The best restaurants

29/10/2025: Never had anything but good food from Rama. If they are very busy they will advise that it may take a little longer for delivery but the food always arrives hot. The best takeaway outlet in the town. Staff are very friendly too.

20/04/2025: We had a family lunch on Easter Sunday in Hugo’s Restaurant. Rayon and Saibhe provided excellent service. The food was delicious and the set menu was good value. There was entertainment for children in the hotel ballroom which was a nice touch and my daughter loved the face-painting and balloon making. Overall a lovely lunch experience.

12/09/2025: The worst place I've ever got a take away from the food was cold the chicken was raw the staff r ignorant delivery takes hours avoid at all costs

28/05/2025: Ordered a cake for my daughters 21st from the quigleys website. Very easy process and cake was absolutely beautiful. Looked great and tasted great. Couldnt have been happier. Really recommend to anyone who is considering using them. Thank you very much quigleys.

02/01/2026: Food is really good but the menu and service are not great. Ordered chicken kebab meals with curry cheese chips and was told that they can’t do this and I’d have to order the items separately. No problem, ordered separately. Arrived home to chicken kebab trays (not chicken kebabs) and one curry cheese chips and one just cheese chips, no curry. Called them to let them know the order was wrong. Was told that they don’t do chicken kebabs (it’s on the menu) and that I’d be reimbursed for the mistake. When I called back with my cheese chips in search of curry sauce I asked what was the difference between a chicken kebab tray and a chicken kebab meal, was told that the meal is just a chicken kebab tray with an extra portion of chips (so a kebab tray with chips and another portion of chips for an extra 6.50 doesn’t make much sense). I was not reimbursed for any of the mistakes but at least I left with my missing curry sauce. That being said, the food was really good and the kebab tray is actually lovely, was just craving a real kebab. Might be time to update the menu and let people know you can’t actually order a kebab meal like in every other chipper in the country.

18/09/2025: Not due to close until 21:00 got there at 20:15 and closed, lots of cars pulling in to get takeaway and shut !!! Very disappointing as too late to go to shop everything closed.

03/08/2025: Owner/manager/cook came and said hello to everyone in the room but us. Thrice. She just decided we’re not interesting enough for her time. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Younger staff is very nice though. Big portions. Normal food, dont expect too much. Not great, not terrible grandma food. we had a starter, a main and a drink and paid 58 euros.

06/07/2025: No hot food after 3 which is a pity. Lovely surroundings though. Hope to try again at some stage. Place is pet friendly on the terrace.

02/06/2025: Stopped for a bank holiday lunch for family of 6 . Menu options limited - lasagne and chowder on menu not available . Roast of the day was beef - @ 17.50 , mash carrots and parsnips and a chunk of gravy coated roast beef presented. Beef absolutely inedible , extremely tough . We watched another table struggle to cut it also . We alerted the waitress twice to the fact it was inedible , she apologised but no alternative was offered . As we had prepaid there wasn’t an opportunity to discuss again . So disappointed and not cheap for self service .

25/11/2025: Words cannot even begin to describe this place, I can't speak for the food, however, the hot chocolate from this place is the absolute best I've ever tried. It's been 2 years since I've been to Dublin and every time I have hot chocolate I think of this place. I truly believe this might be the best hot chocolate I'll ever try in my lifetime. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who enjoys a good cup of hot chocolate. The staff is so friendly and they were the ones who ended up convincing me to get a cup, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious beyond comparison the cup was. It was like nothing I had ever tried before. This was a cup of more than hot chocolate, it was a cup of nostalgia, warmth, and sweetness. With a single sip I could feel my eyes light up as I looked at my friend and told him "This is the best hot chocolate I've ever tried". I don't normally go out of my way to post reviews but I had to make an exception this time. I hope this review is helpful.

01/07/2025: Frank and Honest Grange Road Centre Dublín ... oh Dios mío, estoy tan enojado con esta basura. Mi café favorito es F&H, pero hay un concierto que no es mi asunto, estoy de paso y solo quería tomar un café y usar el baño. Bueno, Caragh (el miembro del personal más ignorante que tuve la desgracia de conocer) fue muy grosero. Como estoy sola, fui al baño de la calle 1 antes de hacer el pedido. ¡Oh, muchacho! Eso fue un gran error. Ella me gritó que saliera de la cola y pidiera una calle. Amablemente pedí usar el baño y necesito un café que tomaré después del baño. Para resumir, me acosaron, me intimidaron y me humillaron frente a otros clientes, así que fui al mostrador, pagué 4 € por un café con leche normal (caro) y pedí que me lo prepararan después de ir al baño. ¡NO! ! Tuve que volver a unirme a la cola al final, mientras mi café con leche se estaba enfriando. 15 minutos de cola y 4€ para usar el baño y los baños eran una vergüenza. No dejaría que mi perro fuera al baño allí. Luego, a disfrutar de un café con leche frío mientras estábamos afuera, ya que no podían proporcionarnos un asiento. Si te avergüenzas fácilmente y no te importa que te traten como a un niño pequeño atrevido, entonces este es tu lugar, de lo contrario, es un BASURERO, EVÍTALO, SUCIO. PERSONAL IGNORANTE al que no le importan los clientes.
