The best restaurants

21/04/2025: I went in and asked if I could have a kebab and chips. I was told by the man serving it was €9.50 for the meal. All I asked was "can I get it any cheaper if I don't have a drink as I don't want one" To then be told by him the drink is free and I said "nothing is free"He repeated it's free and laughed. He could of said it will still be the same price but he acted so rude. I asked for a kebab then, which on the website is €8 and he couldn't understand me. This was at about 7pm in the evening, not late at night. I speak fluent English born in ireland He must only still be open in claremorris as he is the only shop selling a kebab. Also on his website it shows lamb doner. Yet he didn't even have it. He is the weirdest person to serve me ever, does he want business. However I enjoyed a supermacs only a few doors along and won't be going back to him.

15/02/2025: In the middle of Claremorris town in a busy street, 3 tables and opposite facing benches inside if you like to eat it in,nothing fancy just basic seating. Food is made to order and fresh,taste average,they are happy to cater your choices like I asked for a kebab tray with out bread and chips. Prices are reasonable.

30/07/2025: Didn't get what was ordered a week ago, 2 of the 4 ingredients were ok, it was very greasy also. I complained & they asked what I'd like instead, got a special fried rice, they crammed it with so many shrimps , that there was barely any room for rice, a spiteful retaliation for the complaint, it's like they hoped to put me off shrimps for ever, & not a word of apology for wrong order either. We won't be going there again!

19/07/2025: Love the food here. My favourite Chinese takeaway of all. The curry sauce is perfection! Can highly recommend the crispy chicken with chilli. Friendly staff also.

19/07/2025: Got a takeaway away Thursday night. Rice tasted really weird and defo was old ! The beef is black bean was like rubber and the sauce was reheated . Even the chips tasted odd 🤢 tummy hasn't been right .only took a few bites and left rest

12/04/2025: The food is nice , but they really need to take a look at the sauces , they are like goo and really bland there’s no taste , we tried several different types of sauces and they are all the same , for a Chinese you need to get the sauces right and unfortunately it’s letting this Chinese down big time ,

08/07/2025: Possibly the worst chinese on the island. They used tinned spam for the ham fried rice. (Rice wasn't even fried) Chicken kung po was literally just water and cornstarch to thicken it. Curry sauce was gritty and rancid. Avoid at all costs.

27/08/2025: The woman who makes the sandwiches is super unfriendly. The price tags posted are a scam, but when they charge you much more, they charge you much more. I don't recommend it at all.

02/05/2025: Food is always great, we have been getting food from here for years. Great portion sizes and prices. Always let you adapt your order which is great for a fussy eater. The service is fantastic, the man on reception does a really good job very helpful, polite and great manners.

03/08/2025: Terrible bad food, chips were rubbery, they had a weird smell and were undercooked even the tiny ones had no crispness, the quarter pounder the closer you got to the center the more you taste and smell raw meat. this is up there with the worst eating experiences I've ever had, no exaggeration.

03/08/2025: Soggy chips and half cooked flat burger blended into a stale bundy. Just the worst chipper I've ever had. The garlic sauce tasted like vomit. 4 meals and all binned. Disaster.

23/04/2025: Food is nice if it arrives. Couldn't find my town address apparently. Prepare to be asked for extra money for delivery at the door too(if it arrives lol)
