04/02/2026: bring back the chicken wings and do a mixed kebab and then this is the best chipper in the cabra and greater area👍 excellent staff aswell very friendly

29/12/2025: Place is gone to bits with reheated food got smoked cod and chips today both reheated and ended up in bin and that was early thats second time in couple of months sadly wont b ordering there again

Man who i think is owner very rude staring waiting on your to finish your dinner very off putting lifting plates when others at the table are still eating Meals were all over the place rice was out 15 mins before the mains were ready 2 people's starters were out 10 mins after others had finished not a single person in the place seemed or acted like they had a clue what was going on i will not be back and I advise others to stay away

21/12/2025: Came here for a family gathering, waiting staff good, attentive. Party of six, my order didn’t appear for 15-20 minutes after the other five orders. For me this is poor form and while they did apologise there wasn’t an explanation given. The food itself is fine it’s a safe menu but the seasoning is limited to salt and pepper and it was very much a soft texture diet lacking in much variety of texture. Prawns limp and most definitely over cooked.

04/02/2026: Mr. Chef never disappoints! The kebabs are juicy and full of flavor, and the pizzas are perfectly cooked every time. Their sauces are next level, especially paired with the crunchy taco chips. Fresh, warm naan breads just tie everything together — highly recommended!

26/02/2026: Would rate 0 like everyone else if I could. Was here a week ago with my little boy so we could grab a bite. Vibes were already off and I can tell the staff are being mistreated by their manager so I wouldn’t blame them for anything when it comes to service. Seen the manager yelling at the staff and it’s not a good look in front of my 4 year old and even other families eating there. Toxic environment !!!!!!! 😢 no wonder the workers seem like they’re being slaved around, it’s because it’s true! You’d think the managers are running a prison 😡 absolute joke of a place 💔

18/02/2026: Called in for a quick bite and was very pleasantly surprised. Place is spotless, drive-thru flows much better, and the staff are genuinely sound...warm welcome and quick service. Food was fresh, hot, and exactly what you want after a long day on the road. Handy location and plenty of parking too. Fair play to the team.

01/02/2026: The place itself is charming, very well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly. We ordered two glasses of wine, one from Chile and one from New Zealand. To my surprise (I’m usually not a fan of Chilean wine), both were really good, and the pours were generous. The waiter was lovely and even brought the bottle over so I could see the name of the wine. Zero complaints there. Also worth mentioning: in January, pints are €4.50, which is a great deal, even though we didn’t try them. I’m giving 3 stars because we came in mainly due to the advertised snack + pint until 9pm. We ordered the loaded fries with truffle and parmesan. As you can see in the photo, despite being a large plate, they’re barely “loaded” at all. They were essentially fries with some parmesan sprinkled on top. Tasty, yes, but calling them “loaded fries” feels misleading. When we asked for a bit more sauce (the one you see in the photo), we were told no because the kitchen was closed. I ended up speaking with the manager to explain that this didn’t feel fair, and it took him literally two minutes to get it — though not without first insisting again that the kitchen was closed and the chefs were already gone. Honestly, charging €9 for fries with a bit of cheese and a small pot of spiced mayo, and then debating over giving a bit more sauce, really detracted from the experience. We weren’t asking for anything to be cooked — just a simple gesture that would have made the experience much more pleasant. Overall, thank you for the service. I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend it — there are definitely good things about the place — but with so many options in Cork, it’s probably not somewhere we’d return to.

02/01/2026: Most expensive roll in Cork? I've been a customer of the deli here for a good 20 years, but I've found their prices and habits of overcharging have just gone crazy. Despite advertising prices for various rolls, no matter what you get in it, you will be charged the highest price. I've often got a 4-5 item roll, and you will still be charged for 8 items. I recently started to ask for the 8 items, out of principal, and now they are charging €7.50 for a breakfast roll. False advertising and overpriced. Insane.
