23/07/2026: I ordered gluten free food for delivery, which is hard as a coeliac but the woman on the phone was so friendly and made me feel very safe about my order. She assured me the kitchen will do it separately. I didn’t get sick. Perfect place for coeliacs, I even got to have the popidoms! 10/10 would recommend.

13/06/2026: AVOID AVOID AVOID WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER SEEN... WATERY BUTTER CHICKEN NO TASTE 4 PIECES OF CHICKEN... SOGGY. NANN BREAD SOGGY UNCOOKED CHIPS.... 22/06/2026: Ordered a simple chicken and ham pizza. Just chicken and ham. Two toppings. A mission so straightforward even a 3 year old child could probably manage it. After waiting nearly an hour, my pizza finally was ready but came looking like it had picked up a few hitchhikers along the way. Somehow onions and mushrooms had joined the party completely uninvited. I wasn’t aware Four Star Pizza had a “surprise topping lottery,” but apparently I won. The pizza itself wasn’t bad, but by the time it was ready, I was considering filing a missing persons report. If I’d wanted mushrooms and onions, I’d have ordered mushrooms and onions. Instead, I ordered chicken and ham and got the director’s cut.

17/05/2026: The best pizza we’ve ever had! Absolutely unreal — fresh, flavorful, and always perfectly made. You can really tell they put care into every pizza. Special thanks to the staff as well — super friendly, polite, and always in a great mood. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

15/06/2026: I got a beef chow mein here a few months ago and it was slimy and tasted like fish. So last week i wanted chinese food and thought i’d play it safe with chicken balls chips and curry sauce, and vegetable spring rolls, my meal came to €17 i gave her €20 and she gave me the food and i had to remind her there was change. I’ve spent the last two days with the runs since i had the food. Never again that was their second chance from me

06/05/2026: Ordered this evening the food came really fast delivery driver was great but the food came the chicken and chips were so hard had to throw in bin way over cooked rock hard rice and chicken balls nice tho

22/04/2026: I placed a phone and when I g When t home with it, it was wrong. When I called the girl said it was my fault because I ordered incorrectly. I asked would she change it she said no. I returned the order to the shop. STAY AWAY, shocking service and awful attitude.

23/07/2026: Ordered here and order turned up on time food was lovely the rice is done properly and the prawn crackers are lovely would definitely recommend this Chinese 👌🏻

09/07/2026: placed an order approximately 13.00, with an estimated time. While I understand that delays can happen for various reasons, the delay in this case was excessive. We waited an additional 15 minutespast the estimated time and then check on the status. We were informed it will be don’t shortly. However, by 35 mins there was still no sign of the order, which was quite frustrating. What concerned me most was the attitude of the female employee Anna who answered me .she was very rude and stated that the order will be ready now “when it needs to,” which I found unprofessional and inappropriate. Is this the standard of training provided to your staff? I believe this interaction should be reviewed, as the employee clearly requires further training in customer service and professionalism. While I understand that employees may not always be able to resolve delays immediately, there is no justification for speaking to customers in a disrespectful manner. I strongly recommend reviewing your staff training processes, as experiences like this will make sure you start losing out customers.

10/06/2026: Not bad in fairness quarter pounder and Donna kebab were small and poorly dressed. Loads of chips and they were very tasty. Shnack Box chicken was fairly good. Service friendly. I regularly get food from papalinos in bray and their food would be light years better than what's on offer in mountmellick. Still it's quite decent.

01/06/2026: Ordered over the phone. Informed about the allergies, first delivery gluten free in the wrap, offered another delivery, and delivered with chicken in crumbs. HSE HACCP training strongly recommended.

28/05/2026: I am sorry but the fresh cod and and chips and batter burger I got in here last week was just embarrassing. They should not be serving that to paying customers. €17 for the most pathetic piece of fish and burger I ever came across . Rock hard batter full of oil and it all just seemed like old food

16/04/2026: Got the crispy duck with garlic sauce to go and it was amazing! Enjoyed the chicken and sweetcorn soup as well. The owner of the store was also nice to recommend dishes to us to our liking.

25/11/2025: Ordered a pizza, and found a bone inside it. Chicken is always rock solid when I buy a chicken dish aswell. Wouldn’t recommend

10/06/2026: Ordered a collection over the phone of a mixed kebab just sauces ( that was correct ) and 2 potato scallops. The scallops were nice but the kebab was stone cold , not just the pitta bread but the contents . The guy who has broken English seemed to be struggling despite on myself and another guy in the takeaway heated it it in the microwave and was tasty but it should off been hot when I got it .

06/06/2026: Arrogant and rude. They deliver junk mail to your home, totally disregarding signs that specifically say, “NO JUNK MAIL” and make dogs bark and babies wake up from naps. They only care about themselves and not the quality of life of others in their own homes. Totally greedy, spammy business practices.

03/07/2026: Food is definitely just reheated, ordered a spice bag and the chicken was similar to chewing gum along with being cold, chips had next to no seasoning so would definitely avoid, I would suggest reducing portion size and concentrating on quality of food, no wonder its 3.2 stars......

03/07/2026: Ordered 2 spice bags, crispy trigons and duck spring rolls. Got vegetable spring rolls instead duck spring rolls! The chicken in the Spicebag looked and tasted like it was cooked this morning and reheated as did the chips, chicken was tough and food was clearly not cooked fresh! Spent nearly 50 euro! Ridiculous!

06/07/2026: I just got a delivery and I put non toasted and they gave me stale bread.
