The best restaurants

16/06/2026: Great Chinese. I been coming here alot recently. And I find the food very good and clean.

10/05/2026: Really nice food, tasty, clean, good portions, and a good price (though they are creeping up!). Staff are very friendly and service is usually very quick.

26/08/2026: Very over priced the staff are not friendly at all, quite rude in fact. Many times I’ve had food delivered with missing items and rang to complain. Owner apologised and didn’t offer any gesture for the missing items. I wouldn’t go there again or order from them.

13/07/2026: Terrible experience. The man that served us had no customer service skills. I was ignored repeatedly whilst trying to pay a revolut tag which I was unsure of, once I got the mans attention he grabbed the bag of food back as if I was going to steal it until he watched me click 'send money'. The food was bone dry and overpriced, will never go back.

25/06/2026: Very plane flavor, looks good presentation, but flavor is bad, lack of flavor, no salt, super plane, I don’t recommend and I am Mexican so very disappointed

21/06/2026: We ordered pork adobada tacos, chicken buldak tacos, and pork consume. It sounded good, but unfortunately spice and flavour were underwhelming. I appreciate the chicken was marinated (onion habanero xni-pek), but I personally didn't like the taste much. And it was missing fiery heat. Consume needed to pack more of a punch too, and was a little bland. Everything could have done with more seasoning. Service was good. You order and pick your orderup at the window. Atmosphere, well its in a pub which can be very full and loud. Depends on your preference. I do appreciate the food here compared to bar food.

02/08/2026: Absolutely worst matcha of my life. Not whisked they just put matcha flavor there from bottle like ketchup😭 I do not recommend. Also the coffee was very “sour”

25/07/2026: Was there with a friend this morning, ordered Chai latte and a fruit scone , staff didn't seem to know what they were doing and the supervisor quite rudely tapped the tray to ask what I had ordered. When I told her she was only short of rolling her eyes . The scone was as I asked heated but was so hard I didn't eat it. My friends latte had been spilled on her saucer and not even replaced. The chai was only lukewarm . I didn't complain as I had on a previous time but definitely the last time I'll order there

23/07/2026: Staff nice but slowest service. Saw loads of people come after me and get given their sambos before me. My lunch break is not long enough to wait this long for one bagel 😭😭

05/07/2026: No atmosphere, service is terrible, eventually left without ordering, not much of a system unless its just rude patrons that get served first.

22/08/2026: Have completely changed the menu and there isn't a real restaurant anymore. What a disappointment. Just a cafe

04/08/2026: Sad to see that this place has declined, Daddy’s used to be a great spot for breakfast or a take away coffee and pastry, but since reopening as the Day Cafe it’s just not the same anymore. I got a ham and cheese toasted sandwich for take away, which was not great. The sandwich was dry and not pleasant to eat, and the cheese overpowering in taste. The ham was tasty enough, but on the dry side too. It’s hard to get a sandwich wrong, and there are very few things on the menu, so I’m not sure what happened here - the old sandwiches at Daddy’s were tasty! The pastry selection also looked quite dry and not tempting at all, in the end I didn’t order any. However, my friend ordered a coffee (flat white) said it was decent. I hope they pull it together soon, it’s such a shame to want to support a local spot but not get value back for your money.

22/09/2026: Used to be the best in town only complaint is the food also the food isn’t as good as before due to the original owner sold the business to someone else hence the food quality going down hill. Same experience as everyone else raw chicken stale chips and gone off stuffing in the spring rolls usually I never do Google reviews just so disappointed this time I even got a new one after ringing them just the quality of food has gone down

09/08/2026: Best Chinese in Newbridge, portions are massive and full of flavour, never waiting around for the food either.

24/08/2026: Food is bland and staff is rude. I have no idea what i paid because they just shoved the card reader in my face and said nothing. An absolute unorganized mess. I sat and witnessed them be rude to every foreigner and over the top sweet to locals. The sign out front says "good vibes" (but only if you're local) This place sucks.

10/03/2026: Absolute kip of a place!!! Came in with some friends and was immediately turned off by the man behind the counter. He did not smile once or even greet us as we were paying at the till, he looked at the girls making our orders and asked them what I was having after I just told him. So rude and just turned me off the place altogether

27/09/2026: The big woman with the dublin accent kicked my mates out for sitting down, there was about 5 or 6 of us and 2 of us were eating. They kicked two paying customers out for trying to eat food. State of the place as well the restaurant itself is absolutely disgusting and the bathrooms are just as bad. The men's bathroom floors are sticky and covered in pee hire a janitor wallahi

14/09/2026: We were kicked out of here for having our dog. There's not a single sign on the door prohibiting dogs. The manager told me there was, but he obviously lied. This is the first time this has happened to us at a McDonald's in Europe.

28/05/2026: The price is expensive the drink is fair .the bathrooms are not clean I don't like the branch .

05/05/2026: I went here for a meeting and got a latte and a croissant. First the good, the staff was very nice and the lady who took my order was smiling and helpful. The croissant was heated in the oven instead of the microwave and was lovely. The coffee however was extremely disappointing. The latte tasted like a mug of steamed milk a little of coffee flavouring mixed in with a spoon. It did not seem that the barista had touched my coffee. I knew there was a reason why I don’t visit Starbucks and the coffee today consolidated that! If coffee is the main selling point, I expect a latte to have coffee in it not to just have crossed paths with coffee on the journey to my table!

01/08/2026: Absolute rip off. €4 for a small curry sauce that was like water. €8 for shredded chicken that had ZERO chicken. Fleecing people in this place

18/05/2026: Awful could not eat this food and was sick from what little I did. Spent 30 euros starter, main and a drink, All I could finish was the drink!!!

25/08/2026: Just got a Chinese from ocean and its the worst food I've ever gotten from the place, food is cold and the sauce lacks any flavour the chips are vile, tiny bit of sauce in the sweet and sour, not even eatable, last time I'll order something from here

27/07/2026: Every year I visit Ireland ans I just have to stop by Lee's for some Chili chips. It's good.
