The best restaurants

31/10/2025: Brilliant takeaway in river valley, has the best red tofu curry, not even vegetarian but this has become my favorite dish, it's so well prepared and the tofu cooked to perfection. The staff members are polite and friendly. The food is still piping hot even 10 minutes after walking home with it. Amazing all around 🔥🌷👍

04/10/2025: Neighbour got prawns on Friday the 3rd..stinking..gone off,my daughter got food here today Saturday the 4th( I did not know she was ordering from there),green with food poison..stay clear...

18/09/2025: Google says open until 21.00. Arrived at 20.25 and closed.

18/09/2025: Not due to close until 21:00 got there at 20:15 and closed, lots of cars pulling in to get takeaway and shut !!! Very disappointing as too late to go to shop everything closed.

11/10/2025: Got a Spice Bag, Chicken Balls and a Curry sauce. While the food did taste ok the quantities were on the small side. We counted 7 pieces of chicken in the spice bag and the 5 Chicken balls were also on the small side, probably 60-70% of the usual size of a Chicken ball. Curry sauce was also in a smaller size cup. Spice bag was €10.50, probably the most expensive price I have paid for a spice bag so was disappointing to see they skimp on portion size. Prices should be cheaper to reflect the smaller portions as it lack any real value for money.

02/09/2025: The kebab was the sloppiest thing where you couldnt pick it up or eat it . The smallest amount of salad was placed in it and the lettuce just went slimely under the meat. There was so much sauce I thought it was melted cheese at first. Portion size small .Standards and food have massively dropped .

03/08/2025: Order a donor kebab and chicken kebab last night kabab was OK the chicken kabab came like like thick krona chichen slices horrible for 11euro each rip off never again

12/07/2025: Ordered Tandoori chicken, Chicken pakora from there. Tasted awful, Don't recommend

01/09/2025: This Pub was a great place for decades until March 2025 when it was sold . New owner loaded everywhere with speakers and Stupid Loud bands now play on Fri , Sat and now Sunday evenings make it an unbearable place , the remaining Lounge punters gather around the front door and outside the toilet area to shield themselves from the noise . Disaster of a place . Avoid .

23/08/2025: No food available but will be undergoing changes and food my be available then. Great service and friendly atmosphere

23/11/2025: It took more than 30+ minutes to prepare the fries. Definitely not recommend the place.

12/11/2025: Quality very poor! Ordered the family chicken box . It’s supposed to have 6 pieces of chicken when I got home there we’re only 3 😩 and what was in it was dried out tasteless and obviously cooked for ages the chips were no better they had been cooked for ages and certainly not fresh. It’s too expensive to be getting only half what u ordered . Will not be ordering again. Quality very poor.

07/08/2025: Nice pleasant café. Bright and airy. Pleasant staff. Mainly coffee and pastries. A selection of 3 pre made sandwiches. So not the place for lunch. Please provide a relish or pickle for the very plain sandwiches. That would really help. Especially at 9euro each. Some nice cushions would really be appreciated. Both the plastic chairs and wooden couch seats are very uncomfortable. Thanks

25/05/2025: a place where you can drink a nice coffee and feel comfortable. Clean and high quality. The staff is friendly and warm. If you want to get your coffee and start the day positively, this is the right place for you. Thank you

03/08/2025: Person that takes the order complains mid-call about her not understanding English, rudely hangs up the phone on demand. Had to ring back just for the orders price..

26/05/2025: Ordered a spice bag, grand. Asked for a small curry sauce and was told "no". Only big curry sauce... Experience felt rude and customer service wasn't nice, food was so so, overall, nowhere near a good experience. (Food made me feel sick after)

11/11/2025: Food is good, service for take away ok but service in the restaurant very poor, it has change a lot in the years, waitress wasn't friendly at all and a bit rude explaining about the dishes. I wouldn't go in the restaurant for dinner.

09/11/2025: Nov 2025 got a takeaway and the food was a better, but the staff are very unfriendly and not welcoming (like i was distrubing them, if its open at 1 then should be open and ready) I had a 30 euro voucher and it came to 30.80 and because i had no money i had to tap for 80c and then didnt even get prawn crackers _______________________________________________________________ Horrible overpriced food that you'd cook better yourself Noodles thrown in the bottom of the box then grey chicken and other rubbery meat with a watery syrup poured over it Chicken skewers like chewing on leather, though and burned Threw most of it in the bin, better to go a chipper at least twice for the same cost as this over priced rubbish Avoid avoid avoid

16/05/2025: One of the worst pubs I've ever frequented. Coffin sized with a pool table dominating the bar that nobody plays. Located beside a sad strip of shops and frequented by aul lads sitting at the bar nursing a Guinness. 0 atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend. Far nicer bars around with a bit of life. *edit* to add to the sorry state of affairs the Takeaway operating from their kitchen is the same brand as the one in Smithfield that got closed down recently for 'fecal matter on the walls' amongst other appalling food violations. Just look it up and don't get a curry 😒

21/06/2025: Food was amazing, it is takeaway only but they have a little nice room that you can eat in. Very cozy and the food is amazing for a good price. We ate the 2 people pack and it was really good. Will come again!

23/07/2025: ordered of just eat for collection by mistake, rang them they told me they can't cancel I'd to do it myself 3 of us trying to cancel we couldn't, rang us when it was ready asked if I got it sorted and if I wanted it delivered, got it delivered nearly 50 euro and missing 2 portions of pancakes for the kids and their not answering their phone

25/06/2025: Excellent staff with attention to detail . Food is always prepared fresh and with a smile . Delivery options available aswel. Highly recommend

15/11/2025: The chicken balls were amazing and fresh However.... Never in my life did I have a spice bag THIS salty. I couldn't finish the food 😔 The chicken pieces were also old and chewy. Just no. The curry sauce portion was pretty alright at least. I'm going to go drink some water now.
