The best restaurants

08/12/2025: Not great, probably good for families. Food is not good or terrible, the pasta dishes are large and stodgy for example they use cream in their carbonara which is a sin in Italy. Presentation of the food and restaurant needs improvement. Not very clean. Pizzas looked nice, they served us a medium kids burger in a giant bun, I really wish restaurants would actually offer a smaller bun and burger for kids as opposed to a lazy offering of an adults burger without the toppings.

29/11/2025: went here with a family of 12 we had a couple of kids with us didn’t even order pizza and the chef got the kids up making their own pizza gave the kids desert again on the house food was excellent and the waiters were more than accommodating we truly had a brilliant dining experience highly recommend it

24/10/2025: I'm slow to leave negative reviews, but feel compelled to do so after buying food at Lina's this evening. I ordered a doner kebab and chips.My wife ordered a spice burger and chips. We got home and plated up our food only to discover the ridiculously small portion size. My doner kebab was about 8cm in length and was 90% lettuce with 3 slivers of kebab meat. The entire kebab wasc5 mouthfuls. My wife's spice burger was 3.5cm in diameter. This place is a joke and a ripoff. Ibwill never return. Plenty of better take aways in Wicklow Town that serve normal portion sizes.

10/09/2025: Absolutely awful. The only positive is that I made a fresh pair of shoes out of the rubbery, overcooked cod and batter.

06/09/2025: the spice bag was SO bad I think someone took a big dookie in it! service was goofy ah bad because nialls mother ate fries! I think it would be better if it costed a quarter!!!!! 🖕🖕🖕 NEVER go this place is from OHIO!!! 🥀 took 6-7 hours to get my food and it was probably noodles

05/01/2026: Dirt.... absolutely disgusting.... soggy kebab.... no sauce after requesting extra sauce ... one chicken tender cut in half in kebab...rest of kebab wett/sweaty lettuce & soggy bread .... disgusting...disgusting..disgusting..& have cheek to charge €10 ....(I am not a fussy eatter..)

21/01/2026: i’ve order pizza from here many times and usually it’s pretty good, tonight my pizza was undercooked, the pepperoni looked raw and the red onions were soggy and slimy. i couldn’t even finish the pizza it was disgusting.

14/10/2025: The chips were good BUT the fish was the worst fish we had ever tasted!!! It was somehow already covered in batter ready to cook and the batters had become chewy and encased the fish which looked white with no shine or life and was tasteless. I would suggest cooking fresh fish from scratch in the usual manner, if not do not buy their fish.

07/09/2025: I visited here when I was last in Ballybunion. My mam and cousin were with me. We came about 19:00 for food after the beach. Waiting 30 minutes in the queue understandably because it was the evening time. Loved the food

29/12/2025: What a great chipper. The chips were fresh, dry and crispy. The sausages were the tastiest I've had, cooked in a delicious batter. I was served by Surosh who was rightly proud of hos food and quality control. Well done!!!

01/11/2025: Worst experience i have ever had they completely forgot my order. When I did get it i only realised when I got home they had totally messed it up. We got a taco chip and there was barely anything in the box . We ordered a cheese burger had no cheese and a regular the small bag it came in was 1/3 of a bag that is completely disrespectful and needs to be fixed .

22/02/2026: I was there last year, and I ordered a vegetarian food, what they is a bacon inside a vegetarian dish. How could so one trust them? When I as an employee there, she tried to fool me saying it is a vegetarian thing that is inside. I know what a bacon is. This is really disappointing. I have pictures with me to share

19/02/2026: The only reason im marking it down is because of the car park. We got blocked in by a huge queue that had accumulated for the drive thrgh, an absolute nightmare. They really need someone in the car park to sort out the traffic. Very clear signs telling you how to get out of the car park wld help too esp when it is SO chaotic anyway. I wld avoid at all costs in future. The Bangor branch is similar too. The drive thrgh's seem to be creating havoc.

18/03/2026: Hi, the coffee quality here is really low. It tastes bad, like cheap beans and just not enjoyable at all. When people are paying for it, they expect a decent product. Please improve the quality

15/03/2026: Great place. I was passing by and was really hungry. I don't speak English, so I asked if McDonald's had any Russian-speaking employees, and it turned out they did. I was able to choose the menu I wanted, pay, and eat in my native language. It turned out to be the girl who works at McDonald's, who is Lithuanian. The food, as usual, was prepared very quickly and was delicious. There were no delays or problems, so I'm very happy. Great place. I was passing by and was really hungry. 11/02/2026: Had an early morning hot chocolate on a weekday morning. Service was barely polite almost surly. Hot chocolate was average at best . Nothing pleasant about the experience at all.
