The best restaurants

16/05/2025: Another joke of an Irish company. Left waiting months for a product, no update unless I contacted them directly. Always told it was on "back order". Every email you send them, they constantly ask if you want to "cancel your order". They don't give a damn. Typical Irish company.

06/04/2025: If I could rate it no stars I would. Communication is abysmal and that is being kind. I ordered a product on 7th of February. By 20th of February there was still no sign of the item being delivered and I had heard nothing from them other than the fact that they had taken my money. So I got in contact with them. At that point someone let me know that the item that had been in stock on their website was actually on back order and was not expected to be in their warehouse until the 28th of February. On 14th of March I had heard nothing more about the item being delivered so I emailed again. They emailed me back to say that it had only been dispatched then from their UK warehouse. Today I received my item, over 8 weeks after I ordered and paid for it. There was no contact with updates unless I reached out. Surely there is a way to let customers know that their delivery might take a bit longer. Very disappointing service and I will NOT be ordering from them again.

31/07/2025: Pedí lo que pensé que era una opción saludable... bagel wITh hongos, tomates, queso mozzarella y espinacas , wITin pedirle que le pusiera mayonesa en el bagel a ambos lados del bagel... No quería mayonesa... . es necesario que indique qué opciones saludables están disponibles y no debería haberse puesto mayonesa sin preguntar... lo arruinó y tuve que esperar tanto tiempo solo lo tomé pero no volveré a ir allí...

21/06/2025: Literally the worst "cafe" in the country. Everything is microwaved, nothing is fresh. The garbage food is also overpriced. The staff are rude and unhelpful, they seem to enjoy being unpleasant. The staff are incompetent and can't make decent cappuccino, always boiling hot. They are extremely lucky with the location, located in a gym, because they'd have closed years ago anywhere else.

13/07/2025: An absolute disgrace of a venue charging €20 admission to a mediocre venue on a saturday night. When you think of value for money and the level of service there's absolutely no way this venue warrants such an entrance fee. You wouldn't pay that in Cork, Limerick or Dublin City. I was down for the night with friends and having arrived around midnight I actually couldn't believe my eyes when they said €20 per person for admission. The 6 of us decided instead to go the grand next door much better offering and only €10 admission. Would not recommend to anyone visiting Killarney unless you're looking to get ripped off.!

02/08/2025: Worst flat white I've had in ages, really weak. Considered going back and asking for an additional espresso shot but that would have brought it to€4.65 for a forgettable coffee.

07/09/2025: Not great service booked for 8 people showed up ordered food and then came back few minutes later saying didn't have enough staff for the kitchen

07/09/2025: Not good Chinese Found a hair in my food and My chicken was raw Don't recommend and staff was not nice After I showed Them the hair and My chicken raw STAY AWAY 🤢🤢🤢🤢

17/05/2025: Just back from having my car cleaned here. Have to spend another half hour myself cleaning it as it wasn’t done right, with dirty marks left all over. Worst car wash in the surrounding area. Won’t be returning ! And for the pleasure of handing over €14 for it, which is also one of the more expensive ones around. They need to be trained how to clean cars …

29/04/2025: Was there a few times when the manager was there and the manager screamed at his employee saying get out of his shop and fill up someone’s car with petrol/diesel I was shocked and haven’t gone back since would not recommend going to this garage

05/07/2025: Horrible food. Literally no taste whatsoever. I have eaten at other Abra locations and this is thr worst of all. Shawarma was HORRIBLE. Cold bread, lettuce was so biggggg and then the chicken had no taste. Never eating from here again!!!!!! Literally had to throw the sharwama in the bin.

19/06/2025: I had a deeply disappointing experience at this Subway location. Staff were treated unfairly and spoken to in a disrespectful manner. In particular, I witnessed employees being verbally mistreated and racially stereotyped, including offensive comments towards Indian staff. Additionally, I observed unsanitary food handling, including reusing bread that had already been served to other customers. These practices raise serious concerns about both workplace ethics and food safety standards. I hope Subway headquarters seriously reviews the conduct of this franchise and protects both customers and employees.

09/06/2025: Closed early. Sign on door says 9 arrived at 8:15 and turned away.

23/09/2025: Pastry is dense and not fresh, beverage is cold. Everything is obviously defrosted and old. Don’t waste your time coming here!

20/07/2025: Order a large pepperoni pizza and the size was the size of a coca cola can it would definitely be a small anywhere else. Sadly it was also inedible, greasy, hard, was a random place to pick some lunch but never again

16/05/2025: Very Disappointed haven't ordered food for awhile as the last order was cooled just give it another try burnt food is not what any restaurant should serve to customers if they want return business forgot rice so had to drive back to get the rice Terrible service

17/07/2025: Absolutely disgraceful customer service from the foreign woman behind the counter this evening. I arrived at 19:15, well before their advertised closing time of 20:00, only to be met with a shockingly rude attitude. When I asked if there was a menu, she didn’t even bother to speak and simply pointed behind her. Completely dismissive and unprofessional behaviour toward a customer. I went over to the kiosk just to read the menu more clearly, and staff started shouting at me that the machine could not be used. I explained that I was only reading the menu from the screen and not trying to order from it, but they showed no courtesy or patience whatsoever. A few minutes later, when we went to place our order, we were told the ovens had been turned off and they wouldn’t be taking any more orders. This was 45 minutes before closing time. Why wasn’t this mentioned the moment I walked in? Either the staff deliberately didn’t want to serve us, or they simply couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs. I asked another man working in the Spar section of the shop why orders weren’t being taken. He said I couldn’t order from the machine. I explained again that I wasn’t trying to order from the machine but from the counter, as instructed, yet they were still refusing to take orders. He then said that the woman was “probably tired.” What kind of response is that? I’m confused… are you closing early or simply too tired to serve customers? English isn’t his first language, so I understand there may have been some confusion, as he kept insisting I could still order at the counter. I tried explaining that this wasn’t possible because the staff had already refused to serve us. The two women behind the counter were clearly more interested in chatting about us than helping us. Their overall attitude was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service skills. Judging by other reviews, this isn’t an isolated incident but a recurring problem. Management seriously needs to address this staff behaviour if they care at all about their reputation. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience.

15/06/2025: A very rude blonde foreign lady, they had placed food ready on the counter and by mistake I took the wrong order even though i was the only one in the shop.. then she was giving out to me... not acceptable , I've spent 47euros on my order giving them business and the service i got was not acceptable ..

14/08/2025: Ordered online - Prawn Korma, Naan bread, Poppadams ... I received 6 tiny, tough prawns which I had to search for in the sauce, burned Naan bread and Poppadams that weren't even close to the FREE ones most Indian takeaways include with your order. These ones were not fully crispy and had a slightly fishy aftertaste, as if cooked in oil that had been used for a seafood dish. Avoid like the plague.

15/04/2025: As all the other reviews say, absolutely abysmal food - half the menu isn’t even available. I haven’t had such bad fast food since I was 10 at a birthday party in the 90s.

17/08/2025: Would like to update my previous review since I was here again recently. I always think you cant judge on first impressions, but NO still avoid at all costs, no matter how drunk you are, you just do not want to eat here, I would almost recommend people to come here so they know never to go again. Just go home and slap some freezer food in the microwave, its the same thing. There is fast food then there is 30 seconds after you order fast food. Not sure what cheap meat they use but everything just tastes like eating water. I guess their peak times are early in the morning when young drunk people want food, but it's gonna make your hangover much worse 🚽

15/08/2025: Don’t mind the 1 star reviews, the food is great and guys are really friendly and do as much as they can while dealing with people after night out, place is in one of the busiest area in Dublin, several pubs and massive night club few meters away. Been going there for years, food is solid, portions are good size, best taco fries in Dublin!
