07/11/2025: Best pizza in Waterford!!! We tried this place a few months back and since then it's our regular Friday Pizza night. Amazing customer service and the owner is a gentleman!! We highly recommend it!!

18/09/2026: Delighted that Ging's is back after 4 years. Theyve done beautiful job of restoring it with the gorgeous original stonework on the outside and inside. Loads of screens in youre into your soccer and fabulous outside covered section. As well as what was already surely one of the best beer gardens in Ireland along the broad majestic Shannon! And great staff too! Welcome back 🙏
18/09/2026: Really pleased to see Gings has re opened.
Fabulous rebuild, and still one of the best views from a pub in Ireland.
If next summer is as good as 2026 then the other pubs in Carrick are in big trouble.

12/05/2024: Beautiful meal in Maxwell's tonight. Staff were super friendly and the food was exceptional. Had garlic mushrooms to start and chicken & beef main and couldnt fault it. Would definitely recommend a visit
