24/04/2025: Got chips and a battered sausage on the way home from work. Have to say they are the worst chips I've ever had. Absolutely burnt and tastes like they were reheated.they were also not fresh chips definitely frozen one. Also the battered sausage was not much better. Batter was not crispy at all. Again like it was reheated in the microwave. Would not recommend this place

18/05/2026: Booked late and delighted to get reservation. Lovely welcome and atmosphere on arrival Delighted to see rack of lamb on menu which my wife and I decided to have. Extremely dissapointed when told by our waiter that the chef would not cook or serve the dish well done. After discussion we decided to share the chateaubriand steak . We were again told the chef would not cook or serve well done. What a dissapointed, left us both flabbergasted. We have travelled the world and eaten in the best restaurants on land and cruise ships and never experienced a chef refusing to cook a meal to our preferred requirements. Beautiful restaurant, great front house staff, great athletes but left a sour taste in our mouth and not from the "food". Whatever happened to "The customer is Always Right " Brendan

30/08/2025: Darren and team were great! In from Nashville, TN and had the best stay and breakfast was delish (smoked trout) . Must stay in kilkenny!

27/08/2025: Myself and my partner had dinner in Statham’s by Pembroke on Saturday night and to say the food was out of this world is an understatement, each course was prepared and served to perfection. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the atmosphere was amazing. This is a top class venue with the most delicious food i have ever eaten can't wait to come back again.

07/12/2024: El mejor pub de Dublín, con la mejor pinta de Guinness y un personal fantástico. Puede que sea un poco parcial, pero definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

18/08/2025: Very pleasant welcome in this family-run pastry shop and tea room. Excellent breakfast, the scones are delicious (plain, raisin, or rhubarb). The coffee tasted not great, but everything else was good.

01/08/2025: Great for lunch. The service, the welcome, the food, and the prices are all top-notch.

25/11/2025: The menu was very limited and the restaurant area was very cold (I had to keep my coat on all the time). I will definitely not be recommending this place to others - steer clear!
