: I have come here quite alot because I mostly get a lovely bag of chips but I can't say that for tonight and I am very disappointed which is why I am leaving this review. The chips are terribly overcooked and greasy as the photo shows and they just don't look good or like they usually do at all. They were served super fast also so I'm thinking these were left sitting a while or part of an order that wasn't collected and so served to us instead.

03/12/2025: Really nice workers, I forgot my phone in here one night and returned the next day and Sami had it fully charged and waiting for me. Nice food as well!

16/11/2025: The best authentic Turkish kebab in Limerick. The meat is genuine, handcrafted, with no chemical additives, a wonderful atmosphere, and a very nice owner.

11/11/2025: In room 6 and it was very difficult to see the movie. The emergency light at the entrance illuminated the screen, so it looked quite dark. Sound system was decent. Room was a bit cold. Staff and facilities were great.

15/10/2025: I love Zambrero as a restaurant, and this place was very local for me and handy. Although after recent events I’ve decided to move on to a different Zambrero to enjoy my burritos. I used to always order ahead online and then pick it up in store. I found though that in my more recent online orders they didn’t even start to make it until I arrived to collect it. It wasn’t an excuse like “we wanted it to be fresh for you” it was simply that they just didn’t prioritise it. If they’re busy I get it but I usually order at slower times of the day so that I can get my food. I also only arrive at the time allocated for me to pick up my food. The laziness was getting annoying but I let it slide. What was my final straw with this branch was the experience I had the one time and ordered my food face to face, solely to avail of the student meal where I can get a free can of choice. As I was ordering the girl clearly wasn’t interested to begin with. I’m giving her basic manners and instructions so unsure what her issue was. When I get to the till I ask nicely if I can avail of the student deal and she asks me to show valid ID. I show her my UniDays profile that clearly states my name, college and even a photo of my face. She immediately shuts it down and says it’s an invalid form of ID and she’s not giving me the deal. I ask her why and she just says it’s invalid. The girl next to me in line sees my frustration and steps up to say how she always uses her UniDays ID and they give her the deal. Nowhere in this branch did it say that this wasn’t a valid ID. If something is not a valid form of ID, a shop MUST state this at the till for customers. They failed to do this. The worker gave it to me but said she’d never be able to do this if “the owner was here”. I’d be very surprised if the owner of that tiny branch is there often. Maybe a manager yes, but the owner? Ok. She very rudely sat down my items the till and didn’t even give me a bag to take away my food. I have now moved to a more communal branch and they never ask me for my student ID anymore because I am a frequent and loyal customer and also am clearly a student. They took my UniDays no issue. To Beacon, do better. You have to label what is and isn’t accepted in a shop for customers. It can’t be a surprise when they come up to the till expecting a free drink. Students everyday look for ways to save an extra bit of money. Would also like to state that you cannot set up a UniDays account without a valid student email linked to a real college. It expires every year and you have to apply for renewal so that they know you’re still a student. It’s not a fake app where you can get away with anything. State policies in stores and train your workers to not be so lazy.
