31/08/2025: I understand this is only a 3-star hotel, but they barely meet the standards of a motel. Super rundown beyond the lobby (not just old). Housekeeping is excellent considering they can only do so much. Desk staff were polite, though they lacked initiative and weren’t particularly helpful. First thing you’ll notice is the old musty smell and paper-thin walls. The guest next door woke me up using the bathroom. I even heard the clicking of him texting before his shower. Thankfully, I was on the top floor. Several advertised “amenities” were misleading and missing. They had like five parking spots in their “lot,” so you are expected to pay for parking down the street. Unable to provide a charging adapter as agreed, but sold me a used charger for $10 USD. The room itself could barely hold a double bed and offered no basic necessities besides the watered-down soap pump on the wall. Guests are also not permitted to have a friend wait in the room. They have to wait outside, which feels unnecessarily restrictive. $185 USD (discounted through booking online) for a 10hr stay, I at least expected a complimentary bottle of water or a room that didn’t reek of the 50s. I hate how negative this review is, but this hotel only aims to take every penny they can. Charging me for a used charger (visible scuffs on the metal) when all I needed was an adapter? Did another guest leave that behind? Save the “thanks” comment for the next review. It’s nonchalant and directly shows that you don’t care. Yes, it’s a business, but do better.

09/05/2025: Got a burger here late last Friday night, super tasty but my word, it was literally thrown into a large brown paper chip bag, when I opened it upon arriving home I had to reassemble it like a piece of IKEA furniture

19/02/2025: En: I didn't eat there because I went there at 10 p.m. and there was really dancing going on there. This is a good place if you want to dance with your friends. Penalty: The women's toilets can be hard to access. That's all. A logical penalty when you see how many people there are. It's also sad that it closes at midnight. Fr: I didn't eat there, so I can't rate the food. I arrived at 10 p.m. and there was already a lot of dancing. Also, the bar closes at 12:30 a.m., which is very early compared to France. It's a good bar if you want to dance with your friends, but the toilets are difficult to access. Which is normal when you see how many people there are.

23/08/2025: Been getting a take away from here for quite awhile now and I have to say this is the best Chinese in Drogheda! Their salt and Chillie chicken is amazing and some the old fashioned way, not just with that really salty salt shake put over it, special mention to Jodie who always answers the phone and her customer care is outstanding. Finally bit the bullet and went in for a meal last week, is t is the fanciest restaurant in town? No! Is the food amazing? Yes! And that’s all that matters when it comes to shelling out money for food. Give them a try! Also their curry sauce is amazing! Most Chineses these days has that lighter curry sauce that to me just isn’t a curry sauce. There’s is the old school darker coloured proper curry sauce! If you’re from Dublin you’ll know what I mean! 5 stars all round!!

18/08/2025: Oh Oscars, you silly munchkins. I ordered food last night while hangry and when I got home and opened the bag. The order was wrong, and I was just plain old angry. Opened up the containers. 1st on, Doner kebab, kind of like what I asked for. Salad but no onions. In Oscars if you don't want onion your not deserving of any salad. "Im keeping the leafs for myself" is what i imagine the chef said. Who actually lives under the humans hat and just controls him like the little Rodent in Ratatoullie. Ya know the fun family Disney movie. 2nd container, a doner wrap with chilli and garlic ... but it was a wrap with a load of doner meat thrown on top of it.. a "DIY" wrap i suppose with just chilli sauce. 3rd and 4th containers... opened them up Curry Cheese chips, I ordered. Just curry and chips. However remembering the DIY wrap experience I just had, i thought Maybe they left the cheese in the bag, so like a lab rat we would have to work for our food. . I foraged the bag like a caveman looking for berries, alas no Cheese... Thanks Oscars for getting, the singular thing you are supposed to do, Wrong... and not just a small bit. But very. Boo

27/05/2025: The man that served me ( i believe he is the owner) was nice and polite. I ordered 2 small pizza deals take away. Pizza was nice but the chips tasted old and dry! I had to throw it away :/ Also, on their website the price is 8.50e per meal but I was charged 9 euro each! Small difference but I should be charged as per their price on the menu online!!!!!! I do not recommend!

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .

04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

22/03/2025: A great place to go get a drink and the wait for the drink is about 5mins or less is cost €5-€10 it is also very clean not really any dirt in the place

07/09/2025: Terrible experience. My first time here and they not only got our order wrong with stuff missing. But in the 7 mins we were there 3 other people had issues, with one girl having been charged €130 on her card instead of €13,and 2 other people getting wrong stuff. It's not a good service at'all. And to be honest, the food was below average. Will not be returning.
