28/05/2025: It was a terrible pity dinos closed down it used to be always packed he did great food he died i hope whoever takes it over does well best of luck to them

04/04/2025: Dreadful chipper. Kebabs are disgusting, chips are horrendous. Keep away from this so called chipper. They take ages to do food. In my opinion not a good chipper, stay away!!! Glad it's closed as it deserves to be closed permanently. Worst chipper I've ever been to.

18/03/2025: First time in Spanish point and found it to be a lovely part of the wild atlantic way. A beautiful day for a walk along the beach and then lunch at Johnny Burkes in the Armada Hotel. My Wife wasn't very hungry so just had the soup of the day which was parsnip, she really enjoyed it. I had the roast rib of beef with all the trimmings and it was excellent. Service was very fast considering it was very busy. I'm already looking forward to a return trip during the summer.

19/01/2025: Johnny Burke's bar at the Amada in Spanish Point is brilliant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are welcoming and delightful. The food menu is very good indeed. Spectacular location, spectacular staff.

01/06/2024: Absolutamente impactante que solo están fuera para estafar a la gente que está fuera bebiendo por dinero. Nos alojamos en Galway, pedimos comida para llevar al hotel, la comida faltaba en la orden y las bebidas estaban mal. Costó € 30 por una pizza de 12 pulgadas y 2 piezas de pan de ajo demasiado cocido y 2 bebidas! La pizza también estaba muy cocinada! Evite incluso si está desesperado

24/04/2025: Got chips and a battered sausage on the way home from work. Have to say they are the worst chips I've ever had. Absolutely burnt and tastes like they were reheated.they were also not fresh chips definitely frozen one. Also the battered sausage was not much better. Batter was not crispy at all. Again like it was reheated in the microwave. Would not recommend this place

18/05/2026: Booked late and delighted to get reservation. Lovely welcome and atmosphere on arrival Delighted to see rack of lamb on menu which my wife and I decided to have. Extremely dissapointed when told by our waiter that the chef would not cook or serve the dish well done. After discussion we decided to share the chateaubriand steak . We were again told the chef would not cook or serve well done. What a dissapointed, left us both flabbergasted. We have travelled the world and eaten in the best restaurants on land and cruise ships and never experienced a chef refusing to cook a meal to our preferred requirements. Beautiful restaurant, great front house staff, great athletes but left a sour taste in our mouth and not from the "food". Whatever happened to "The customer is Always Right " Brendan
