The best restaurants

17/05/2025: just stopped here on the way home from the beach back to limerick. order got taken quick but waited ages for it. portion sizes very small compared to the price, almost 12 quid for a tender meal, just a handful of chips. tenders are good for the first few bites until they all start tasting like grease. store was extremely messy too, all the tables next to me still had food trays and salt all over them and flies landing on the tables too.

10/04/2025: Just got home to find a missing chicken fillet burger which I had paid for and waited ages for. It wasn’t even busy. Won’t be back and will be in tomorrow for my refund.

17/07/2025: Rang to try and clarify the delivery address the man hangs the phone up 4 times I ring back again and again then he says he is busy and hangs up the phone. Completely ignores me trying to clarify the address . I won't be ordering from here again. Waste of time bad service! Do yourself a favour and don't bother with this place good is mid anyways !

29/06/2025: AVOID. total scam artists rang twice asking about my food and they lied about the food being on its way, no food arrived

30/03/2025: I would give zero stars. Waited 1.5h for delivery on a Sunday. Food was disappointing. We spent over €50 and it was a total waste. It used to be a decent place, but has gone down hill. There are a lot of places around with great quality food. Stay away from this one!!!!

24/02/2025: Osaka Sushi and Ramen is a takeaway gem! Fresh sushi, rich ramen broths, spice box and generous portions. The spicy tuna roll and savory ramen are must-trys! Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and great value. Plus, their delivery is always on time! Highly recommended!

19/04/2025: The pictures for the food feels misleading. The pictures look scrumptious but the food I must say sadly disappointed me. I asked for no mayo on my burger and it was made with so much mayo. The amount of sauce on my burger was enough to completely soak the bottom bun. It soaked it so much that it melted into a yeasty slime. Very unappetising. My chips were fine, a tad soggy but fine. My biggest concern is with the drink. When the order arrived the drink had spilled all over the bag? I would argue on why are cans or bottles not given with deliveries because it was a shame to have a lot of my drink spilled all over the bag. The chicken was nice quality but overall this place needs some work!

05/09/2025: The food is very bad! The problem with Gather&Gather is that we make beautifully looking food, but unfortunately it tastes bad. Also, why don't we have normal food menus like all the other universities? TCD has different lunch menus everyday with at least four options including chicken curry, grilled beef, fish and chips...lots of options and true lunch food!

29/03/2025: It just improved so much! Healthy, accessible and tasty options! It is a shame it is the only place like this in the entire UCD campus

05/07/2025: If I could give this minus I would ....... This is the worst chipper that I have ever had ...... And when down on holiday it's not what you would expect for a small place ...... The best way to describe this is a kip ...... The thing is I had a big f..king black wirey hair in there pizza 🤢🤢🤢Dried up garlic cheese chips that were made and left sit untill pizza was made ..... Apsalutey disscusted is not the word for it ...... Staff is just as ignorant stay clear and keep your money ....... Would I recommend or come back ..... Would I even ask them to make the food agein ........ HELL NO ......

23/06/2025: Terrible place, I've used a few times now with the hopes that they would improve, but they only get worse, they often forget half your order, they also charge for chicken fillet burger but give you cheap chicken not fillet, sausages are terrible with chewy bits of grissle, fish is inedible tastes like it's been imported from Fukushima, most of the chips are green with scabs on, chicken fillet kabab soggy, Cheese burger chewy and tasted like armpit , chips taste like arse. Shockingly terrible AVOID! AVOID!

15/06/2025: Discraceful , the fish was burnt dry and miserable , chicken burger was destroyed in mayo , way too much and not nice looking or tasting , 2 meals , 2 kids burgers on there own , milkshake and dip 40e!! Not to mention he said I can only have 1 drink , even tho I bought 2 meals ,he kept saying give me 2€ The meals went into the bin . Wouldn't bother ordering from here ever again . Rude and horrible food

15/06/2025: If you want overpriced tripe this is the place to go horrible food slapped together 40 euro for 2 burgers and fish and ontop of that it's by far the worst in Waterford so if that's what you are after this is Ur place

14/06/2025: Ordered from just eat. Egg fried rice missing. Order notes not followed to 2 other items inedible. Really disappointing first experience. 3 stars for the chicken balls and satay sauce those were delicious!

21/06/2025: Food came within 15 mins of ordering which wasn’t a good thing since was clearly taken out of the freezer and microwaved. €35 for 2 4 in 1s and ribs and they weren’t even cooked fresh. Food tastes like the freezer it’s blatantly obvious the freezer burn on the chicken. Super disappointing waste of money

17/11/2024: Hi everyone, Just stay as far away from this restaurant as much as possible. This is an honest review. I am writing this review for the welfare of people of Cork. This restaurant is the worst among the restaurants I visited in my life. And it’s the same after 3 years I visited again. Nothing changed. I went out with my friends for dinner, ordered few different curries with beaf and chicken, along with chapati and naan. It was difficult to order because the guy tried to force us to order things according to his choice not ours. Now the order arrived and story started. The food is literally 0.1/5 in taste. I asked the guy to change the chapatis as they were literally burnt. Not eatable. The guy gave his first argument that (we sell chapatis like this, you have to eat them burnt as it is) Then his arrogance kicked in and he stoped serving us, we left the restaurant with worst experience and spoiled night. As I am an asian guy and I know what they are selling to people of Cork on the name of Indian food, Absolutely nothing. Pretty much same curry thing with hundreds of names. You won’t feel a difference in any thing. Long story short. Please stay away. And now I realised that there are loads of reviews of same kind as I am giving. I regret I would have read those reviews before I had given them chance to spoil our night out.

07/09/2025: Order pizza with 2 toppings but olives were swimming on it , cheese at even taste the pizza everything was lost under flooded with olives but when you rang the shop for complains what else u expect with 2 toppings. AVOID

17/08/2025: Good burgers, very kind and friendly people. Despite our very poor, if not nonexistent, English, they did everything they could to understand us and serve us. If you're looking for a good quick meal (pizza or burger), you can stop by.

22/08/2025: I dont leave negative reviews without good reason but this place deserves zero stars. It was absolutely disgusting. Everything we got. The only thing edible was the fried rice. The beef satay skewers were rotten. Chewey, covered in disgusting batter. Seriously just stay away. How it is still in business I cannot understand.

07/06/2025: Family wanted chinese, wasn't feeling great (migraine) ordered won ton soup and malaysian fried rice - absolutely hit the spot - delicious and will order again 100%

09/06/2025: Deal with your staff, ever since you employed that bully Gabi the service and atmosphere has changed shockingly, I go in there once a week with a group of four and have never had a problem until she started working there, I have heard it on the grapevine she has gotten fired from ger last two jobs due to her attitude and bullying. I won't be going near there anymore especially after her little performance the other day.

01/06/2025: I would not recommend visiting this place. Horrendous service the staff were so rude!! I can't believe how rude they were towards us and especially my mum and my son. So expensive and not worth it at all, plenty of nicer places around. The hot chocolate was just a plain hot chocolate and I was charged 5 euro which is well above average. While sitting discussing what sweet treat we were going to get we were continuously hassled by the staff member. Seeing the reply here from the owner ( and other replies ) it's clear the staff get their manners from the owner!

Started shouting at me because I wanted to pay by card and my order was a couple or euro short of there 15euro minium to pay by card, I asked if I could order something else small to bring the price up and was told to leave the shop and never come back! Pity I didn't read some of the reviews before I went there, seems she's very aggressive with everyone
