07/12/2024: Not a great place for a nice meal. The price was standard but the quality of the meal was a disappointment. I ordered a carbonara and it was penne pasta floating in cream with half cooked bacon lardons and the ratio was 1 pasta to 3 bacon bits. My partner ordered the chicken supreme and the portion would barely feed a child, the mash was more cream than potatoes and the whole dish was as dry. Wouldn’t recommend the restaurant unless your standards are incredibly low… would definitely find much nicer food in Cork city…

07/08/2024: Well what a shame !!! We drive 40 min to picknup ours pizza I was so exited to try something new. But I was so dissapointment! Just a waste of money and Petrol. WE ordered online so what it could go wrong I got Vegan pizza ( I am alergick for dairy) and garlick Fries. We came home I was exited for nothing open fries box surprise Chees all over my fries so dissapointment but other one on the way VEGAN pizza wasnt VEGAN at all was vegetarian after try to rang them of corse nobody picked up travel there is just not worth petrol !!! Never AGAIN!!!!! Be careful what you ordering
30/06/2024: Me and my family got a pizza meal deal I hear from my mom that this place would be nice be when my kids open up there pizza box there where a load of toe nails on my pizza I was very mad about this… when we opened our chips there was a sail swimming around in my chips I rang the place and they said it was my problem that a sail was swimming in my chips I was not happy… I drove all the way from cork to go down and complain about this incident and when I walk into the shop there was a man standing on the cooker I am now going to sue and the man on the cooker flashed me

04/01/2025: Staff very helpful and pleasant, the atmosphere it's cool, however the food could definitely be better. I got vegetable curry. The vegetables were onions, peppers, chickpea and greens beans. I do eat onions, but it was hard to eat all the onions that I got in my plate. Skinny fries were good though.
04/01/2025: On this cold and pleasant afternoon. We went to this restaurant at .... My girlfriend ordered a Vegetable Curry... it only had poorly prepared and badly fried onions, a horrible gastronomic experience. I ordered a beef stew... the sauce was pre-made. It shows the chef's lack of preparation. WE WILL NOT BE BACK

02/10/2024: Wrong food in bag 25 mins drive home so 25 back in , just to be charged more for what I wanted , never again terrible quality of food too , got a spice bag was 99% mushed chips , pork chowman was missing , the one we got was slop n all veg no pork , disgusted to be honest 0 stars if possible , this place used to be good has fell off the last year n became consistently bad 👎

17/12/2024: I made an order on the 4th of July, rang them every week to follow up as they just don't communicate and I was told my item was out of stock so in my last conversation with the dreadful customer service I asked to cancel my order. I got my item from a decent provider. NOW I HAVE BEEN CHARGED BY NISBETS FOR THAT AMOUNT!!!! 166 QUID!!!! THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!! AND I DIDN'T EVEN HAD AN EMAIL to say the item was being dispatched or anything at all. THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED!!! WT???!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!
26/09/2024: I wish I had seen these reviews before placing my order (a gift). In common with other reviewers, no notification was issued that my order was in process. When I contacted them after one week, I was advised that it was on back order in the UK with a lead time of two weeks. Three weeks later, I contacted them again to eventually request a refund as the occasion for which the gift was ordered had long since passed. My email was acknowledged but no explanation given or apology received. This seems to be a standard issue if the scant reaction of customer service is anything to go by. Shop around!

20/10/2024: Got a delivery for three people. The food was horrible it took an hour and a half to arrive, got a dinner box, and didn't even get a chicken breast, got chicken and it was disgusting chips were horrible wouldn't recommend. Definitely won't order from here again

19/12/2024: Ate in the Castletroy location this evening...the waitress was very nice and that's where the good experience started and ended. Food was mediocre at best. Chips brought out 25 mins before our main dishes. The chicken was tough. I unfortunately needed to use the ladies toilet before we left and had I gone in before we ordered I'd have left. It's filthy. We waited around 40 minutes for our meal , one other couple seated but already eating, no phone orders coming in, no idea what the delay was.
Will most certainly not be back.
