23/08/2025: Morning, 10am, first time in Dublin, nice view over river. I don’t recommended decaf latte…burnt coffee taste, maybe regular coffee taste better. My other first regular coffee at another place tasted better. Tables looks clean, but my wife use bathroom and confirmed is the worse..as other people already post.

11/09/2025: Prices have gone through the roof here. Chicken Wrap cost me €9...and if you add a sauce to your chips it can't be a meal, so they charge you more again! Food is lovely, but €19 for a takeaway lunch is just mad!

10/09/2025: All I wanted to do was have a nice mc Donald’s on a Wednesday and the bloody drive through was closed I am thoroughly upset and when I went in to ask the employees why it was closed the got very rude and angry at my and said “is it really that hard to get out of your car” I’m really not happy with the service and would not recommend this mc Donald’s to anyone

25/05/2025: Parked in the car park out the back. Went into Chalks with a load of mates. Spent a fortune in there. Came out and car clamped. Why is Chalks clamping their own customers. Insane. Won’t be going back.

09/06/2025: Full-time, one-year Master of Science in Cloud Computing at the National College of Ireland. As an international student with prior experience in cloud computing, I had high expectations from this course, expectations that, unfortunately, have not been met. The overall course delivery has been disappointing. Most of the lecturers teaching cloud computing lack both effective teaching methods and depth in subject matter. The assessment pattern is heavily focused on pen and paper exams, which require students to reproduce content word for word from the course materials. Creative thinking or expressing answers in your own words is not encouraged and is often penalized. This completely undermines real learning and practical application, which is essential for a field like cloud computing. Even though students invest a lot of time and creativity in their projects, the evaluation gives disproportionate weight to exams. Projects, which reflect hands-on skills and real understanding, are sidelined in favour of rote memorization. Thesis selection has been a painful process. Many students, including myself, have been pressured to choose topics preferred by the lecturers or ones they are already familiar with, rather than being allowed to explore areas of personal interest. This has caused significant frustration and stress among the student body. Many students have even failed their thesis due to lack of proper support and restrictive guidance from supervisors. Some lecturers, particularly those handling Machine Learning modules, are dismissive and unapproachable. They insist that only the exact content from their material be reproduced, disregarding alternative explanations or deeper understanding. This rigid mindset hampers student growth and discourages independent learning. To be very honest, pursuing Cloud Computing at NCI has been a regrettable experience. The program is not aligned with the demands of a future-driven technology like cloud computing. The lecturers, rather than enabling learning, often act as a barrier. I do not recommend this course to international students, especially those seeking practical knowledge, academic freedom, and proper support during their studies.

28/06/2025: Disgusting! Absolutely horrendous! Waiter had no clue what he was doing. Had to ask for drinks twice. Asked us if we wanted our bill after our starters before even bringing mains. 50% of our order completely missed off and didn’t receive. Chicken in all dishes was rubbery and inedible, like it had been frozen for 6 months and reheated. Complained and left. Didn’t offer any discount to compensate. Completely overpriced. DO NOT GO HERE!

27/06/2025: Expensive takeaway, small portion sizes (containers half full) Quality of food was not good - rubbery chicken. Missing items, rice forgotten. Bad spicebag - no flavour and only a few pieces of small chicken. Would not get again.

10/08/2025: The food was okay overall. The rice was a bit undercooked, and the pork tasted quite standard — nothing special, but not bad either. .

09/08/2025: They were out of pearls, so I accidentally ordered the popping pearls, which were not tasty... The milk tea was super hot, and the large cup was 5.8 euros.

02/10/2024: My go to when I’m meeting friends for lunch - such a great atmosphere to the place with the friendliest staff who are so helpful. Food is always delicious and I have eaten there a lot, never once have I had a bad experience. Very reasonable pricing as well. Great service and an amazing local business.

23/08/2025: First time in this pub. A friend's band 'The Tango Lizards' were playing there in July 2025. Turned out to be a great spot. Very big bar and nice evening. They're playing again in this pub in September 2025 and we'll be back.

24/06/2025: My friends and I attended a Tea Class with Jenna, and it was such a fun and educational experience. Jenna was so engaging and knowledgable, we learned so much, tasted some amazing teas, and loved every minute! Thank you Jenna, you're a star!

30/08/2025: The food was not fresh, after one try I left the plate and left, my girlfriend's soup tasted like water with soy sauce, I do not recommend it

16/08/2025: Been a few times but today was not a great experience. So ordered a spice bag NO veg. When order was ready went to collect it had veg. Lady asked could they just pick out the veg to which I responded with no because of allergic issues. While looking in the glass I witnessed a team of two cooks picking out said veg. If you have allergies stay away from this place due to them not caring about the customers health. Shocking practice folks lucky my son was hungry and ate it for me.
