The best restaurants

26/09/2024: Lovely brunch/ breakfast! The eggs benedict and pancakes are really tasty. The menu is really reasonably priced too! The only thing is the food is not hot-hot more room temperature, the 3rd time I went in I did ask them to make sure it was hot and it was though! So maybe just ask. The staff are friendly and didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend.

14/09/2024: The best place in the town for breakfast, food is amazing, plenty of it too. It's also comfortable bright and clean and the staff are so lovely. My partner says the coffee is delicious also. Highly recommended. Edit as of 14/09/24 It's worth noting, this cafe has moved from it's previous location on the street-front on station road to inside the small mall across the street. More seating is now available.

15/08/2024: Excellent! Two of us dined here yesterday and had a light breakfast. The food was freshly cooked and the hash browns and the mushrooms were the best I have ever tasted. It is very clean, welcoming, fantastic value for money and the staff are top notch. Several other restaurants/cafes in Sligo could take note from this wonderful venue. Thank you.

28/03/2024: Lovely welcoming cafe near the main area of town. Friendly owners, & I had a hearty delicious breakfast. I'll definitely visit there again when I'm next in Dublin

13/02/2024: Always closed the time table needs to be updated. Anytime I go here it's never opened when it says opened from 10am!!!!

21/08/2025: First visited Harry's 9 months ago. Lunch on that day was brilliant, as was the service. We're back in Ireland once more and again, lunched at Harry's today. We were not disappointed. Once again, the service was second to none, the staff were friendly and very welcoming, and the food was sensational. We'll definitely be returning to Harry's when next in Ireland.

11/12/2024: I order two meal deals but only received one portion of chips when I tried ringing to rectify their mistake nobody answered the phone I must have rang 4 or 5 times

02/11/2024: Ordered online and was told food would be ready at 16:16. Drove from my house in Ardee only to be told we don’t open till 5 yet online it’s says yous open at 3. Very disappointing and it’s clear service has gone down in the past few years.

12/08/2024: Great fish and chips, great jalfrezi curry spiced to order. Highly recommend the food. Very nice v service. Starters were good also and not too expensive. Wine reasonably priced. Would like v if they expanded to include a few cocktails and craft beers

25/07/2024: We had a fabulous lunch here, the freshest of food and everything homemade. Great staff and lovely surroundings. We ate outside the back of the restaurant as we had our golden retriever dog with us who was most welcome and loved pottering around the garden. Highly recommend.

07/02/2025: Friendly staff. Helpful. Nice environment. Large portions. Bit pricey. Quality of food was decent. Bacon on burger was very fatty. Side salad was tasty. Overall decent visit.

03/01/2025: My wife and I visited here on a terrible day two weeks weeks before Christmas. I've reviewed this restaurant before, do this will be short. The friendly server cleared a table for us, and we're seated in a few minutes. Food was delicious, served piping hot, sides of fries and mash were again delicious and piping hot. We visited on the day the heating was broken, but we did not notice, only the server told us. Coffee was again delicious. This is a beautiful restaurant, with good food and great staff. Can't wait to return soon. I'd highly recommend this place. Thanks again for another lovely meal.

27/11/2025: I’ve been coming to TrueFoods for years and am delighted to have seen it grow. It is really unique and the variety of organic produce is, in my opinion, unsurpassed. I’ve shopped for organic in a few parts of Europe and the multiple parts of USA and this store beats them all that I’ve found for produce and friendly, helpful staff and volunteers.

28/10/2025: Amazing shop with a super range of organic fruit and veg, whole food, household toiletries, fresh bread, loose dried food and everything you can possibly imagine from a great local ethical shop.
