16/11/2024: I love this bar. Lovely vibe. Great to for a pint in the afternoon and the staff are generally lovely. However, my friend came here wasn’t drinking but had Guinness zero and was part of a larger group and 4 rounds in asked for another Guinness zero as part of the round, which the staff had earlier produced with no issue, change of bar staff and was told no Guinness Zero as it was located in the other section of the bar and to quote the bar man when questioned as to why Guinness Zero couldn’t be got, when the other staff members had provided it he said “I’m not that guy!” - clearly not, terrible experience!

03/08/2024: Este es un buen lugar para tomar café y para reunirse con amigos y relajarse. También disfrutamos de su variedad de bocadillos y pasteles. El servicio fue muy bueno.

11/09/2024: Fue asaltado aquí por 5 miembros del personal cuando pedimos usar el baño, después de que nos sirvieron la comida. No te acerques. Gente horrible. Me agredí a mí y a la chica con la que estaba.

08/06/2024: Esta es la mejor tienda de kebabs de la ciudad. Ha existido durante años y nunca una vez me ha decepcionado. Conocido por todos los habitantes de Galway como el mejor del negocio, con una amplia gama de comida para todos. Mi ir para llevar.

11/07/2025: I have been going to Susie since it was in Charlestown . I’d come in with my colleagues almost every Friday since it was literally a block away from our office. Their location in Charlestown has been replaced with a new café that does not compare to Susie‘s at all! Susie’s bistro never disappoints 🙌🏼🙌🏼 from the dishes they serve to the friendly service I always leave knowing I’ll be back. Even with Suzie’s Bistro changing locations from Charlestown to the Tubbecurry Golf Course the food and service has never changed😊 Still, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The new location is spacious and most of the time their tables are reserved. Thankfully, last time I came on a Friday with one of my colleagues there was a two seat table available for us. The amount of food that I had lasted me all day. It was a perfect meal. And of course, I will definitely be back in the future 🤤

13/05/2025: EL pub en Dublín - Se siente como en casa! Histórico, encantador pub vintage de la vieja escuela con el famoso Snug! Seguro que el mejor pin Guinness (ssss) que he probado, tan fresco, cremoso y perfectamente aprovechado por bartenders muy agradables, amables y divertidos! Conocí nuevos amigos irlandeses nacidos y vivos en The Snug; ¡una de las mejores noches que he tenido! Como me dijo el muchacho irlandés: ¡Eres más irlandés que el ppl más irlandés!” ¡Gracias por recibirnos!

22/03/2024: This cafe used to be a regular stop for me for coffee and/or food. Since Covid, I've been an infrequent visitor. What a change. And not for the good. Yes, the coffee is good. And possibly anything else that doesn't require the input of a cook. My scrambled eggs were a travesty on a plate. Basic cooking techniques absent. The eggs were not whisked properly and so seriously overcooked (burnt edges) The staff are friendly, and keen to help. But when a server coughs frequently without any attempt to cover their mouth it begs the question what training, if any, these people have been given? This does not bode well for Idlewilde. I hope positive changes are made.

16/09/2024: terrible service new lady forgot my order then accused me for not paying she was forgetting multiple people's orders in line too. Didnt seem trained shouldnt be left alone in the stall to mess up everyones orders

30/08/2024: We need this chippie where I live. Fast, cheap, convenient and very very tasty. Best fish & chips in a very long time. The lady who served us was very accommodating and the nicest. Cod & chips and bread & butter on a bench watching the sea. Wonderful

19/09/2024: family dinner great gathering special occasion. been here several times lovely food, inexpensive and great staff. next time we are home visiting will be back. gorgeous
