20/10/2025: Minging food. Meat sung with no sauce whatsoever. Same with the spring roll, a giant lump of over fried batter you'd need an angle grinder to get into. It's still emitting enough heat the day after to keep my apartment warm so there's that....

20/09/2025: Chicken curry take out - chicken was hard, like it was completely over cooked. Disappointing.

03/12/2025: Only takeaway in town that puts its prices up after midnight. Taking advantage of customers coming out of pubs late at night. Avoid!!!

05/12/2025: Food came as planned wasn’t exactly happy with the store front person. She was very rude when trying to get clarification on menu items. Her attitude towards us was very passive aggressive.

03/12/2025: Took over 1.5 hours to deliver. The food was cold and inedible. I called up to ask for a new one. Said would take another hour at least and would have to give back other food, felt a bit insulting. Dont waste your time or money. Will not be going back.

23/11/2025: Just finished indulging in a curry from the Blue Jade. Probably the worst Chinese takeaway in Waterford. I can see a lengthy visit to the bathroom in my future

04/11/2025: We were ordering in the drive thru and there was a young man working there who was shouting obscenities down the microphone of the guy taking the order. He thought it was a prank but he should be instantly fired for that, and I don’t like to say it but you would be fired from any job for shouting obscenities at customers. I felt sorry for the guy who was serving us and the food is very good from Burger King at the Birdhill motorway stop so we will definitely go back but that other young man really let himself and his colleagues down with his childish behaviour.

29/10/2025: Edited on 29/10/25 after trying again after my St Patricks weekend experience. Guess who is either out of Beef again or hasnt had it since March 2025.... No BurgerKing Birdhill. Thats who 🤣 a litrral joke shop . St Patrick's weekend, the busiest bank holiday of the year..... And no beef available. How does that even happen BurgerKing Birdhill. You are an absolute joke. BurgerKing. More like, like NoBurgerKing

26/10/2025: I recently had food from Four Star pizza in Ennis. It uses to be alright but I've never been so sick in my life!! I would not recommend going here!!

30/09/2025: Came here today, merely because no where else in Cahir is serving food with the option to sit indoors right now. Greeted politely by a woman at the deli counter who was very nice. Overall service was good, although very loud talking to each other and shouting my friend and I’s ordered out loud despite the place being mostly empty. The food however, I paid €22 for a hot chocolate, 200ml bottle of apple juice, 7 chips in a tiny bowl you’d use for salsa dressing and a “sweet chilli chicken wrap” which tasted like it was made from packaged chicken slices and greasy cheese that wasn’t melting, also felt like it was microwaved instead of toasted because it was soggy and not crunchy. I won’t be coming back, for the price it’s ridiculous, The girls were lovely so i feel bad but it’s clearly aimed to overcharge americans/ tourists and not a place locals can get a nice filling lunch for a good price.

28/09/2025: Sandwiches rip off. I ordered a chicken Tikka and coleslaw sandwich on sliced pan brown bread to take away and astonishingly charged €8.95. If it had been nice homemade brown bread maybe worth it and as it happened very little tikka spice flavour more overkill with the mayonnaise. Totally overpriced.

21/11/2025: First of all, the manager, whom had black hair was completely awful to staff. It was quite horrifying. To see young teenagers being roared at behind the counter is never impressing. Will not be going back as it made me extremely uncomfortable, and I hope the young girl leaves to.

08/09/2025: Incredibly rude and ignorant staff behind the counter. Manager should be sacked. Would never recommend to anyone to go in there.

03/11/2025: Absolute disgrace of an outlet the only one that I have had bad experiences with 3 times now and it will be the last time I ever use again, was told delivery would be 40mins 2 hours later food turned up and was cold. I called 4 times for an update to be told he will be there any minute with our food. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, AVOID THIS BRANCH OF APACHE

20/10/2025: I ordered two chips cheese and garlic it took 1hour and 45mins after being told a hour with no warning of delay i also ordered extra garlic mayo it came with the normal amount and very dry it came Luke warm. This has ruined my day

30/10/2025: Food is bang average. €18 for a spice bag with 4 pieces of chicken & an egg fried rice. Took 80 minutes to be delivered and was barely warm to touch. Standard has fallen off a cliff as of late.

30/12/2024: Very disappointed, I ordered a wrap with side salad. Received a wrap with a spoon of potato salad and a tidy amount of crisps. Mens toilet was disgusting, not cleaned .

16/04/2025: Refrain from ordering from this establishment. This online ordering operates as a fraudulent scheme. Upon placing an order, they falsely claim that communication has been unsuccessful and that delivery is not possible. Furthermore, they fail to provide a refund, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and customer service.

21/03/2025: I don't know why is such a problem for this - and specificly for this - shop to send plain burger if I ordered so? And also female Indian drivier is giving three to four phone calls unable to deliver to the doors.

10/11/2025: All the staff was fine bar the young lady there, my husband and i noticed she kept staring at him (its normal for people in customer service to watch out for customers but this was overdone while completely disregarding my existence) and kept trying to speak to him (for example waiting for us to leave before asking him personal information), this made us both uncomfortable

24/10/2025: Great food for the price! Pork and potato was delicious. And the restaurant is located on the 3rd floor with a great view of Stephens Green Park. Highly recommend if you're looking to get full without paying outrageous Dublin restaurant prices.

28/09/2025: My experiences with Subway. North Street, Swords (Applegreen garage)... Experience 1: The woman serving me thought it would be a good idea to serve both me as well as the lady behind me at the same time. I didn't feel prioritised and I actually felt uncomfortable ordering alongside someone else whom I don't know. The subway employee ended confusing herself whilst mixing up our bread and sauce types. Disappointing to be honest considering a roll costs in around 9 quid. Not cheap in today's climate and its a treat I generally look forward to but dont always have. Be better. Experience 2: I only eat Hearty Italian. I understand that subway have other choices of good quality bread to chose from but I've tried their selection and nothing tickles my fancy. On this day, I arrived at Subway an hour and a half after they had opened. I asked for a Hearty Italian only to find out that none had been prepared. I'm working within the hospitality trade all my life. Anyone that has worked within hospitality knows preparation is key. Being ready is key. Instead I was nonchalantly told that :they're not ready yet". No offer of an alternative bread, no waiting time given. Just a terrible attitude and a sense of carelessness. Be better. Experience 3: I was served by whom I consider to be their best employee. Fairly sure she's a full-timer with brown hair. Very efficient, good manners, smiles, works clean and holds the counter well by herself when under pressure. However, after ordering a roll with meatballs, spicy cheese and marinara sauce I took a bite only to find that the meatballs were dry, black and almost rock solid (almost). Again, disappointed and fed up but not fed. Be better Side note: The garage as a whole is ran dismally. The deli is twice as bad as subway. Burger king isn't too bad and the cashiers/shop floor assistants are clueless when it comes to prompt and efficient service. If you're packing a shelf and you see a line of customers waiting to pay for fuel/products, etc take a 2 minute break from what you're doing and clear the line. Instead, the employees gawk at the queue whilst continuing to pack shelves etc. Meanwhile, all us customers are growing impatient with the one person working the till whom generally, if not most of the time, has no sense of urgency and is not trained adequately on tills therefore making mistakes and elongating the entire process for everyone. Not too mention, you don't even get a smile. The garage is a joke and Applegreen head office need to implement policies, procedures and inspections for their staff and the premises. Pelco is a great example of how to manage a business of the same nature within a garage setting.The big boys within the company should take responsibility too and do a bit of graft instead of floating from outlet to outlet in their lovely suits doing next to nothing other than throwing an eye over the premises and asking the same old questions. Be better. I'm going over to Subway now to order a roll. I will edit and update this review if I have a bad experience. Let's hope not though! Fantastic service today. 17.06.25 Rolls not ready in Subway 50 minutes after opening. 22.06.25 Very good service today. Fast, clean and friendly. 28.06.25 All over the place. Just keeps getting worse and worse. 28.09.25 Waited 5 minutes (which would've been longer if I was willing to remain patient) to be served. I foresaw that I could've been waiting longer so I decided against a subway today. Staff very slow. No sense of urgency, not even any acknowledgement. No changing of gloves between orders either. Pay for Rock Star to lead your team and stop employing minimum rate staff that don't care! One employee on shift. Slow service. Lack of health and safety precaution due to being under too much pressure. No changing of gloves etc.Getting worse as time goes by. I wouldn't be surprised to see the shop go at some point soon. Btw, the young lady that served me tried her best and did a great job given the environment she is operating in and the tools/help she has been provided.
