The best restaurants

03/09/2026: We went here because it was a bit of a novelty to see a McDonald’s in such a historic building. It was entertaining but a little sad. The staff was super friendly and the bathrooms were clean.

31/08/2026: I ordered food from McDonald's it was cold when it arrived I'm not impressed I definitely won't order again disgusting food

25/02/2026: Got a spice box for 12.50, expecting a large box. The box was around the size of my hand and contained very little food. Extreme waste of money not worth 12.50. A spice bag has more

01/01/2026: We ordered a Chinese at 9:20 and they delivered to the wrong address , the lady who received the order rang us and told us that they received our order. We rang again and told them we want our food and they told us they’d make us a fresh order then they attempted to go back to the house and try get the food that was already delivered . This is extremely poor service we had to ring again and tell them that we’ve been waiting 2 hours and they were saying it’s not our problem: this is ridiculous.

31/07/2026: I found a strain of hair in my pizza, I threw up, I only ate 4 slices. I threw up on the bed

27/07/2026: Great food! The queu was big because its so good but it didnt take long to come anyways! I would highly recommend this place.

24/07/2026: Great place to have Italian pizza.. Warm friendly staff.

08/07/2026: This place looks a bit dirty. The staff are friendly, but what really put me off was that when the girl started making the pizza, after being on her phone, she didn’t wash her hands or wear gloves before touching the dough. Phones carry thousands of bacteria—just think about it, you take them to the bathroom and everywhere else. 😩

06/09/2026: Ill never go to this Chinese again. They never gave me what I ordered. They completely changed the order to what i actually wanted. Ill never get food from here again. Worst Chinese ever

11/06/2026: Genuinely the best Chinese in Waterford, I couldn't recommend it more. The spice bags in particular are unbeatable, but honestly everything is delicious. The staff are extremely polite and welcoming and the shop is always pristine, never had a bad experience there!

30/12/2025: A surprisingly quiet place without much footfall during a busy night. The chips were fine, but not freshly cut or prepared.

26/08/2025: I can't eat more than a bite. Got the spice bag, the thing was DRENCHED in sauce. Bits of something ( genuinely don't know what it was) were charred black. The box was nearly falling apart with the sauce. I tasted the sauce it was absolutely disgusting. So so salty just completely inedible.

28/09/2026: I got a chicken sandwich meal and it was very moreish.

06/09/2026: Just chaotic and the staff are far from great they dont know what they are doing it also takes over 30 minutes for me to get the food and the food is not great and whenever you try to talk to the staff about why the food is taking so long it is so chaotic and they only tell you it will be out soon .Even when they give me the food they forgot two drinks which i was very upset about as i only realised in the car .Would not come here again its the worst place for food in park ri.

06/09/2026: So good!! Spice bag was incredible!!! We shared a spice bag

03/09/2026: A place to eat quickly, the breaded chicken is very tasty and they don't serve alcohol in the restaurant, fast delivery of the order.

14/04/2026: Yummy food fast service and huge size too! plenty space to sit around they have halaal certificate which is a plus plus ❤️ definitely coming again and will recommend my asian friends too !

22/06/2026: Ordered a simple chicken and ham pizza. Just chicken and ham. Two toppings. A mission so straightforward even a 3 year old child could probably manage it. After waiting nearly an hour, my pizza finally was ready but came looking like it had picked up a few hitchhikers along the way. Somehow onions and mushrooms had joined the party completely uninvited. I wasn’t aware Four Star Pizza had a “surprise topping lottery,” but apparently I won. The pizza itself wasn’t bad, but by the time it was ready, I was considering filing a missing persons report. If I’d wanted mushrooms and onions, I’d have ordered mushrooms and onions. Instead, I ordered chicken and ham and got the director’s cut.

17/05/2026: The best pizza we’ve ever had! Absolutely unreal — fresh, flavorful, and always perfectly made. You can really tell they put care into every pizza. Special thanks to the staff as well — super friendly, polite, and always in a great mood. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

29/03/2026: I used to be a very loyal customer of Costa Portarlington but now going forward never again I will go back and support this business after today. I went in today and went to go to the counter to get a coffee and scanned my Costa app on my phone and the staff member (her name Sakunrat) told me the item I was getting was free today as I had a coupon. Now I began to question her why did I have a coupon as they never normally give out free drinks just like that, and she didn’t explain to me and told me it was free. So I completed the sale and asked for a receipt just to make sure but little of my knowledge the only reason why it was free because she used it against all of my loyalty card points. I was unaware of this and neither would’ve I consented for this to happen as I was saving up those points for a day I might need them. I was left in absolute distraught and anger after this had happened. I was a very loyal customer of Costa Portarlington and I will assure you I will never support this business anymore until this disgusting behaviour is sorted.

22/07/2026: I really really like my big cheese pizza 😃

22/07/2026: My friend robert got the big cheese pizza and jaden liked it and i also liked it 😘🌚😉

11/07/2026: I have never seen a garlic chips with cheese like this, chips quality also not good. I don't recommend this place

28/06/2026: I ordered a portion of onion rings for 3.50 and got a huge handful of chips and 6 large onion rings!! 3.50 for comparison this same meal cost 8.50 in Dalkey. €3.50 what a chipper

19/08/2026: My €12.50 “mix kebab with no veg” a handful of days old rubber, a naan that was left behind a radiator for a week ,and no sauce, after a hour of waiting ,never again ,disgraceful

28/07/2026: Undoubtedly the best Indian food outlet in Ireland. Feels like home
