09/11/2024: We have ordered from this take away for years. Ordered food tonight and found a hair in our rice. This is the second time this has happened. Rang the take away the offered us €10 refund on Revolut…… still waiting. Won’t be ordering again.

19/10/2024: Reheated chips mixed with some old reheated chips.. 👎

08/11/2024: The food has honestly gone so bad this past year! I would not recommend. Our food was freezing over cooked and it looked like it was left there for ages and then re-heated again. Spent 30 euro on a spice box. I tried it again after last time to give it another chance but this will certainly be my last.

26/09/2024: Exceptional customer service, family run business with heart. Their cakes and breads are delicious. Every time I return from the UK I stock up and bring back what I can. Love all the produce and long may you continue 🙏🇮🇪💖

20/11/2024: food is nice but delivery always takes between 60-100 minutes. Started ordering from Fu Moon which has delivery less than 45 minutes

24/08/2024: We live locally so this is our nearest Chinese option - it's really not great though. Anytime we order from here I always regret it halfway through the meal. Food is always quick and hot and there are a few items on the menu that are ok, but anytime I've tried something new I've always been disappointed. Quality of the meat is awful - very stereotypical 'cheap Chinese takeaway'. The staff are always friendly but if they improved the quality of the produce and raised the prices a bit I'd be a much more frequent customer.

29/12/2024: Very good kebab! I recommend the lamb doner kebab, best in the area! Keep in mind that the kebabs by default have spicy sauce added, if u dont want spicy ask them to not add it.

15/07/2024: Very disappointed, Not recommended at all We ordered couple portions of wings, all were burned. No essentials like salt or ketchup sachets.

14/11/2024: Do NOT get the special spice bag. So for tonight I ordered special spice bag with just a side of curry. Honestly can’t even call this a spice bag. Have had many and this one just…no. Doesn’t have that spice bag seasoning. I’ve no clue wHAT it is. (Yes it looks really good in the photo but trust me it’s plain). Had to add in my own seasoning to make it taste better. I asked for extra onion, there’s no extra onion. The curry I got is like pure water consistency wise and doesn’t taste that nice either

04/12/2024: Got delivery, ordered a curry with fried rice and chips extra and chicken balls with chips and sweet and sour sauce, 2 7ups, I paid 38.60...I got no drinks and no rice, I rang to say I got no rice and was told I didn't order it...I remember ordering fried rice, I was told u have to order rice extra if u want it which I think is BS as a curry is not a curry without rice. How in the name of god could it cost 38.60. Never again.

08/10/2024: Have regularly used this place as we did enjoy the food up until recently. I can totally understand that businesses need to increase there price of products to survive however when picking up my latest order not only was the price higher the portion was at least a quarter of the size less. I subquentily made this known to the staff however they only tried to argue against this fact and say it was always like this even thoughi had been ordering this for some time now. Very disappointed by how the staff reacted. There are plenty more takeaways in ballinasloe and not to try and keep a regular is just bad practice. Update, credit where it's due I said I would give them another chance and they did not disappoint, portion size has gone back to normal and the flavours were very good.

05/12/2024: Professors were unprofessional and unqualified. Most of them did not provide any marks throughout the semester, I would think I’ve handed everything in and haven’t heard anything so I must be doing okay but then get a terrible grade at the end of the semester. They assigned completely pointless, time consuming assignments that were a waste of time. It seemed like they were just making the grades up based on what they thought of students. Gerald O’Farrell was the most arrogant and worst teacher I’ve had and should not be employed in education. I studied here for a year as an international student in 2022. It was over crowded to say the least. Parking is a disaster and living close enough to not need it is very difficult as they don’t have actual residences for students. The gym was the worst gym I’ve seen in an institution of this size, it reminded me of a high school weight room expect they charge students to use the gym on top of tuition. As an international student many of the professors would discriminate and make jokes about us attending and not share the necessary information for us to properly complete assignments while they ensured the local students had what they needed. These points were brought up with the department heads, Tony Mahon and others at the time, by me and other international students but they literally laughed at us and said that “they aren’t going to change the Irish education system for us” and to “get on with it” Choose another place to study.

07/10/2024: About to graduate and have a lot to say about the place. TUS Moylish or LIT is about as disorganised as it gets. It is extremely overcrowded. It's facilities are lacklustre. I was a class representative for my course for multiple years. I had to email many many times about lectures being unclear on assignments, lectures not doing their jobs to correct standards, and at times being vindictive towards classmates of mine. I am dyslexic, and the disability support within this college is poor and disorganised. Often times I was only contacted days before exams to ask about what I require, resulting in mistakes and non ideal solutions. In forth year I was forced to do my exam in a room separate from my classmates despite emailing and asking many times to do it in the normal lecture hall alongside the rest of my course. These emails never got answered. That leads me onto the inability to contact anyone at the college office by phone, normally being put on hold indefinitely. This is during normal working hours, not during lunch. The college parking is extraordinarily inadequate, to the point where if you don't arrive at least 40 minutes early, all the spaces will be taken. This is also true for the canteen, where seating is full throughout lunchtime with no alternative areas to sit. If you have severe asthma you may want to look elsewhere too as every entrance and exit will have smokers constantly, making entering the college suffocating. There have also been plenty of cases of individuals vaping inside the lecture halls and labs with no repercussions. We are planned to have a graduation at the end of this month, but no information as been emailed to us, leading us to have to email many times for any form of answers. Most of my classmates have began work and need to know what days to book off in advance, yet TUS has no urgency in letting us know when to book. I would like to add there are some amazing lectures too, and I wish them the best. They were what got us through the college experience. But I can't recommend TUS in it's current state. Here's hoping they improve eventually. TLDR: This college has issues at so many levels, I recommend looking elsewhere before getting stuck for 4+ years.

24/12/2024: Waited 40 mins in shop for food when app said it was ready to collect before I left home to collect When I got there they hadn't even started making my order And just found the staff very rude and ignorant Won't be back to this establishment

25/07/2024: Thought my fish was in a fire thing was burnt to a crisp. My fish and chips must of been cooked in a volcano. I felt like I was after smoking 20 benson after that. Wouldn’t return.

28/11/2024: Doesn't look appealing soon as you walk in walked back out looks walking with the dirt.

18/10/2024: Very good food and quality. Only reason a 3 for atmosphere is the place was currently only open for delivery and take away at the time.
