The best restaurants

03/10/2024: Got raw uncooked chicken when I went down with evedance the owner she raised her voice saying it was cooked after two mins befor hand after looking at it at frist and agreed its wasnt.she started shouting because we asked for a refund she gave us a part refund won't be returning wouldn't recommend this place at all stay away !!!!

19/08/2024: Changed hands recently and it's just not the same. The food has gone down a couple of clicks

18/10/2024: Went for lunch break on my own. Ordered Singapore noodles with chicken. Got Singapore noodles with some form of bouncy, chewy white meat. The noodles weren't good. The meat was absolutely vile. Paid over 16 euro for a plate of crap and a bottle of sparkling water. The water was about the only thing that didn't make me feel sick. Never again.

10/09/2024: We were the first ones there at lunch time. The door mat was filthy and the table was sticky. The menu covers a wide range of choice. The food is freshly prepared but I did not expect that, as a consequence, I would get my starter half-way through the main course.

02/01/2025: Had two meals mine was brutal rice completely over cooked cold chips and chicken was substandard my partner had fish and chips. Chips cold as well and more batter than fish Completely unsatisfactory spoke with staff and wasted my time.

31/10/2024: I was looking forward to finding a new local eatery but would not return for food. Service was decent, and the atmosphere was ok. Starters...vegetable soup was ok, garlic mushrooms were breaded mushrooms with a garlic mayo, loaded chicken nachos were mainly the broken bits from the end of a bag of nachos but the chicken coupons were tasty. For mains, the chicken wings and chips were not good. The wings were tough and lathered in sauce to try to disguise it. The chips were not as described. Again, the special buttermilk chicken tenders were bland and the chips not triple cooked. The chicken goujons for the caesar Salad were very nice, but the caesar dressing was lacking flavour, and the bacon was very fatty. I hate giving a bad review to a local business, but I honestly think that if The Hideout reduced the number of dishes on its menu and focused on quality of the smaller menu, it would offer better food. And finally, I could not believe there were cameras in the bathrooms. Above the urinals in the men's bathroom and over the sink pointing at the stalls in the ladies. The attached photo is from a stall in the ladies with the door open.

14/12/2024: The chips were absolutely superb the whole chippy was well lit with perfect lighting and the staff working were delightful. the perfect place to go to quench that chippy itch.
