The best restaurants

10/07/2026: I must say this place has gotten rather expensive and the quality just does not match the price. This used to be my go to Chinese takeaway but the last two times I ate from this place the quality was poor dish lacked flavour This was the place to go 5 years ago not so much anymore

18/03/2026: Ordered food for delivery and it took over 2 hours to arrive…. Came cold and soggy, when I called for any sort of information about it, the staff on the other end didn’t seem to care how long it been and didn’t even apologise.

22/11/2025: Used to like popping in when in Cork City but found the waitress unfriendly atmosphere just unwelcoming not a place i want to stay in and enjoy lunch so left without ordering.

14/11/2025: Had lunch in here today, the portions were very small for the price - much better value to be had in other cafes in the city. The staff were rude, and it felt as if we were inconveniencing them by being there. Would not recommend.

01/02/2026: I bought a meal and they messed up my order , then proceeded to make me pay extra for the order they messed up even though my meal would be cold by the time I arrived back home with the curry they messed up , shocking service

14/07/2026: McDonald’s as it should be, nice food and friendly service.

10/07/2026: One of the better mcdonalds I’ve been to. The food is hot 9/10 times, the staff are nice and patient and it’s usually a pretty chill place! The only complaint is that it’s quite dirty.

05/06/2026: I had chicken sandwich is over priced to be honest €9 something but I like there coffee latte I really recommend

13/05/2026: Bland flavorless beef , watery tasteless and texturless mash and a few soggy carrots ! And this constitutes a carvery in Kay’s ???? Awful . And then to be charged €19.95 for the privilege. Lesson learned I won’t be back .

28/05/2026: Went here for the Spice Bag, it was very overrated, walked out with a Bag of Chips with a little chicken. Very expensive! I will say this was my first experience with a spice bag, if this is what a spice bag is, Then I Absolutely do not understand where all the excitement about them comes from. My advice skip this, stop at Aldi get what you need and make it at home, I guarantee you’ll do better.

05/05/2026: Ordered a take away this evening as our normal Chinese was closed. I definitely won't be swapping over. Shredded chicken was rotten, really tough and stringy as was the second shredded chicken dish. Couldn't eat the chicken, ended up just eating the rice. Do not recommend.

13/07/2026: Visited This place yesterday and was very suprised with professional service of the staff. We order one pizza for children and one for our selfs and we got one extra pizza for children for free. That was very nice surprise. Thank you and i recomend four star pizza 100%

18/04/2026: I visited Four Star Pizza Dun Laoghaire today, and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had there! 🍕✨ I’ve been coming here almost every Saturday, but today’s visit was on a completely different level thanks to Deepak Sharma. His service was absolutely outstanding, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to create a great experience.

27/07/2026: Bought burgers and chicken curried chips. The burgers were horrendous. The curried chicken had a soapy taste. All four agreed about the soapy taste. Only went here because our regular chipper in Kilminchy are on holidays.

24/07/2026: Ordered a chicken curry and chips thinking it was being got from Francesco’s. Unfortunately they were closed so the lads went to this place. Had two mouthfuls and spat it out. Threw the rest in the bin!! Has to be the worst food I’ve tasted in a long time. Won’t be going back!!! 😡

29/05/2026: It's been awhile since I've ordered here, my last experience wasn't good and I was late home and not in the mood for cooking. I'd hoped it might have improved, alas, wishful thinking, had ribs and salt and chilli prawns to start, the ribs were terrible, nothing much in the line of actual meat on them and the bit of meat there was was way over cooked and hard.seems to have been in the oven for a week keeping warm. The prawns were a rock of salt, uneatable.my mains was flavourless as was my missus's, (beef black bean, and spicy shredded beef) Black bean sauce was just water, no taste whatsoever. Wife's. Beef was all super no spice. And it wasn't cheap to boot, never again

24/07/2026: My takeaway was packed in a torn paper bag that had been repaired with tape. The sticky side of the tape was inside the bag and came into contact with my food. I raised my concerns with the restaurant, but they didn't seem interested. I was disappointed with both the food packaging and the customer service.

05/06/2026: Food is good quality though Chicken Balls a little overdone. What is noticeable is the portion sizes (even the rice!) have reduced by, I'd say 20-25%, in recent months

21/02/2026: I went in 1:18AM to order a pizza but Mohammed said in the shop they are closed. My question is why advertise open until 1:30 AM if they don’t serve nearly 15 minutes before closing time. Even he doesn’t asked what I would like…. Very bad experience, I was a regular costumer. I never will go back!!!

15/05/2025: Wanted some Mexican and randomly came across this location as I was walking in the area. Service was pleasant, and there were a decent amount of options. Restaurant is a bit small, so if the local chavs aren't outside hogging the tables there's only a few places to sit inside. Felt like I got a good meal for the price paid, and it wasn't chain location glop.

28/04/2026: Have been buying food here for a number of years and have to.say the last 2 times the food has been very disappointing. On the last purchase a very simple 2 trays of curry chips, nothing complicated but yet the chips tasted half cooked and at most there was a tablespoon of curry sauce. Given the ongoing price increases its terrible that now even the sauce is being cut back on. Very disappointed
