12/10/2025: Myself and partner use to love this place, but after how my daughter was treated during her recent visit. The woman serving us was unprofessional and downright rude to her, which is completely unacceptable. Very disappointing

01/10/2025: All the staff were very friendly except for the manager, who was bland and rude. I went to ask her a question, and she treated me in the worst possible way. She wouldn't let me speak, and when she got tired, she passed the problem to one of her employees and left in the middle of the conversation. The music from the bar can be heard in the rooms at night, even making the floor rumble.

19/09/2025: Great pint at €5.50 on one of the most expensive streets in Cork City Center. With prices in the City reaching €6.50+ There is also happy hour and menu deals. It also has a hostel and bar with screens, also outdoor seating. In a great location for transport. If a visitor or a local a great place to check and enjoy.

03/11/2025: La Tana is probably my favorite pizza spot in Cork, on its day. My main issue is the inconsistency. Sometimes we get it and it's amazing. Sometimes it's a lil undercooked and greasy. Sometimes it's overcooked and the base is actually burned. I've had more good than bad but for the prices they're charging I'd expect to at least be able to predict what I'm getting. The one thing I will say is they don't skimp on the toppings. Very generously topped every time. That part is consistent. Oh and the Garlic sauce. Immense. A must for your pizza.

11/10/2025: Waited an hour and a half for delivery. Food arrived stone cold and drinks completely wrong and charged full price. Absolutely ridiculous service and standard.

21/11/2025: Lovely Eddie Rockets with nice and friendly personnel. Foods tasty and good view over the main road. Bit hidden above the cafe, side entrance up the stairs.

09/11/2025: delivery time needs to be set up earlier, we orderd at 4:55 as soon as they open it, all we got was chicken balls chips and 3 in 1 the food didnt arrive until 6:25, when we called at 6:05 the lady said its on the road and wont be long, we then called at 6:18, the lady once again said its on the way, lo and behold it did not arrive until 6:25. Either hire more drivers or open the times earlier

09/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ordered from Grace’s Garden for the first time since recently moving to the area, and I’m so happy I did! 😊 I had the duck in orange sauce with fried rice and chicken and corn soup — everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The girl who took my order over the phone was so friendly, and the food arrived in about 30 minutes. The delivery driver was really nice too. Overall, amazing service and tasty food — I’m very happy and will definitely order again! 🍜🦆🥢

06/07/2025: We had an absolute blast at JD’s Pub in Youghal! The music was fantastic, with a lively mix of classic rock and country from a singer that had everyone on their feet. The atmosphere was electric—busy but welcoming, with friendly locals and staff creating a real sense of craic. The pub’s spacious interior and cozy beer garden add to the vibe, and the message “There are no strangers here, just friends you haven’t met… Brendan Behan” truly reflects the warm, inclusive spirit where everybody feels like friends. Great drinks selection at reasonable prices, too. Highly recommend JD’s for good tunes and a vibrant, fun atmosphere!

05/05/2025: Disappointing interaction with management We visited with a group of friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere—bar staff were friendly and the live singer was a lovely touch. However, our experience was soured by an uncomfortable interaction with a member of the management team. While some of our group were dancing, two of us stayed at the table. A manager approached and told us we couldn’t take up a full table if the venue was busy. We were understanding and said we’d move our belongings to make space for others. What felt inappropriate was the follow-up comment implying we weren’t ordering enough drinks. I pointed to a full glass of wine infront of my friend and she laughed and said is that between the two of you. The tone felt unnecessarily harsh and made us feel unwelcome. Sadly, we chose to leave shortly after. It’s unfortunate, as the rest of the evening had been enjoyable up until that point.

15/09/2024: Burger was exceptional. Chips were unfortunately a bit soggy. Burger good enough to earn 5 stars despite the chips.

13/09/2024: Got the double cheese burger, both pattys were overcooked and tough to chew. The chunky chips were awful and the "homeslaw" coleslaw was disgusting and a little tiny bowl of it was €6 which is simply just thievery. Would recommend everyone to avoid this place completley, just not up to standard at all. If you want a burger go around the corner to Five Guys, even McDonald's would be better .
