11/03/2025: Appalling treatment of customers, my Mum was served a pastry she did not order, and subsequently told by a server called Finnola she could not get the correct pastry due to ‘health and safety reasons’. She then proceeded to debate what my Mum ordered. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful service from this particular server, who also visibly treated other severs with disrespect. Food was unremarkable. Avoid this place.

02/08/2025: As a tourist i didnt really expect much hospitality but the counter girl was really nice and kind, the fish was greatly cooked and seasoned. Overall the whole place deserves a genuine 5 stars for there kindness and delicious food.

07/08/2025: Romayo's Swords has truly become my ultimate go-to for satisfying any fried chicken and fast food cravings. It's the kind of place you can always count on for a delicious meal that hits the spot every time. My absolute must-have order is the lunch box special, elevated by their fantastic curry sauce. The spice burger is a particular highlight, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. And you can't complete the meal without a double crumb shake; it's the ideal creamy, sweet finish. What I love about Romayo's is that their quality isn't limited to just a few items. I've tried much of the menu and can highly recommend everything. A surprising favorite of mine is the lean chicken bowl, which is not only healthy but also packed with flavor and a satisfying spicy kick. Whether you're looking for a classic fast food treat or something a little lighter, Romayo's has you covered with delicious, consistent food and great value. You definitely need to try it if you're in the area!

20/07/2025: Me and my son went in to Central Grill to get two bags of chips for him and my fiance, soon to find out €8 for two bags of chips, 4 euro per bag, even with that price I still bought the two bags of chips. After I ordered Me and my son went into the shop next to it to look around to get, a salad for my mother and drinks or us, this took around 5-10 minutes. After buying our stuff in the shop next to Central Grill we came back to immediately be served by a man with no expression. We got salt and vinegar on the two bags of chips. We left then with the two bags of chips to eat in our car, while my son and fiance were eating their bags of chips that the more they got into the bag the chips began to become more hard in the middle raw-like then when they were halfway in the bag the chips were raw, the chips still hot but not cooked properly at all. They only got hallway of their chips then stopped eating because it tasted inedible. My complaints are that they had enough time to cook our chips properly and we were fine with waiting longer for chips that they can eat, It also was very problematic that is was €8 for chips that aren't cooked and my final complaint is customer service, the person who served us was like a robot, no smile, just expressionless it wasn't even in the slightest a nice meal.

28/06/2025: It was the worst food I’ve gotten from any chipper, ever. Chips were half cooked, batteries sausage, burger and scallops were the same.

07/09/2025: Repeat visitor. Love the food here, great selection and very tasty. Highly recommended.

08/08/2025: The quality of the takeaway has gone steadily downhill over the last year, and prices keep going up. Took nearly two hours for food to arrive and found a gigantic black hair in the rice. Gave it the benefit of the doubt a few times but definitely won't be ordering again.

15/08/2025: Visited in early June while on vacation in Killarney. It was late when we arrived and there were not many places that were serving food. Chicken kabob plate my daughter ordered was very undercooked. A new dish was prepared for her...but it was a little hard to eat after biting into original plate. Would not recommend.

04/08/2025: The mixed kebab was massive. Well worth the money. The next time in killarney I'll be buying another one.

19/06/2025: Asian woman working there very rude to me and my friend ,I ordered a coffee and she told me my friend have to order 1 too,I said he is allergic,she threw us out .a disgraceful experience

16/06/2025: I called in on Saturday 14th June for a coffee and a muffin to take away and attempted to pay with an online voucher I had received as a gift. I had the QR code downloaded to my phone as per the instructions. When they scanned the consumer they said it wasn’t registering at the till even thought the gift card number was under the QR code. The assistant said she couldn’t accept the voucher as payment so I left the store and my order as I refused to pay for something when I had a voucher to cover the cost. When I got home I checked the voucher online and was horrified to find that the cost of the goods I hadn’t gotten because my voucher wasn’t “registering”, had been deducted from the full cost of the voucher. There is no phone numbers for this shop and when k emailed the customer complains email address given on their website, the email bounced back. Absolutely appaling treatment by staff and it seems when there is a problem, there is no one around to rectify. I will be calling back in person tomorrow so I will update this post then.

25/08/2025: Very expensive, the tiur guides and drivers were once looked after for bringing thousands of people here every year. Now they won't even give a cappuccino. I will be recommending everybody to go to Durty Nellys at the top of the road.

12/08/2025: Nice and clean cafe, a good place for a quick lunch and a bit of relaxation. We had a chicken wrap, a ham and cheese baguette, and a Coke. Everything was very good. It cost €18, a fair price for the area.

21/08/2025: Schöne Sachen, wollten uns schon etwas kaufen! Als ich dann mein Handy rausholte wurden wir sehr unfreundlich angegangen! Daraufhin sind wir wieder gegangen. Schade. Answer to your comment: Accusing us of using google lens is clearly incorrect! We don’t even have the app! And you could have just asked us, instead of being rude to us. Then we could have explained why we used our phones (even though it’s our business)! And just that you see, people also enjoy shopping in small local shops: I was asking my sister if this is a good idea for a present for our mother. We would have bought it 🤷‍♀️ Have a good day.
