The best restaurants

21/12/2025: Put in an order online. Payment was taken. Then the food didn't arrive. We rang. They claimed the order was "not on their system" even though we had an email receipt. Absolutely no help offered. They simply acted as if they didn't have to do anything to honor the transaction. I would strongly encourage people to go elsewhere.

03/12/2025: Best takeaway in Maynooth. Great menu, great food and good value.

21/02/2026: Meateor Pizza. It’s a lighter layer of BBQ sauce under a hefty mix of pork meatballs, ground beef, sausage, pepperoni, and smoky bacon. Basically a full-on carnivore choice with a tangy BBQ twist. It done the job and I look forward to trying something different next time.

08/12/2025: Nice food, good enough service. I have received incorrect orders/ orders with issues but usually it is up to par.

04/12/2025: Positive was loads of chips. Service was decent. Negative chicken fillet burger was very thin, basically no sauce on it, and lettuce was no fresh on burger either. Have had food from here a couple of times since no owners took over. Have left unimpressed both times.

19/10/2025: The worker was so rude to me I asked to pay with a ten and take a euro out of the twenty and she said I'm done with this shit and was super rude to me and the calls where hrendous I called 20 times and nobody answered this place is really bad don't come here

25/08/2025: I don't recommend their kebabs, there's barely any meat in them. It's cold and filled with just cabbage. Too salty and spicey as well. The service was grand.

03/12/2025: I didn't notice on the menu about halal food. I walked by the shop today at lunchtime and the meat was left outside in boxes with halal written all over the boxes. As a Christian I find this disturbing. Why would you feed us food blessed by another religion. I will never set foot in this shop again

14/02/2026: I should have known from the amount of bad reviews but I seen some good reviews so I thought I'd try here. Unfortunately, I didn't notice all those accounts only have one review. Such a pity they can't improve thier ingredients and service. I usually ask my tour guides on what is a good place to eat. Usually not a problem in England, Scotland and other destinations so far but here they told us "if dough bros queue is too long, it's just as good in Milan's." Well, I took the advice and me and the wife went in. I should have taken being ignored at the wait to be seated sign as a sign. Unfortunately I tried the food. The waiter, had a bad attitude. Mentioned people usually book. I told him I'm not from round here. Was wondering where the famous Irish hospitality is. We never did find it. Cold food and warm beer. My wife wasn't too impressed either, so we left. Luckily by then the line for dough bros was gone and so we got fed in the end.

11/03/2026: Never again going. My dad got food poisoning from chicken when he ate there a couple of weeks ago. To top it off, my friend and I pulled in there today to order a takeaway, and since we took longer than 30 seconds to exit the car, we got harassed by a worker saying that we need to leave because the area isn't used for general parking. She then threatened to do damage to my friend’s car if we didn't leave instantly. West Lake Asian Chinese best option in Limerick

05/03/2026: From the moment we entered we found a hostile environment (starred at with no answer to our "hello"), but for some reason we decided to stay. Got the menu and ordered a main dish, then asked for the dessert of the day and the server said "I'll tell you later, first order food", so I insist and explain I wanted to order at that time. After a back and forth explaining that we were sharing both, main and dessert (why should you have to explain your portions to someone!?), said that the main was enough only for 1 person, so I managed to just say "yes, that's fine" I was so done... food was okay-ish, but 10-15 min after finishing the main, didn't see anyone to order the dessert so we stood up to go pay and then she asked about the dessert, we said that we were ok and she was visibly annoyed. Just don't do this to yourself and avoid this place. Also, we both got a stomach ache

12/01/2026: spice bag beautifully seasoned but chicken is like chewing on me moths left tit after she got de implants,,, the chips were soggier than an aul ones ghee, appauling service. curry sauce is like a pot full of scuttery runny shite. and the chili was like blood after dropping a massive log from my hole. lady at the counter screamed at me and verbally abused me.

13/12/2025: Best Chinese in Dublin. I live in Kildare, if I am in dublin sometimes I will grab something and take it home. Have been getting takeout from here for years!

27/09/2025: €8:40 for two crap flat whites that were scalding hot and just dire.

05/06/2025: We had to explain what a rasher was. Then he took the order after 5 times we repeated the order. After all that he said "now wait" and started serving the next person.

21/11/2025: The food is really nice and the service is fast enough just a bit of a wait when others are in line. They charge 50c on orders under €10 which I don't find a problem frankly and the lady was really nice. Too bad the place is so small. Only seating for waiting as it is a takeaway

16/03/2026: It’s been 2 years since I stayed at this horrific establishment and I still think about how despicably they treat their guests. Avoid at all costs and STAY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE

11/03/2026: I only stayed one night at the hotel, and thank goodness it was only one. The receptionist was the only positive thing I could say; to be honest, the rest was terrible. Starting with the noise at night, even though I was on the third floor, it was like a hammer until 3 or 4 in the morning. The room was tiny, very small, and there was a chair blocking access to the other side of the bed. The bathroom needs renovation; it's very old and covered in silicone sealant. I was surprised to see the elevator so dirty and the floor in such bad condition—not what you'd expect from a hotel. I noticed some liquid residue in the corner the first day, and it was still there the second day. The worst part was the cleaning staff; they were completely rude. When I went out for breakfast, I greeted the one at the elevator doors, and she didn't even respond, just gave me a dirty look. When I left my room at 11:00 AM, I passed a different guest who didn't greet me. I won't be returning to this hotel. I chose it because it was the cheapest in Dublin, although that was long after the experience. In Spain, this hotel would be considered a hostel or a one-star hotel, although I must say there are hostels in Madrid that are better than this one. It could be a good hotel if they changed their concept and got rid of the pub at night, which I understand helps them make some profit. There were very few guests, and the few I encountered in the elevator were completely stoned with marijuana and reeked. The cleanliness and smell of the lobby were appalling. I'm sorry to write all this, but I'm doing it so you can improve and decide if you want a leisure or accommodation business, because both, as it's currently organized, are disastrous.

29/12/2025: Firstly, the location is incorrect on Google maps, it's located at Gate 102. Jump Juice at Terminal 1 of Dublin Airport is an excellent juice bar with a wide range of options available. Ordering is straightforward, either via the self-service screen or directly at the cashier. The juices are fresh, well prepared, and reasonably priced for an airport setting. Staff are friendly and efficient, making it a pleasant stop before a flight. Overall, a very good experience.

15/11/2025: The sizes keep getting smaller and smaller. As you can see in the picture, they don’t respect the proper sizing. The guy at the counter was not friendly when I asked why they don’t fulfill the correct portion.
