15/05/2025: Asked for chicken burger, After waiting at least 15 min and very hungry I Was given another man’s double cheeseburger and he was given my order which he already started eating. When I got my order back it was wrong, I received a chicken breast sandwich when I ordered a chicken burger. Guy behind the till tried to tell me this is a chicken burger then the manager says we don’t do chicken burger here, seems to have a limited menu. I specifically ask for what I want in every supermacs if you don’t have what I’m asking for don’t serve me something else and think I won’t notice and if you are gonna try do that at least give the correct order to the correct person They refunded but I left hungry

11/07/2025: Wonderful restaurant! We went 2 nights in a row. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The spaghetti hits the spot every time, and the beef croquettes may be the best thing I’ve ever tasted - no exaggeration. Pardon the bite, we couldn’t help but dig in. Highly recommend!

17/07/2025: I have been using their service since they opened, in fact they were my go to take away. I very rarely make complaints, but I have recently found myself throwing more food out than eating. I purchased a pizza and chips a few weeks back, chips were fine pizza base was raw, I brought this up to them (and sent photos) and didn't even get as much as an apology. Again, I raised this to them, I was offered a replacement order that was burnt, everything on order. I said nothing. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered last week, and yet again it was burnt. This time I messaged again, and yet again I have not even received an apology. Obviously they can not take constructive criticism. I will not be using their service again, which is a shame because the staff seemed friendly.

21/04/2025: Second time Iv been and second time the chips are awful. Reheated chips, they must cook them in the morning and reheat. The fish also had the skin left on 🤷🏼‍♀️Our whole table said the same and not impressed. Especially for the price. It's the lazy option. The fish and chip shop down the road is much better where you get REAL chips!

02/07/2025: This was only my second time coming here and honestly, never again. The staff, especially management, are unbelievably rude. No basic manners. The food was disgusting: cold, sloppy, and missing items. I don’t know how this place has good reviews because my experience was honestly atrocious. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

17/06/2025: The Garavogue Bar never disappoints. There's always a great buzz, whether it's live music, a DJ, or a packed student night. Tuesdays during the college year are my favorite – they play proper techno and house, and the vibe is unreal. The staff are friendly, the cocktails are solid, and it's the kind of place you keep coming back to. One of my top spots in Sligo, hands down.

16/06/2025: The bouncers — both the bearded one and the older man — are aggressive, and the bar staff are completely unprofessional. The manager is just as bad, showing no regard for customers. They don’t respect the people who come in or even the promotions they advertise themselves. This place shouldn’t be allowed to stay open.

09/06/2025: Full-time, one-year Master of Science in Cloud Computing at the National College of Ireland. As an international student with prior experience in cloud computing, I had high expectations from this course, expectations that, unfortunately, have not been met. The overall course delivery has been disappointing. Most of the lecturers teaching cloud computing lack both effective teaching methods and depth in subject matter. The assessment pattern is heavily focused on pen and paper exams, which require students to reproduce content word for word from the course materials. Creative thinking or expressing answers in your own words is not encouraged and is often penalized. This completely undermines real learning and practical application, which is essential for a field like cloud computing. Even though students invest a lot of time and creativity in their projects, the evaluation gives disproportionate weight to exams. Projects, which reflect hands-on skills and real understanding, are sidelined in favour of rote memorization. Thesis selection has been a painful process. Many students, including myself, have been pressured to choose topics preferred by the lecturers or ones they are already familiar with, rather than being allowed to explore areas of personal interest. This has caused significant frustration and stress among the student body. Many students have even failed their thesis due to lack of proper support and restrictive guidance from supervisors. Some lecturers, particularly those handling Machine Learning modules, are dismissive and unapproachable. They insist that only the exact content from their material be reproduced, disregarding alternative explanations or deeper understanding. This rigid mindset hampers student growth and discourages independent learning. To be very honest, pursuing Cloud Computing at NCI has been a regrettable experience. The program is not aligned with the demands of a future-driven technology like cloud computing. The lecturers, rather than enabling learning, often act as a barrier. I do not recommend this course to international students, especially those seeking practical knowledge, academic freedom, and proper support during their studies.

02/07/2025: Very poor dine in offering. Ordered the only special advertised in the window which drew me in. Chicken Biryani mainly plain rice with 2 small pieces of chicken hiden underneath. Served in a cold bowl on a cold plate. Advertised at 12 euro charged 15.95, raised this to be told only for takeaway, not stated anywhere and picture shows dish in ceramic bowl. Informed the waitress this was false advertising, she thanked me for letting her know still overcharged. Drinks on the menu not available also.

27/05/2025: Very good service and very delicious food..

05/07/2025: Everytime you order from this mcdonalds they forget items from your order. Today we ordered pancakes and an egg mc muffin. We paid for both online but we only received an egg mc muffin. Tried calling the mcdonalds restaurant so we could get the pancakes. Called 3 times, no answer. Really poor customer service and quality control. In the end we had to call just eat and they gave us a refund, which is better than nothing but I was honestly hungry and mcdonalds should just give what you order.

29/05/2025: Terrible place. Getting my food and told it was cash only. No indication anywhere that they are a cash only place. Food is nothing special on top of that. Don't go there.
