The best restaurants

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .

04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

17/08/2025: A fantastic place to eat, especially for breakfast or lunch. We've been coming here for the last 10 years every 6 months or so, on our trips to Kerry. The food is always so fresh and they update the menu regularly so always something different. The Buddha bowl and prawn tostada on our last trip was delicious. Good vegetarian options are always available. Price is relatively good and the service is always great. We'll be back again soon 👍

19/12/2025: I got a spaghetti carbonara takeaway last night, 18th Dec 2025. After a few bites, which were so tasty, I found a very dark hair along with a grey hair. I am absolutely disgusted and sickened by this. I will never go there again

08/12/2025: Once a week I always get a 16 inch special it’s fantastic value comes to the door within 20 minutes and always good quality and piping hot so happy they are making it work in the scenario the industry are in and doesn’t taste generic like other takeaway joints taste real and you can taste the compassion and care

05/12/2025: I visited the Bagel Factory in the Omni Shopping Centre, Santry, and while the food and coffee were perfect, the customer service was very disappointing. Staff were holding a table for themselves while customers — including me — had nowhere to sit, and that table wasn’t even used the entire time I was there. One very young staff member seemed to be running around doing everything, while the two more senior staff members stood back and barked orders at her. It created a really unpleasant atmosphere. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t spend another euro there. The customer service needs serious improvement, both for customers and for their own staff.

21/02/2026: I recently visited your venue with friends and was informed by the security staff that we needed cash for entry. After taking the time to withdraw cash, we were then told that we could not be allowed in because we were “not known” to the staff. If the venue is restricted to Irish residents or regulars, this should have been communicated from the beginning. The lack of clear information resulted in unnecessary inconvenience and a disappointing experience. I hope this feedback helps improve communication for future visitors.

24/06/2025: Food is good , delivery completely unpredictable- can be 20 minutes or 120 minutes. They don’t use just app delivery drivers

20/02/2026: Money thrown in the trash, rice dry as sawdust, chicken in the dish was raw. I do not recommend.

14/12/2025: I recently ordered for a collection last night I ordered outside online because I wasn't sure what to order just yet for 2 people as I waited for a good 20 minutes I look at the phone again to say it will be ready to collect at 3.45pm I asked the owner and he explained to me that it was done on the just eat app so he couldn't do anything about it the staff name was Omar I then stupidly asked is it OK to order a pizza or are they closed and he says sure what do you want I was intoxicated at the time but wouldn't you think he could give me my order that I asked for I was a loyal costumer they made some mistakes like this before but nothing this big.

11/10/2025: Got delivery of the Don Kebab pizza from apache youghal. Fast delivery but looks noting like the advertised pizza .. probably only 5 pieces of doner kebab on it... Still tasty but nowhere near as advertised

02/12/2025: I tried a spice bag for the first time. It was very heavily seasoned, which I enjoyed, although I can see how others might think it was too much. The price felt slightly high, but I'm not from the area, so it may be reasonable. That said, the portion was extremely large, enough to feed two people. I appreciated how the restaurant used foil packs and a foil lined bag, to help keep the food warm.

01/11/2025: Took two hours for delivery to arrive. The last delivery we got took one hour thirty minutes to arrive. Could not get through by phone to query where delivery was. Driver who arrived needs a lesson in customer care. Avoid if you are hungry. There are better takeaways in area.

10/01/2026: Jaysus this is serious pizza. Im eating it now and its delicious. Wonderful spicy vegetarian flavours

09/01/2026: Ordered a couple of pizzas and chips. We were told delivery would take 45–60 minutes. After an hour we rang to check and were told it would be with us in 10 minutes. We had to call again after that, at which point the person on the phone became very rude and just said it was on the way. The food arrived after 1 hour 25 minutes. The pizza was only warm and the chips were cold and unpleasant. Poor communication and poor food quality. Definitely won’t be ordering again.

16/09/2025: Two years later I still remember it. Go to Spudlane instead.
