25/12/2025: Very decadent and impressive christmas dinner! We had an amazing time and the food was amazing. Will definitely do it again, highly recommend. Oreo coffee Cheesecake was my favorite! Fast and Friendly service too, constantly checking up if all was fine and food was served quickly even with a full house. Cost atmosphere too. 10/10

05/08/2025: You need a reservation for it. The wine list is decent too and the food is not bad either. Try it out if you are around. Staff is super nice and friendly.

09/10/2025: While my first time visiting Nenagh, while waiting for my bus decided to go in for a tea. The service was very polite and they took pride in not letting me pay for it just to add to my good memories about the visit. Much appreciated.

08/09/2025: We (two normal couples from Austria) were there on a Sunday evening. Only locals were served, and the owner deliberately ignored us. They didn't even greet us or speak to us. An absolute no-go.

04/10/2025: Got 3 different meals got all of them wrong. The first one was a kids pancakes, on the menu it said it came with Nutella guess what no Nutella. 2nd thing was a sausage sandwich the sausages were cold. Gave it back and it came with no ketchup. 3rd thing was a sandwich with chicken and other stuff we got the complete wrong sandwich. Overall thus was not worth €30

26/07/2025: Waited 30 minutes for a bag of chips, man serving us rolled his eyes when I asked if he could hurry up as there was nobody else in the shop, they came cold and unsalted and hard. Do not waste your time here!

12/07/2025: 1 star for refusing to give my daughter cold water and being rude about it.

29/06/2025: Viajamos aquí para un almuerzo tardío, el aparcamiento subterráneo gratuito era muy apreciado ya que estaba lloviendo. El restaurante estaba ocupado, nos mostraron a una mesa encantadora, nuestra comida llegó rápidamente, el personal era eficiente y amable, el lugar estaba limpio y disfrutamos de nuestra comida.

29/03/2025: Tomamos una cerveza y luego pedimos nuestra comida, un ñoquis de nuez y un pollo tikka Masala, y 2 copas de vino. Los ñoquis llegaron después de unos 15 minutos, pero no hay señales del tikka Masala. Cuando el vino estaba siendo servido le preguntamos a una camarera si la 2a comida iba a venir, ella nos aseguró que era. 10 minutos después le llamé la atención y le pregunté la comida, sospecho que fue entonces cuando se dieron cuenta de que la orden no había pasado. Pasaron otros 10 15 minutos Antes de que llegara la comida, en esta etapa había terminado los ñoquis. Preguntamos por el gerente pero nos dijeron que iba a cenar. Qué suerte. Nos ofrecieron bebida gratis, luego a regañadientes nos ofrecieron comida complementaria. Esta no es la primera vez que hemos tenido problemas en los últimos 20 años, pero seguimos volviendo porque la comida y el vino son buenos. ¡Pero nos fuimos sin la segunda comida y esta vez no volveremos!

15/07/2025: Lovely traditional Irish pub. Doesn't seem extraordinary from the outside but there's a lovely, cosy atmosphere inside. There were several pensioners playing cards at the table beside us, which was lovely to see. Service was quick and friendly. I also really liked how all the spirits had clear, individual prices on the shelves... and the Guinness was top notch. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting Ballina.

29/05/2025: We had dinner in this famous bar located in the same Portmarnock Hotel & Golf links. First impression was that it's more a bar/pub than a restaurant. But we finally concluded that the food was so good that it didn't matter at all. We shared their crispy chicken wings which were amazing, with an extraordinary Jameson & ginger ale sauce. And then, two marvellous Kerrigan's Rib eye steaks. One of the best beefs we've never ever tasted. Gorgeous. Not cheap, of course but worth every Euro. Highkly recommendable
