05/09/2024: This was the first time I have visited the Greencastle Inn and I have to say the surroundings and the food was first class. Nothing was any problem for the chef ! The service staff were very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone visiting

03/05/2025: Came by this pub by off chance when me and my mate were doing a tour of west coast of Ireland. Coming in early evening we were only intending to stay for a couple but Christine the landlady her partner Mike and Martin one of the regulars made us feel so welcome we ended staying a bit longer and leaving in the early hours, with Martins wife giving us a lift back to our camper van Loved it so much was really tempted to come back for the jazz festival in the village at the end of May but unable to due to work commitments. I do know if you decide to visit you will made to feel very welcome.

20/07/2025: Maravillosa comida y batidos. Tostadas Francesas y tocino delicioso. Un poco de entrenamiento de camareros mejoraría las cosas. Uno de los nuestros era un poco despistado - tuvo que pedir dos veces por todo. El gerente era excelente - se encargó de un servicio de almuerzo muy ocupado con aplomo. Volveré seguro. Es un lugar encantador y si no estás en una carrera loca funciona. Barrista se toma su tiempo para hacer un gran café, también pero en el buen sentido con cuidado.

25/07/2024: Fish was horrible, was burnt and felt microwaved. Chips felt reheated - not fresh and curry sauce was awful. If you like fish and chips go somewhere else. Awful food, would never eat there again.

13/08/2025: Nous cherchions a manger rapide et bon sans dépenser des sommes folles. Les prix affichés par de nombreux restaurants sont hors de prix à Dublin. J'avais déjà entendu parler de cette enseigne propre à Dublin. Accueil très sympathique. Une belle carte et nous avons opté pour des menus 50/50 avec de bonnes frites (cuites au moment de la commande), des tenders avec une sauce à choisir (Cajun est excellente). Deux minis burgers avec un filet de poulet et un dip type sauce ranch. Plus une boisson. C'était vraiment bon pour 14.95 euros et nous étions repus. Prêt pour continuer notre visite de la ville. Les toilettes propres. Le sourire du serveur sympathique aussi. Rien à redire.

12/08/2025: Mientras dábamos un último paseo por la ciudad no teníamos ningún plan concreto para almorzar, así que decidimos por capricho entrar aquí. Honestamente, tenía pocas expectativas, estas mejoraron ligeramente porque alguien había dejado algo de crédito en la máquina de discos de la mesa, por lo que al menos pudimos disfrutar de algunas canciones mientras comíamos. La comida llegó rápido, parecía presentable y en realidad sabía decente, una hamburguesa, una hamburguesa vegetariana algunas patatas fritas y algunos refrescos todo por £ 37 en Dublín no es un mal negocio. Mucho mejor que un McDonald's genérico, pero no del todo al nivel de un lugar de hamburguesas gourmet. No mires más allá IT para un lugar asequible y de calidad decente.
