28/08/2025: First time in Waterford for long time! Not sure if this App works Properly i went to The Old Ground Bar today (Thursday) And it was Closed!!!! It didnt look like it was Open in a long time! So was just looking for a cold Beer but CLOSED!

20/04/2025: We went in here as group of 7 adults and 2 children on a Sunday.
Excellent place. Service was excellent, food was lovely. Had to be nearly rolled out the door I was that full.

10/07/2024: Low-quality food for the price, unfriendly atmosphere, didn't feel very hygienic, disappointed with this place, would not recommend since there are so many places that are actually friendly and delicious to eat/drink in Kilkenny.

20/01/2025: Decided to visit following a recommendation from family and this was easily the best meal of our trip. The wife had the salmon and I had the lamb tomahawk. Unfortunately, although the lamb was cooked perfectly, the veg that came with the dish had a lot of water at the bottom which is my only complaint.
I will add that the staff were fantastic providing some of the best service we have received in a long time.
We will visit again when we are next in the area!

Great food and reasonably priced.
My husband and I both had the turkey and ham dinner, large portions
very tasty.
Staff pleasant and friendly.
Will definitely return when in the area.
