The best restaurants

18/02/2025: They let some lads in with only some photo evidence of there age but some lads with ample proof but lack of physical evidence where blocked because one lad said no and where left outside for 5 hours. It was also over run by roughly 50 15 year old girls being preyed on by weird old men a danger to the local community in the make.

18/02/2025: The guards are really rude and incompetent they can't even read ids correctly and will turn you away if they think your not fit to enter but they will always allow entry for under age girls as they are there main clients along with weird old men who take the underage girls home

31/03/2025: Spent €50 on food for myself and my partner to only end up with food poisoning, the wings were disgusting and there loaded fries were horrible wouldn’t ever recommend this place, I can’t speak for the other vans but the clontarf one is shocking

02/02/2025: We usually get their margarita pizza which is really nice. I wanted to try one of their wraps with chicken -cant remember the name as i pointed it out from a picture on their menu, and got something different to the picture but it was still O.K. i think it came with the hashbrowns with it, which was also O.K. The wraps, for me, were a 3 out of 5. The taste was fine but it wasnt anything special. But for a margarita pizza lover, their pizzas would very safely get a 4.5 out of 5. Would recommend for cheese pizzas 🙌🏼

19/01/2025: Very disappointed by the size of the "large chips". It was a very mean bag of chips compared to other chippers near by, or the old chipper that was here. I know costs are up in the world but I'm sure at €3.80 for a bag of chips you could afford to throw another potato in the pot. Apart from that the chips where nice to be fair and the shop is looking very well. Its a new business in the area and it's very welcome I would like to see them succeed. I Hope it can be taken as constructive criticism and help improve business for you. People hunt for quality and value in equal measure and there's lots of alternatives in swords so you need to tick both boxes or people will go elsewhere. Looking forward to an extra potato in my bag. 02/03/2025: I’m pregnant and made the mistake to get food here without reading the reviews and now I’m scared I might get food poisoning. The food is old and clearly reheated. The chicken was like rubber. The chips were old. This is crazy since we ordered an hour after they opened which means they just reuse food from the previous days. Why can’t they just make the food fresh? People don’t mind waiting. This place needs to be shut down / change management.

27/02/2025: What a dump chips reheated and taste like fish pizza had a weird taste but the can of club orange was 100% even if it was club zero and not to be sold separate KEEP AWAY thankful I didn’t get any meat

07/03/2025: Terrible experience here, got pizza on valentines day 2025 and one side was burnt and other side not cooked properly, as I had ordered on Just Eat, they told me ask them to cancel but as it was delivered, the order was done so I have not gotten a refund. I will post pictures if able but will never order again from here, ever, unfortunately as otherwise they are nice owners and staff that I like but food is just not good, sorry.....

01/02/2025: I was with my cousin and brother, and I wanted to take her here for a good experience since she was new here. When I arrived I ordered a simple chips and chicken nuggets the guy didn't even take my money at the order section just over the counter. it was taking awhile and my cousin was getting hungry so I asked them if my order was ready like where's my food (I hate confrontation) they gave me free cheese chips for the wait but then I asked for what I ordered and the man pointed at the chips shouting "we gave you your food." Then I told him this isn't what I ordered and he shouted saying "these kids are crazy" pr someting like that and some other things I didn't hear him but that's what my cousin heard. I ended up leaving cause I felt embarrassed (never got my change or money back.) Honestly very rude and bad service food is good not great though.

20/10/2024: Wouldn’t let me in, just stereotyped me for no reason while i’ve been there before and the bouncers they couldn’t even let a word out, assuming they were intoxicated

20/10/2024: Horrible place to go to. Bouncers always argue over something he also seemed to be intoxicated as he could not speak properly to me.They like to discriminate people of colour. Wouldn’t let my boyfriend in because of how he was dressed but they let him in previously dressed the same but it says no where about a dress policy??place is just full of illegal substances if you want a good night just avoid this place it’s just dirty.

07/12/2024: Not a great place for a nice meal. The price was standard but the quality of the meal was a disappointment. I ordered a carbonara and it was penne pasta floating in cream with half cooked bacon lardons and the ratio was 1 pasta to 3 bacon bits. My partner ordered the chicken supreme and the portion would barely feed a child, the mash was more cream than potatoes and the whole dish was as dry. Wouldn’t recommend the restaurant unless your standards are incredibly low… would definitely find much nicer food in Cork city…

17/02/2025: Waterford City Square- Was here today , took over half an hour to get 1 bag of chips. One order ahead of me and no que. Service was appalling. Had to ask twice to ask where the food was. When received they were over cooked and burnt… Took photos as proof but there’s no option to upload .

18/11/2024: Doesn't matter when you arrive within the times posted they are all magically closed. Today is a 6pm close on a Monday night. But they were closed at 4.55pm.

23/03/2025: Cheap and nasty practice. I top up Gas here regularly and they have decided to surcharge every swipe as individual extra charges. This is new. The max amount Utility companies allow you to top up on card is €50 so this business has decided to start adding additional cost on to their customers when they did not previously.

22/02/2025: Sort out that deli no cheese no lettuce all the cold meats is all old hard dry and the liquid from the red chicken shit in the bowl is going off due to the liquid pisssing out of it why have a lettuce bowl on display with was empty either remove it or replace it shocking !

24/02/2025: Disgusting 🤮 going years to this and new cooks now and they need to be fired as soon as possible

14/12/2024: I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. To start, some of the food I was served was raw, which was really concerning, especially since it was a chicken dish. On the other hand, some of the other items were overcooked and dry, making them pretty hard to enjoy. It felt like the kitchen wasn’t paying attention to the quality of the dishes, and it completely ruined my meal. What made things worse was the behavior of a teenager in the back. They kept giving me dirty looks throughout my entire wait, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. It’s one thing to have a bad meal, but to feel disrespected by the staff adds insult to injury. Overall, this visit was a huge letdown, and I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. I hope they work on both their food quality and customer service, as both were lacking during my experience. Would not recommend based on this visit.

05/04/2025: Arrived at 11, place seemed clean for once however they were out of glazed donuts. Ordered 4 donuts with sprinkles, both tasted nice but serious quality control issues as they were all different shapes and sizes!

17/03/2025: Doghnuts were good, but the place is so filthy. Tables and chairs are covered in black sticky substance. It makes me wonder if kitchen is the same. Not sure if the donuts are made on site, but will never go back again.
