20/04/2025: I only gave one star so that they would let me write, the truth is that I always travel and something like this has never happened to me. The receptionist broke my lock because I made a mistake and used the Wrong locker made fun of me to my face he laughed and treated me in a derogatory manner I spoke Very little English and I asked for a translator who was in the Bar, a guy who speaks Spanish and he didn't allow it, he is simply disrespectful, he broke my lock, they took my things out of the room, yes. Call me and ask me what happened He says that he Hotel can do those things to you I asked him to show me the policy where it says that they can do that and he laughed at me. I didn't even understand that he only spoke English and that if I didn't understand, he wasn't going to do anything. I mean, they broke my lock, they exposed my luggage and in the process, they took it from me. The staff at the reception is a shame. I was very excited because I liked the hotel for the price-quality ratio but with this insecurity that they do things without looking for other solutions, changing the box while I arrive is a solution or calling me on the phone. In short, 0 points for customer service and the worst thing is that the lock did not want to pay me. I only gave one star so I could write this review. The truth is, I travel often and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. A staff member at the reception broke my lock because I mistakenly used the wrong locker. He laughed in my face and treated me with complete disrespect. I don't speak much English, so I asked him to use a translator or to call over the Spanish-speaking guy at the bar, and he refused. His behavior was completely disrespectful. He broke my lock, removed my belongings from the room without calling or asking me what had happened. He claimed the hotel is allowed to do that, and when I asked him to show me the policy that says so, he just laughed at me. He said that since he only spoke English, if I didn't understand, that was my problem. So not only did they break my lock and expose my belongings, but he also mocked me for it. I asked for a complaint form, and he just gave me an email address for someone named Carlos Martínez, supposedly the manager, to whom I should send an email to report the abuse from this employee. I hope this message reaches management and they take a serious look at who they have working at the front desk. It’s really a shame because I was excited to stay here, I liked the hotel and thought it had a good price-quality ratio. But with this level of insecurity and lack of proper solutions, like simply moving the locker or calling me, it's unacceptable. Zero points for customer service. And the worst part? He didn't even offer to pay for the broken lock.

31/03/2025: A little on the expensive side but the coffee quality was great, one of the nicest oat milk cappuccinos I’ve had and the staff working yesterday were lovely !

01/01/2025: All the pub grub' venues had finished up at 6pm/7.30 on New year's eve so I chanced the Lemon Tree. Beautifully decored restraunt and I was greeted warmly in being seated at a requested table for one. I got a small portion of chips, rice, curry sauce and a mineral. Really lovely setting and location that opens late for either dining in or collecting a takaway. I'll definitely visit again. Happy new year and thank you. ♥️🍨🍹🫖☕️

24/12/2024: Rang to order for delivery, I live on the outskirts of blessington, due to my stutter which I had informed them about, they assumed I was a prank caller even though they said they could deliver to my address and took my card over the phone. I ended up driving to them 15 minutes before they closed and told me they hadn’t made my order. I had then been left with no food after a long day, really couldn’t be more disappointed.

15/04/2025: Nice place for breakfast especially if it is good weather and you can sit outside!

26/03/2025: I visited macs shack recently I gat the pork chop and I have to say it was beautiful also you got a generous portion as well also lisa is kind chatty and very friendly she shares my hobby of cars I will be back.

11/03/2025: Got a matcha here today and very disappointed 6€ and it was just a cup of coconut milk hardly any ice and un whisked grainy chunks of matcha which is very disappointing from a coffee shop boasting and entire separate menu for their matcha

03/01/2025: A nice little coffee shop with delicious eats, but it would help a lot to improve the image if the floor is kept clean. Went there for cappuccino today and the floor was strewn with bits of food that fell off the tables. That and the table tops should be wiped clean regularly. The place has a lot of potential to attract customers

24/04/2025: The staff were friendly and helpful, the you and me noodles were very bland and the shredded chicken wasn't really shredded. Perhaps the chilli sauce was forgotten on my noodles.

21/04/2025: Got a takeaway for 4 people on Easter Saturday. Absolutely horrible.food ended up in the bin.

03/05/2025: Food is okay but expensive. We spent 100 euro on food and waited 2 hours for our order to arrive. Called twice waiting and not so much as an apology from the staff. One garlic dip is 1 euro and is only half filled? The delivery driver also tried to walk off with a 10er and then claimed he had no change. Not the first time he "has no change" but miracously has change when you tell him you want him to come back with it.

23/04/2025: Really Good Place, Good Prices and the food it's really good, I went when it was a Latina Girl Working and was a good service, Really good Music and Atmosphere, Chicken and Chips was the best but also the pizza was delicious.

07/03/2025: They can't taks orders when its midnight. The staff is so confused and unable to help in any conditions needed. Food is good but the staff and service is bad as i won't recommend it anymore.

03/12/2024: I was in here earlier today and I was absolutely disgusted at the way an older customer was treated! We were just finishing up our food when I heard a server raising her voice to an older lady sitting at the next table. The lady was waiting for her daughter before she ordered her food. She simply told the server that she was waiting for her daughter. The server aggressively told her "you cannot sit here until you have ordered your food". The lady tried explaining that she was waiting for her daughter. That wasn't enough... Another staff member came over telling the lady "you cannot sit here. That table is for people who have already ordered their food". So now there were two servers standing over her as if it wasn't embarrassing enough for her. All the nearby tables could hear them. The lady again tried explaining that she was just waiting for her daughter. These two staff members were so horrible to her. It was absolutely disgusting to see. The poor lady was absolutely mortified. There was another table at the wall that the people ordering could have sat at. I offered the lady our table as we were leaving. She seemed a lovely lady and visibly upset and embarrassed. I was genuinely upset myself for a good while after witnessing the way they treated her. Disgusting!!
