The best restaurants

08/02/2025: Ordered from these, got confirmation, took my money , food never arrived and phone seems to be disconnected. Disgraceful robbing off people. If your shop is closed for whatever reason you should not be accepting online orders. I want my money back.

12/10/2024: Made an order online. Money was taken from my bank account straight away ...An hour and a half later, still no food. I'm trying to call the place but no answer. Shocking.. 50 euro down and no food never arrived.

25/11/2024: After 25 years as a loyal weekly customer, I have had enough. Repeated late, cold deliveries with items missing have broken any trust I had with this business. Save yourself the disappointment, there are plenty other options available locally.

19/11/2024: Just an edit to say. They ALWAYS Read the notes. Which is great when you have picky eaters 🤣 Food always nice. Cannot fault the chicken curry. A favourite of ours. And delivery is fast. My first choice for a Chinese takeaway 😊

31/01/2025: Driver couldnt find my place (even though we'd ordered a few times and provided the eircode), I told him where it was, he refused to go to the door, insisted we come out to him cos he said "thats bad lad ive been driving for ages", we didnt, but still very weird.

18/01/2025: Living in Arklow for a few years now, I really wanted to try apache pizza. Ordered 1 large pizza and a portion of wings. 55 minutes later (as we were told) we receive the order. The greasy chicken was just warm, and pizza was tiny for a large pizza, we also got 1 sauce. For 30 quid!!! Just Pathetic! Never again. For the same price, we usually get from their competitors an actual large pizza, 2 boxes of chips, 1 box of chicken goujons, 2 garlic and cheese bread and 3 dips. Dont waste your money.

30/03/2025: This is a honest review so you guys know if to come here the food here was just so bad the happy meal for my brother it was nit closed just opened, the burgers was in peice not together and the cheese was old and had a bit mold and hard,my mcflurry was in a random cup and it was not even half filled up it looked like it was left overs and it was so manky,the fries also was old.The place was not clean but the customer service was OK.

10/01/2025: Went here for family meal bbq sauce smelt like dogs breath all food was cold especially the chips was not fully cooked the place was freezing And really ran down looking got really sick from it vomiting etc would definitely not recommend.

21/03/2025: Ordered on just eat for delivery. The order was accepted, one hour later I received a notification saying the food was delivered, but nothing. Rang the restaurant, was told that they can’t deliver cause their delivery driver broke down. The ordered was accepted even though they can’t provide a service, never made aware of it and barely a sorry, shocking.

20/04/2025: My husband and I stayed at the West County Hotel last week. Our experience was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their service was great! We had breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings. The food was tasty, with a wide range of choice to pick from. Our room was cozy and warm, with a large, comfortable double bed. Everything was clean and well-kept. In addition to that, the hotel is located 5 minutes away from town. It is local and everything is within reach. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a few days away, to relax and enjoy a holiday!

12/04/2025: Where do you start.... 17:00 on a Saturday The downstairs restaurant only serves a fraction of the menu, pizzas only. Departures kitchen was closed for 30mins, when it opened there was a very poor selection of food, bacon & cabbage and garlic roasted potatoes!! €9.70 for a pint bottle of cider and €7.90 for a Guinness along with a 10minute wait for both. Empty glasses and plates on every second table and absolutely filthy floors. What has become of Shannon Airport, such a shame

03/04/2025: Small breakfast , food cold , sausage sour and porridge for €24 , BT of Bulmer €9.70 . Best advice is eat and drink before you come to the airport

29/03/2025: We have ordered Thandoori chicken and waited for 1 hour , after an hour waiter comes and tells they dont have it . And gives you the option of chicken 65 . But after couple more minutes of waiting you get chilli chicken with pilau rice, which is not even hot . Very disgusting. And you can't even have a peace ful Saturday evening dinner but still have to pay 36 euros . There is no respect for the time you waited and the respect you showed . Special mention to the complimentary desert we got , after all these what would you expect us do " have the dessert and walk out " Very much disappointed and so sad . We lost our valuable time together and money . So much frustrating.
