The best restaurants

16/09/2025: A pleasant experience. The staff was always attentive to our every need. It's very close to places to have a drink, the distillery, eat, shop, the beach, and the cliffs.

18/08/2025: I wouldn’t stay again, tv wasn’t working in the room. There was no bar or restaurant opened either.

07/06/2024: Dropped in here for some Sunday dinner lovely little pub with a restaurant staff are fantastic felt very welcomed! Food was fantastic definitely return visit on the cards 👍🏼

18/05/2024: I was at the hangedmans restraunt today with my family. As I was sitting down having our dinner I over heard a horrendous conversation with the owner of the restraunt. The owner was shouting at a woman from what I understood was not her fault at all as someone with her had canceled a booking, the owner then went on to tell the woman to f***off and to leave. Another man then came up to tell the owner that this wasn’t right or talk to a woman like that, and his response to the man was f*** off aswell, totally inexcusable behaviour and should not shout and use vulgar language to a woman. I said it to him when paying for our bill that I would be leaving this review as I was disgusted with his behaviour. Do not come here unless you want to be shouted at or abused for no reason. The owner is a horrid man

05/06/2024: It's very sad to see this place closing down. I came here a few times with my late nan and her family when I used to visit Dublin, and the food was delicious, both dinner and deserts. Best of luck in your new ventures, guys, and may the memories last forever.

26/05/2024: Some great bands play here, particularly Be-Bop-Gold.

28/06/2024: Cool place. Typical fish & chips, large and tasty. Free sauces. Aside from the restroom, which was terribly neglected, the place is pretty cool. And the atmosphere is pretty cool too.

27/04/2025: The Greek waiter was friendly. The salmon was nice but cold. The burger was terrible and not fresh at all (bacon was freezing cold, burger was warn heated in the microwave, buns was burnt, lettuce soggy), absolutely horrible. The kids Goujous was nuggets. The music was too loud for a restaurant. It was cold inside and I kept my coat on. We won't go back there again! Definitely, wasting money!

29/03/2025: Dear Ukrainians. Please help me find the contact number of the hotel where Ukrainians live. Peacockes Hotel, Maam Cross, Co. Galway. The person living in this hotel has not been in contact for a week. Perhaps one of the volunteers can help. The number that is on the Internet does not work. Thanks in advance
