04/10/2024: Went there today one of my friends sandwich had a hair in it we returned it no body apologised or even offered her anything else. She didn't pay for the lunch as she wasn't charged we all paid and left the premises we were followed out by a very rude member of staff and asked to pay for the tea our friend had plus €1 for an extra filling in an omelette which was a complete oversight. We are all seniors and were treated terribly by that member of staff. Won't be back

19/05/2025: I visited here as a family of 2 adults & 2 children . My bill was 75 euro. There were no starters included and the 2 adults drank tap water only, and one fizzy drink each for the kids. The price of the rice and chips is added on afterwards so if you don't see the line at the bottom of the menu stating that, they are not included ( which I didn't until we went to pay) the price of your meal goes up by 4 euro per meal. Both rice and chips are 4 euro each so it doesn't make sense not to include them as I don't know who orders a Chinese dish without rice, chips or noodles. So in my case the chicken curry went from being 16.90 to 20.90. This should be pointed out to the customer when they are ordering it's a very sneaky way of raising their bill! The kids chicken nuggets are 9.90. Again very pricey for a plate of chips and unappetising looking nuggets. I've gotten lovely quality chicken goujons on kids menus before for less than this price! When we arrived in the place was empty we were the only sitting customers so maybe this should have being a red flag when it was a beautiful Sunday evening at 7.pm and you'd imagine it would be a bit busier with people having a meal before they went home for the evening. On a positive note my chicken curry tasted nice. I won't be visiting here again and unfortunately I won't recommend this place to anyone.

19/01/2025: The food was fine until I almost choked on a piece of something like a wire. My friend also had chicken that was a little raw. The girl who served us however was lovely and the prices are decent too.

23/04/2025: Great fresh food, friendly service, excellent coffee. The shop layout is very unusual for a cafe/retail outlet. Seating on tall stools for maybe 8 people other, lower height tables, used to merchandise and display goods for sale. We were in Gearoidins for 25 minutes during which time 12 tourists (4 couples & 1 family of 4) came in, looked for a seat, none to be found and left without buying anything. I can only think that the business aims more for the takeaway trade (including what appeared to be excellent full roasts dinners) than in cafe diners. Well worth a visit (if you can find a seat)

01/03/2025: The food was absolutely fantastic. We could not fault the menu. It catered for everyone. The service was unbelievable. The girls were really friendly and helpful. Rachel made sure that we were looked after from the minute that we came in. I would definitely recommend booking in here if you are staying here or even if you are in Ennis for a night.

18/01/2025: Only one toilet (outdoor) was available for the entire service station and Burger King served the meanest Whopper ever, beef pattie and little else.

11/04/2025: Lovely food, great value, attentive staff. Will return. Had pizzas and lasagne with desserts. Cosy restaurant with kooky art.

18/09/2024: E' un self service e in orario di punta si forma una certa fila ma piuttosto scorrevole e veloce. Io ho preso lo stufato di agnello e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative perchè saporito e morbidissimo. Non all'altezza delle aspettative invece la "mitica" torta di mele. Prezzo abbastanza adeguato al tipo di ristorante.

25/05/2024: This is a fairly large restaurant catering to tourists, but has good food reasonably priced. I had a salmon and spinach quiche with salad, that filled me up for the rest of the day. Good value.
