24/04/2025: Last Friday (18th April), I went with a friend to the party, unfortunately a very drunk guy started to bother us insistently, so we had to tell him that we were girlfriends but he kept bothering us, after that he forced me to give him a kiss (2 times) to which I just pushed him, there was no security staff around, then I asked for help to a guy who works there (floor staff) and between so much noise and my anger, I could only explain to him that the other guy was bothering us and forcing us to give him a kiss, to which he just laughed and replied "then kiss him" and left laughing, I find this very serious because he works there, and it was really a very uncomfortable moment in which we asked him for help. Minutes before we had seen on the screen that you have a policy to be a safe place and against harassment, this was clearly not seen or demonstrated by your staff. I really hope that you will train and coach your staff to be able to respond and help efficiently in these situations. We really enjoy going to River Bar for the music but with these situations, we will no longer recommend them as a good and safe place for women. (This is not the first time this has happened or that I have seen a situation like this, I always try to help girls who are in this situation).

08/06/2025: Dear owner? I ordered a bowl today and had a truly embarrassing time, disappointing experience. The staff put a half portion, Ive asked them to add more chicken, kale & lettuce and there was hardly any on my plate. They asked for the manager in blue dress. With an arrogant tone she said we never give bigger portion which is a lie, and she kept being arrogant. I ate there before & in Dublin other locations. This place just became unpleasant with a rude & outspoken staff who are causing a very bad experience for customers. Especially the food portions are under critical level for this price. Where is the old staff? I will never be back, please consider alternative food options in Kildare village!

13/07/2025: Strictly Not recommended. We have ordered family mix meal for 26€ and when we get its made already and food isn’t fresh when we request to change chicken piece they said its the last one we have. We ask them to give us anything fresh in exchange they give us chicken strips and same no fresh made. It was look like made yesterday. Then we almost binned everything. We have chicken strips left and we requested again to change and then they gave the same one re-fry. It was a bad experience.

04/07/2025: I enjoy the food here, but twice now, as in the last two times I've gone here - there have been small bone fragments in my food. Last week I ate and had a a tiny piece of bone stuck in my gum afterwards, which was difficult to remove; and today, now I have a fragment stuck in my throat for tha past 3 hours, which I have no idea how to remove. This is really basic quality control, and I can't be only one if it's twice in two weeks. Very unhappy.

27/06/2025: First time getting here tasted lovely got chicken curry, took a bite into something hard which didnt look like it should be in it. Took it back over showed it to the man behind the counter very helpful the cooks not very much.The cook said its a shell from seafood which on the menu says no seafood crustaceans. The cook snapped it in half to get rid of what I had as I wanted to keep it as I said. Offered me something else to eat asked for a refund I got that.

08/02/2025: Index is gone. The security staff, who many people have mentioned before, were an issue. I was there with my girlfriend and had a bean bag with me. One of the bouncers jokingly called it a "lady bag" and kept laughing at me. I didn’t want to argue with him because I knew he wouldn’t let me in after, but honestly, some basic customer service would be nice. I paid for my ticket, which helps pay their wages, so a little professionalism isn’t too much to ask. I get that they don’t need to be geniuses, but hiring staff with at least some common sense and a professional attitude would go a long way. The security checks also feel more intense than at an international airport. And maybe try opening on time? We know you’re the only club in Dublin, so we don’t have many options, but this is Ireland—it’s windy, and it rains. Standing outside for an hour in that weather is enough to make anyone sick. I used to love Index, not gonna lie.

01/02/2025: Mind the bouncers, they will sack you for the minimal reason or not let you go in if you arrive late doesn't matter if you have the ticket already.

29/05/2025: Terrible place. Getting my food and told it was cash only. No indication anywhere that they are a cash only place. Food is nothing special on top of that. Don't go there.

26/06/2025: I’m genuinely shocked at how poor the service was at Milano’s in Mahon Point. I had a table booked for 6:45pm for a dinner with friends. We arrived on time, but were left sitting there for 25 minutes before anyone even came to take our order — despite repeatedly trying to get the waitress’s attention. She blatantly ignored our table, while attending to others who came in after us. When we finally ordered, we asked for two starters and two pizzas. The starters took another 25 minutes to arrive, and we waited over an hour — with still no sign of the pizzas. At this point, we noticed that other tables who arrived much later than us had already been served and had even finished their meals. When I approached the manager, it became painfully obvious that our pizza order had simply been forgotten. What made this entire experience even worse was the complete lack of accountability or apology from any staff member. No one checked in with us, no one apologised for the wait, and no one seemed remotely bothered by how poorly we were being treated. The attitude from the team was dismissive and indifferent at best. This was meant to be a relaxing dinner with friends — instead, it turned into a frustrating, disappointing and frankly insulting experience. I’ve never felt so undervalued as a customer. I will never return to this location again and will actively discourage others from wasting their time and money here. Milano’s Mahon Point — you seriously need to revisit what customer service is supposed to mean.

25/06/2025: Had a lovely lunch with family at this Milano. Great food, great service, great value, and Paul and V took great care of us! Love the spoons (injoke, but they’ll get it!) 😃

05/07/2025: The impressions from visiting this place are not the most pleasant. There are no prices on the menu, which is strange. Not all drinks are translated into English. The table with napkins is dirty. It is obvious that the staff has difficulty serving a large flow of customers. Judging by the taste, appearance and execution of bubble tea, its price is too high.

30/05/2025: I've never tried anything other than the standard pizza, burger and baguette meals but they've always been very good. Fantastic spot to grab a quick lunch and on the lower end price wise compared to anywhere else nearby.

17/06/2025: I like to go here every now and then for a sweet treat. A few weeks ago I entered the restaurant just before closing. I was served by a lovely girl called Rachel. I asked if there were any cookies left. She took a look and said there were 2. I said I'd love to have them thanks. A manager in the vicinity commented that I was very nice and told me I was probably their customer of the day. Which I found very nice. As Rachel was grabbing me my cookies, she said that a few more just became available and asked me if I'd like some more. I said I'd take another 2 if possible please. So she handed me 4 cookies. I grabbed my card to pay but she told me that it was okay I could have the other 2 for no extra charge. She wished me a wonderful rest of my night then. I asked her, her name and promised to leave her a good review. Thank you Rachel and her manager for putting a smile in my face and treating me so kindly. I very much appreciate it and I look forward to popping in again soon. Excellent service all round. I highly recommend 👌
