The best restaurants

09/05/2025: They have both great food and amazing service. We had the chicken wings and the fish and chips, both are homemade and have great taste. The servers are very nice and the older gentleman who we think runs the place is tremendous. Definitely recommend

19/04/2025: We are staying in the inn and for the first evening we decided to have dinner here. Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived late, the managers still let us eat. I couldn't have imagined a better welcome and welcome to Ireland! They offered us a beer, and we could eat some delicious fish and chips!

21/04/2025: Lovely little pick-me-up at Esquires! Grabbed an Americano with oat milk and a slice of their Pistachio & Raspberry loaf — and for just €7, it felt like a real treat. The coffee had a rich, bold depth that paired perfectly with the creamy oat milk, while the loaf was moist, nutty, and topped with a hint of fruity zing from the raspberry frosting. Great quality, cozy vibes, and a solid bang for your buck. Would absolutely swing by again!

13/04/2025: I loved everything! The service was wonderful. They made me one of the best sandwiches I've had in my adult life on their beautiful sourdough (excuse the mess I made of it in my photo while eating it!). The matcha latte was great and the bakes were all superb. Lots of nice treats to enjoy here- homemade granola, overnight oats, breads, all sorts of bakes, soup, sandwiches, crisps, preserves... So happy to stop here on my journey ☺️ Thank you ❤️

02/04/2025: First time having this chipper and definitely won’t be back. Fish and chip meal, quarter pounder meal and bacon cheese burger meal for 39 euro. Disgraceful size burgers actually couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the bag! . This looked like it was a kids meal. Bacon tasted awful like it was sitting for days. As well as the appearance looking funny. Only ok thing was the fish and at that the portion size wasn’t good. They put all food in the same bag aswell and didn’t separate the chips which is very annoying. Very disappointing

29/05/2025: Review: ⭐☆☆☆☆ One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a takeaway. There was no greeting, no “hello” or “what would you like to order” — nothing. I stood waiting while the staff completely ignored us. The first interaction came only when my pregnant girlfriend, needing to use the bathroom, politely asked if it was available. The woman in the blue puffer jacket — who seemed to be doing deliveries and taking orders — responded rudely, asking if we were going to order food, with a tone that was standoffish from the start. When I did place my order, she was pushy, impatient, and dismissive, especially when I asked about dietary requirements. Rather than offer help or show any understanding, she acted like I was being a nuisance. On top of that there was clearly onion in the curry sauce as It caused upset stomach within 30 minutes of eating. We left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Definitely won’t be returning.

21/07/2025: Ordered the Venezia pizza, it was soggy - clearly undercooked. They got the toppings all wrong, it comes with salami but they put some nasty thick sausage on it instead, and cubed white onion (should have been thin sliced red onion) it was disgusting. The chicken tenders are poor quality, they're very small and chewy.

17/07/2025: This is the best chinese take away in Cork. Another hidden jewel in the city. You get 1 liter of coke for free when you spend over €50 euros and you get the shrimp crackers too! I always order take away here specially if Im tired already. As their tagline says Your Dinner… We Cook!!! They have affordable menus that you can choose from. All are made to order so it’s a guarantee that the food is hot and fresh! It would usually take them 10-15 minutes to prepare your order but it’s definitely worth the wait as it’s freshly prepared and cooked! Surely worth a visit when you are craving for chinese food. It’s my go to place when I think of Chinese food. Definitely worth a visit!

14/07/2025: Order through just eat at 10:15 was supposed ti be delivered at 11:15 half an hour goes by and in app it says delivered no way to contact them just eat help couldn’t contact them thank god I chose to pay cash or wouldn’t see the money again

28/06/2025: Just had the worse food ever here this evening, first placed order the girl asked did I want everything on regular burger ,as I replied yes ,the order was regular burger meal, 1/2 pounder ,taco fries ,breast of chicken 2 drinks. We waited 30 minutes with everone that came in after gone with food etc .regular burger came with ketchup is that everything on burger and all the food was cold .3 young people working there then man came in with bald head i think owner no manner by anyone in there he could see our order was 30min because I had to call the young boy and ask was it nearly ready we were waiting 30 min so he went in and said it ,not impressed by service as I managed a fast food restaurant for 20 years myself in kerry I am fuming, they need to change things for a tourist resort.
