The best restaurants

25/08/2026: Best pub in town. Ask for Noirín, she will look after you. She will tell you about the best sights to see and places to go. We only had crisps and roasted nuts so can't comment on the food, tho she did offer us some white bread for a Tayto sandwich 😋 An excellent pint of Guinness 🎉

24/06/2026: place has gone down hill. needs a renovation. loose wall tiles held on with sticky tape. got chips that were cooked ages ago. watched the owner clean around the food prep area with a dirty old cloth and he used the same 1 on the floor and then without washing his hands he took by hand my sausages and burger out of the freezer. very unhygienic practice in 2026. i asked for ketchup and they squurted some into a small bag. used to be a nice shop but not anymore.

18/04/2025: Après la visite de Lough Gur et du cercle de pierres la fin nous taraudant nous nous sommes arrêtés à ce bar resto. bien nous en a pris; petite salle cosi, menu de pub classique et "specials du jour". Service rapide, assiettes super copieuse, nous en avons eu pour notre argent.

17/04/2025: Nunca decepciona. Comida y servicio excelentes El personal es agradable y servicial Nos gusta la India y comer regularmente, pero hemos escuchado al personal explicar el menú a otros. Muy recomendable

Finally, the report outlined that the takeaway showed evidence of people living on the premises. "We observed mattresses, bedding materials, personal hygiene items e.g. toothbrushes, tubes of toothpaste, bottles of shampoo and shower gel, hair products and hair brushes in this area. We also noted medications, clothing and personal food items in this area."

25/08/2025: What a busy place - which is an indication of good food - was told that my order would take 15 minutes. In my opinion I was not disappointed the food was hot and very tasty. I can highly recommend for quality food.
