15/02/2025: I ordered a takeaway as I have done before. I ordered a kebab that was nice. the king prawn was yellow milk with 5 prawns. The jalfrezi wasn’t much better . And mixed grill sizzler was awful The mushroom rice was the best thing in the whole meal
22/01/2025: Excellent samosas to start. Everyone had a different main, the dhansak and beef madras were winners, but all were very happy with their choices. The tarka dhal was also good; creamy and delicious. One member of our group compared the food to an expensive Indian restaurant he eats in regularly and declared this was better. Will return.

The Courtyard Café

22/08/2023: Waited over 20 minutes to get a simple take away americano. Staff were completely overwhelmed and there was no visible management presence. The cafe was messy, very cramped and not conducive to a relaxed environment. The food including the cakes did not look appealing at all to me. Overall, would not recommend the cafe.
09/08/2023: Lovely setting the staff are nice but honestly it's so incredibly expensive the food on offer is not amazing unfortunately . They don't have much prep area but I'm sure they could offer better value and better options . Definitely bring a picnic if the weather is nice the coffee is good though .

13/01/2025: Fantastic food, we got the turkey and Cajun chicken sandwiches with Salad and fries and had half of each sandwich both were Devine. Staff were extremely friendly and fantastic to see that it is a safe space for members of the LGBT community.
11/01/2025: Randomly happened on this place whilst staying locally for the wkd. Main search function was gluten free. Completely exceeded expectations. Staff well trained in allergens, no drama, felt like a normal customer. And the food was the nicest I've had out in a long time. Hot beef open sandwich on porridge brown bread gf with vegan cheese....!! Was just raging I'd no room for the gf df chocolate cake! Highly recommended!

04/01/2024: Once a much-loved local restaurant now, with a change of premises, a much loved takeaway with friendly, obliging staff and good food with a few delicious Malaysian dishes.

15/03/2025: I got a Chinese last Sunday and found a short dark hair in my veg, I called back the restaurant to tell them and the girl was quiet rude on the phone. This is a pity because we always use this Chinese as we only live 5 minutes away but we will not be returning.
