The best restaurants

02/01/2025: You quite literally have to ask the staff to get up from sitting on their phone in order to get served. As someone who's been here several times over the years. I'm not remotely surprised as the service has always been shocking. It's the opposite of everything a local bakery should be.

23/11/2024: Great coffees and treats. Had a macaroon with our drinks.

28/08/2024: Super tasty fish & chips, fresh and large portions. The chips without fish were also large. Whole family full and happy for just over €40 😀

17/08/2024: Ordered Doner kebab and a small chip worst kebab I've ever had the meat was cut into the tiniest pieces and very little of it and it was barely warm. Never again.

08/12/2024: ***Posting for my Dad*** My wife and I spent Friday and Saturday night in Tracy’s West County hotel Ennis and to keep my review simple if I won a free stay at the hotel I’d give it to somebody I don’t like. The restaurant would make Faulty Towers look like the Trump Plaza. Thankfully we found the neighbouring bar The Halfway House which saved the weekend.

15/10/2024: Unfortunately the rooms are really bad😔 especially the bathroom was really a challenge. The faucet was not tight/defective. Water was running all the time. The floor tiles were all loose and the joints were no longer there and the floor was dirty. Room is freezing cold, the heating doesn't work. We were very disappointed! We had room 333 😔. Even though the tour guide complained about it, nothing happened… so it doesn’t matter. THE PUB IS GREAT!

24/12/2024: absolutely filthy food, seriously do not recommend, i got a garlic cheese chips but there was feck all of the garlic or cheese and my friend got a taco and there was no mince and the sauce looked like un-cooked egg, absolutely vile

18/12/2024: Chicken kebab with just loadssss of cheese and taco sauce is STUNNING,,,,:)

16/08/2024: Experiencia absolutamente abominable. Esperamos dos horas por nuestra comida - mi estómago gruñó más fuerte que un pub en la calle. Día de Patrick. La comida nunca apareció. El equipo de servicio al cliente hizo un voto de silencio y me colgó. No solo mi comida nunca apareció, el equipo de servicio al cliente me dio una clase magistral de grosería que diría que merecen una medalla de oro en decepcionar a los clientes. Evite a menos que disfrute de morir de hambre y ser ignorado

22/12/2024: Very bad went to pick up my order was not ready but online said is ready got the order go home and then open the pizza with sweet sauce instead of tomato sauce very disappointed

07/12/2024: Ordered a pizza for delivery and the driver was extremely rude and angry. He rang my phone sounded very mad and said can you open your door I’m here ringing your doorbell. I went to the door and he says I’m here ringing your door bell (angry tone) and I told the delivery driver my door bell doesn’t work is that okay ? and he gave me a rude filthy look and shoved the pizza at me and walked away… I’m usually not one to bother write a bad review but he was scary and I couldn’t eat my pizza without thinking of how rude the driver is. He has a big blonde and brown beard and is foreign.

07/01/2025: Chicken fillet burger was real stretchy and fatty when your biting into it not mentioning the food being absolutely freezing when you get a delivery chips looked and tasted greasy looks like the oil hasnt been cleaned din the fryer in about two weeks always forgetting items on delivery this is the third time I have had this issue and I do not recommend. AVOID

16/11/2024: I will never order from them again. I ordered a take away I was told it would be 30mins which I believe is acceptable. I went off to have a shower. When I came out of shower I noticed a missed call. 16mins after placing the order. The driver had driven away. I spoke with him later he said he was outside my place for 10mins which would make it 6mins after I placed the order. Lies lies and more lies. An hour later still no food. I want down to the shop. All I got was attitude from the staff member. As for as he was concerned it was not his fault it was mine.

10/12/2024: I had a terrible experience at this restaurant from the moment I walked in. The staff were extremely rude and lacked basic manners. We decided to try Chicking for the first time based on recommendations from friends, but it was a huge disappointment. When we asked simple questions, the staff showed no respect towards us as customers. On top of that, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, the server pushed the plate towards us in a dismissive manner. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

28/11/2024: Incredibile how a portion of chips is now 4.50eur. they never give you a receipt and they also chip out on the size of a single chips portion. I was literally able to count the chips in the bag.

19/10/2024: My delivery order was declined after payment with no contact. I can only assume this was due to my delivery area (Ballymun) and not because a product was out of stock, as 99% of takeaways will call to ask if they can substitute to avoid losing business. This was my first time ordering from them, so I guess they don't care about attracting new customers.

14/12/2024: Not from the area, but I ordered food at 11.45 pm and the last orders of delivery was at 1am, I waited a full hour and 20 mins for the food so I decided to ring them and no answer 🤦 shocking place to order from if I was anyone I'd avoid!!

24/11/2024: Nowhere to park. Plenty of seats inside. Best pizza in town.

12/12/2024: The staff left us waitin at the the till for at least 5 mins only to tell us take away only that the forecourt closes at 7 extremely rude and proceeded to shut both myself and my friend down when we asked why they left us waiting that long

05/12/2024: The website is absolutely unworkable, for starters. We've ordered and visited in the past, gotten wrong food and missing items many times, stopped going as a result. We ordered food online again today to give another chance since little else was open. The order was accepted an entire hour ago, its been 30 minutes since food was supposed to be here, app says it could be another hour until we get our food. We cancelled the order, hopefully a refund is available since we never even got a whiff of the food. Don't waste your time, your better off finding your next meal at the bottom of a trashbin.

17/12/2024: Went for the new spice box meal deal. You get the spice box, which is the weight of a small child or Chihuahua. Hearty portion indeed. And a pot of curry sauce and a can of Coke. All for the wallet friendly sum of €12. Now. This was my first Spice Box experience so I might be slightly biased. But what an incredible culinary take away journey I went on. Finished the lot. Perfectly spiced hearty chips, crispy and fried to perfection. I was surprised to find it all nestled on top of a delightful bed of chow mein. The crispy chicken and chicken balls paired well with the crunchy vegetables. The delight of the curry sauce. All served pipping hot. Would go again. Maybe tomorrow. Depends where the wind takes me. Solid spice box. Go on, spice up your life. Take me down to Canton City where the Spice Box taste great and the sauce is pretty.

08/12/2024: Got take out from here recently while on vacation- the food was excellent, it was quick to get our food, and the staff were great! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick and comforting meal at an affordable price

11/08/2024: I would not go back!! The service was horrendous and the food disgusting and the price of the food was ridiculous!! We do not understand how this place is still opened. Take my advice,safe your money and never eat out of here
