The best restaurants

12/10/2025: My friends and I came across an Síbín on a night in Lough rea recently. 'Ollie Rocks' was playing that night and he playing everything!! People were up jiving including the owner Cathal. Emma, Cathal and staff are very friendly and engaging providing a lovely atmosphere with lots of craic. We'll be back!

09/10/2025: I popped into sibin while in Loughrea, the service was unbelievable and staff were great, bar woman Ella very chatty very friendly , amazing experience

29/09/2024: Delighted with the fabulous chocolate biscuit cake Ted made for my husband's 60th birthday party whose a big Smiths fan, it added to the whole occasion and tasted delicious also.

20/10/2024: Great traditional Irish Pub, good beer and company

02/11/2025: All food premade and reheated. The sausages looked microwaved and were not eaten.

17/11/2024: Very dissatisfied and disappointed as they always take the need to have a break like it’s an ice cream parlour why do you need breaks ?

12/10/2024: Very disappointed. I come to this area quite often & found this particular truck which I would have been a regular at HAD I NOT BEEN OVERCHARGED!! I ordered 4 small ice creams which were advertised for €3.50 each - which totals to €14 but the lady had the audacity to charge me €18.30.. I’ve seen some reviews about them doing this to other people, raging I didn’t look at the reviews beforehand as had my hands full & was in a hurry to get the family ice creams before heading to our destination. Won’t be coming here again anyway. You overcharged me €4.30 & lost out on a potentially regular customer which would have been worth more than €4.30!!

26/04/2025: Great place to stop off after the Saturday parkrun beside the fairies too 🧚 Best ever bacon bap and cuppa highly recommend shame it’s 2 hours from home. almost forgot the bench is heated!!

06/04/2025: the overall service is great and have lovley workers but i come every couple days and get my order relitavley fast. in recent times ive come on sundays and the qeues are abnauctios leading down past the ice cream shop having only 2 people to handle such lines isnt fair. I advise to hire more people or have more staff on sundays in particular to the weather as many people will be coming in.
