The best restaurants

15/03/2025: "Made in Dingle" is here! I visited here on the recommendation of my host while staying at Ballyferriter (she also uses the products here, which shows her love for the local area). The ceramics and masks are beautifully shaped in beautiful blue, black, red, and white themes. Have fun finding your favorite colors and imagining how you can use each piece. Since I was in the middle of a trip, I refrained from purchasing it (I didn't want to break it), but it's worth just looking at it like a museum. We also sell local salt, beautiful marble-like soap, and books by local authors. It's a good idea to choose souvenirs here instead of in Dingle town. Tá sé go hálainn 🇮🇪

19/12/2024: Disappointed with food standard. Ordered the Chicken and Stuffing Wrap with chips. Wrap was cold and hard, 2 small breaded chicken goujons and a smear of stuffing. Slow service also, as appeared to be understaffed. Not good value for money. Portions have decreased and the cost does not reflect.

22/10/2024: We arrived for a late lunch and were extremely disappointed. The meals were okay nothing outstanding. Desserts were disappointing and very high priced. To top it off there was little or no service. Every time we wanted tea, dessert, or the check, we had to search for to find someone. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

13/10/2024: As always the Tassie made five of us very satisfied with our meal, four of us going for the Turkey and Ham and what a substantial meal with loads of mash and veg on the table. We even topped off with dessert and delicious wouldn't do it justice. The staff are always so pleasant from the minute you enter the door and with a wedding on as well doesn't affect the level of hospitality. Indeed I've been going here whenever possible when in Letterkenny for many years now, and it's never failed to do themselves proud . Thanks once again.

15/10/2023: Looked at the match All Blacks and Ireland. Great atmosphere. The result was not the one we wanted. But a great Irish team. The pints went down well. Kevin C.

05/12/2024: The food here is not great. Not great at all. I ordered a Caesar Salad. The salad was soggy, smothered in sauce with horrible turkey bacon. Very odd taste. The chef should taste their own food, because you could make a much better one at home. Truly awful. I mean how difficult is it to serve fresh crunchy salad.

28/04/2024: great spot for casual dinner, good choice, well cooked. Great staff and really good drinks menu. The pan fried cod was exceptional.

16/03/2025: My wife and I were not impressed at all with Henry's. The waiter who served us was an absolute gentleman and explained the lunches available. I ordered grilled chicken with pepper sauce, skinny fries and a salad. When the meal arrived it was pan fried chicken half the size of a normal chicken breast fillet, portion of skinny fries and a small tub of coleslaw that was supposedly the salad. The waiter apologised and said the coleslaw is the salad and that he has to serve it. On top of that, when I went to pay the lady who was at the till I assumed to be the owner/ manager was extremely obnoxious and aggressive and especially demanding what form of payment one would use to pay for the meal. I will honestly give a five star recommendation - avoid like the plague and drive past this place to a far better restaurant with better food, atmosphere and all round pleasing experience. Avoid

18/01/2025: Sunday lunch here would not disappoint. Friendly and chatty local staff, partner and myself had 2 roast dinners, a turkey and a toast beef. Food was out so fast, great portion sizes and they happily gave us extra gravy. Do not go past without trying the sticky toffee pudding, so fresh and spongey and clearly homemade
