The best restaurants

11/08/2025: Went for afternoon tea, the setting was beautiful and so relaxing with the piano being played in the background. The staff were all excellent and the coffee was delicious.

01/08/2025: The Art Afternoon tea was such a lovely experience - the food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented in luxurious surroundings. The second serving of the deserts which are intricately designed to complement the hotel's beautiful art collection is a lovely addition. The service was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

14/10/2024: A fan of breakfasts I heartily recommend having one here. Their main courses get a delicious in my book too. Great service with a smile and when more familiar with you, banter to enjoy. Well worth the time to stop for a break from whatever your days involves. 😊 Monday 14 Oct Stopped for a coffee and ye were closed! 😱 Are you OK? Is all good? Trusting there's nothing concerning happened. Hope you get this to let me know that things are OK! 👍

18/09/2024: We stopped for a coffee and ended up having breakfast because the place looked great and the girls who ran it were so friendly. The French omelet with ham and cheese was delicious.

01/08/2026: Never ever again will I order from here! If you like your natural teeth, then stay away from the chips! They were freezing cold, looked like they were left under a heater for hours and you could hear the noise off the chip hitting the ground! The salt & chilli chicken wings had no spice on them and were soggy. The chicken curry had more peas & onions in it than chicken itself! Note to self, save yourself the few bob and make your own or order elsewhere. The only decent thing was the egg fried rice & prawn crackers.

01/08/2026: No breast of chicken curry. Only chicken curry not great ok.. chicken balls very small. I think you need to make sauce thicker not sticking to food. Look not bad

20/07/2026: Lovely, charming pub situated in the middle class areas of Coolock/ Darndale. The premises is refined and luxurious with comfy seats, Parisian inspired decor and high ceilings. The clientele is mainly mixed featuring electic groups of academics, bohemians and movers and shakers all ready for an intellectual discussions and lively wit. Prices are slightly higher than most but given the exclusive area and beautiful surroundings, it's no biggie. All in all, if you value beautiful surroundings, exquisite company and fine wines then I'd highly recommend a visit to this most contemporary of establishments.

22/11/2024: Literally the best tasting cake I ever had. Also I'm delighted with how it looked and, most importantly, my daughter loved it!
