04/05/2025: Siempre demasiado lleno e imposible de entrar. He intentado entrar varias veces pero siempre lleno. Si tienes suerte y entras las comidas están bien, pero las bebidas son limitadas 2 bebidas / estancia

30/04/2025: Worst experience ever in an airport lounge. Don’t come here if you are thinking of a nice relaxing way to start your holiday / journey. I had complementary access which took the pain out the €40 we paid for my wife. Staff unhelpful and disinterested apart from the bull dog who was responsible for guarding the valuable two complementary drinks rule ! Her wonderful customer service was to ask every customer if this was their second drink and then argue with you about the need for a mixer which she never provided. Food very limited and there a good few hours in the fridge. Was more than happy to go down to the bar and pay full price. At least the staff seemed interested. Scored a one because I can’t give a lower score !

12/06/2024: Loved this place! Reminded me of Steak & Shake in the states. Food was close to American but just different enough to let you know you're in Ireland! Would definitely visit again if I ever get back to Galway.

02/06/2025: The food here is amazing. It’s the nicest chipper I have ever tasted. The chips arnt greasy. The chips are lovely and fluffy and the quality of the food is great. The whole family also think their chips are the nicest around. The menu has a great variety and they also do milkshakes. The food is reasonably priced and the portion sizes are generous. Lovely friendly staff and family owned. A great community.

19/08/2025: I recently played two rounds at Mount Juliet during a short trip home — teeing off at 4:00 PM one day and again at 8:20 AM the next morning. I spent over €400 between green fees and buggy hire, expecting a top-tier golfing experience. Unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. The front nine on both days was significantly disrupted by maintenance work. Grounds staff were actively working on most holes, and a maintenance vehicle followed me for three consecutive holes. Every time I lined up a shot, the vehicle’s engine would idle or start nearby — whether intentional or not, it was incredibly distracting and took away from the experience. Several bunkers were also in noticeably poor condition, which is surprising given the high standard Mount Juliet is known for. The worst part, however, was the buggy I hired for €60. It couldn’t reverse and had to be physically pushed multiple times during the round — completely unacceptable for a course charging these kinds of premium rates. I emailed the club three times over the course of more than two weeks and received no response. I had hoped for at least an acknowledgment, if not a goodwill gesture like a voucher or future round — especially as I won’t have time to return this trip. I’ve played Mount Juliet regularly when home, and I was genuinely looking forward to this visit. Sadly, the experience and lack of customer service were a real letdown.

02/08/2025: Recién llegado a casa un rato después de un gran día jugando Mount Juliet... me encantó el campo, aunque tal vez sea fácil decirlo después de disparar 79 gross / 39 pts. Los greens eran excelentes y el campo superó mis expectativas. . . sí, algunos trozos irregulares en calles, PERO el campo en general se veía muy bien y los greens eran excelentes. Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos... el personal era increíble. Jovencita en la tienda profesional era acogedor, charlatán y servicial. El joven que hace de titular era acogedor, informativo y charlatán . . el joven en el 10o también amable y charlatán - buenas bromas sobre el rugby y finalmente Amber fue excelente cuidando de nosotros durante nuestra comida. Ambos si disfrutamos del Butter Chicken & Fish & Chips respectivamente seguido del helado Ic Cream & Brownie postres.

26/05/2026: Service is very poor as we walked in an no one approached us or let us know where to sit! We ordered the steak sandwich and it was literally a lump of steak on bread? I have never in my life had a steak sandwich like that. It was expensive and lacked seasoning. We also asked for the steak to be medium rare but it was practically well done and chewy. Honestly a waste of money :/

26/05/2026: I went because it looks beautiful but my friend and I order a burger each and they took almost an hour and a half to bring them and that was only because we asked one of the waitress if our food was coming or not after we saw all the tables around us had already their meals even when they ordered after us. She took care of the situation but nobody came to ask if we still wanted our food and just brought it on the next 10 mins or less without apologising or acknowledging their mistake because they clearly had forgotten about it. After that, the waitress, Hannah, who solved the situation at first was the only one that took constant care of our service and was friendly but the whole situation delayed our plans and kept us hungry for a while. We both work in hospitality and we can understand delays or mistakes happen, but at least they could have asked if we still wanted the food and take accountability for the mistake.

30/04/2026: Freaking loved this place. Best pub experience we had in Ireland. And even though you'll the same three guys sitting at the bar, it's not a gay bar (that's an inside joke with those guys). Thanks fellas! We had a blast. Wish I was there right now.
