04/01/2025: Beans are good, but served coffee is so disappointing. It's so bad in fact, we decline the free one we get with the beans, as it ends up unfinished in the car. Pastries look great, and many times I've been enticed into buying one only to find it stale... I've given up. I got a rice krispie square there recently, and it too was like its been out for a week. Staff are very nice, friendly and super helpful just shame about the product

03/01/2025: Popped in for Lunch when in the area, had the chicken burger, great value, top quality food and the most friendly helpful staff... Would recommend completely.

17/12/2024: Benefits from being only cafe left in the industrial estate...witnessed male barista/owner be rude to customers and general public on several occasions.

20/09/2024: Was on holiday for a few days with the Mrs & went here for a meal 1 night, as a couple who travel a lot & like to experience new restaurants, I've got to say the food & experience was great. The beef cheeks were amazing, the best ive actually had, perfectly cooked, the Mrs is still talking about her garlic prawns she had as a starter. I will definitely be giving this place another visit next time I'm in the area

30/12/2024: Ordered a sweet chilli chicken wrap and there was a piece of plastic in the wrap. If I didn’t look into the wrap probably I would have ate it. Please check all the food for packaging before serving to consumers.

26/11/2024: Lovely place and people. Don't miss it as it's somewhat hidden around corners. We found it as we exited the public parking garage through a back door, otherwise we might have not found it . Small cozy place, perfect atmosphere, great food for a snack or a full meal. Great prices too.

16/12/2024: The food came quickly, that was the only positive thing. Anyway we were the only customers in the restaurant. I had bad experience there. First of all it was cold inside. The heating system was not working. Now about the food, I ordered the Chow Mein with beef&chicken (only), without king prawns. The price is 15,50€. On the bill the price was 18,50€. I said this price is for the Chow Mein dish with beef, chicken and king prawns. I ordered without king prawns. The waitress said yes but they add more chicken&beef on the dish when you don’t order the prawns, hence the additional costs. Totally bull shit! The portion was less than normal, although when I asked before I ordered how are the portions the waitress said oh they are very generous with the portions here. No taste at all, no spices, barely noodle in the bowl, I was still hungry. Why don’t you just tell the customer that you will charge them the highest price anyway? Scammers!!! I will never come back, and I don’t recommend!

05/01/2025: Nice friendly staff, food was ok but not fantastic. Its clear that the owners and management have take nothing from a lot of the previous reviews regarding the service in this place. Although our server was a really nice and pleasant girl , service was excruciatingly slow between plates, it all seemed to be extremely disorganized. Maybe more staff needed on the floor but I would not be rushing back here.

06/08/2024: Very pleasantly surprised by the level of the food with the broccoli being the star of the show. Nice wine list and good cocktails. Very nice service from a team that were under severe pressure on the evening in question. Highly recommend and will return soon.

08/11/2024: 1 star is too much! Found disgusting hair in my chips and when confronted the staff only got a dirty look with no apology! The fry is a joke with 2 pieces of leathery bacon 🥓 and dry shrivelled sausages👎Dirty sticky cutlery, tea pots never been washed and the whole place is in shambles👎

25/11/2024: First time to try this place. Myself and my partner decided to try out this place today after a hospital appointment and having travelled up from Wexford so we were very tired and hungry. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. I ordered a sandwich toasted with gluten free bread and my partner ordered a sausage roll and we had two coffees. Service was OK but the guy on the register was slow. Food was served quick enough after the wait but it was very disappointing. My sandwich was soggy and tasted greasy and had no onion on it like I asked for. I also had a miserable serving of crisps with it that I wasn't sure if they were gf so left them. Most places serve with a bit of salad or coleslaw on the side..but effort was lacking here. It was all very tasteless and miserable looking for €21. Won't be returning or recommending.

24/12/2024: Finally found an Indian restaurant which serves proper Indian food. Each dish is catered to individuals specifications. The Momo are to die for. Everything was fresh. The staff is very friendly and well informed.

19/08/2024: Very surprised when asking for VAT receipt that they said they don't give VAT receipts or nor did they seem to care, I asked nicely why that was the case and was told by the manager, "I don't control the tills if you want a recept, that's how they come ". (Very dismissive) Not good enough supermacs , I may have to email head office to express my concerns...staff lovely, manager not helpful at all.

29/09/2024: I had a very disappointing experience at Zambrero Maxol Dundalk. We called 10 minutes before arriving, and the person on the phone confirmed the restaurant was open. After driving nearly 5 kilometers to get there, we were told at the counter that the shop was closed. This was at 8:30 pm, even though we were informed earlier that they close at 9 pm on weekends. It seemed like the staff was in a rush to close up early and head home. This lack of communication and poor service was very frustrating. Would not recommend relying on their service if you're in a hurry or driving a distance.
