22/07/2026: As a coeliac who gets so anxious eating out, the staff were so kind after asking for reassurance regarding their gluten free bread. It’s really really good! The food was incredible and the view was beautiful. Thanks for a lovely evening.

17/07/2026: Who knew? Can't fathom why I have not discovered this gem before now. We arrived for a play in the Community Hall and stumbled on Monk's Lane. They were happy we only wanted a small bite in the heat and short time we had. Super starters, all to be recommended. The cappuccino was lovely too. Check out the beer garden, it has the most fabulous flower garden and nooks and crannies to enjoy.🌻 We plan to return for the full experience! 😋

09/08/2026: We visited on Thursday with our three young kids. We sat outside the back in a lovely area. We were so impressed with the quality of service from the young waitress we had…the best service we have had in years. Our food was really quick which is a major advantage with young kids. The quality was amazing. So tasty. We loved it so much I sent my folks the following night and they had an equally brilliant experience!

06/08/2026: Well-stocked health food store with organic vegetables, dairy, bakery products, and dry goods, of which a surprising amount is from the Netherlands. Friendly and helpful staff.

05/08/2026: Couldn't recommend this place enough. I have been buying a certain supplement from them for a while as I can't get it anywhere else. Recently, there was a small issue with my order that was sent (not Organico's fault), and I emailed them; that day, they sent me a replacement. There is also always a little note in the package with a tea bag. It's such a lovely touch and why I love supporting local businesses. They are so helpful and kind. I will be buying from them for years to come.

25/06/2026: One of the best fish and chips I've had with great seating and a beautiful view. Staff are friendly and the desserts are incredible

15/06/2026: We had coffee and cake one day, and dinner the following day here. Service was fantastic and the food was great.

30/06/2026: Stopped to get coffee. Great atmosphere and selection with very friendly staff! I didn’t get any food, so I cannot comment on that aspect.

29/06/2026: The Aran Latte (w coconut milk) was incredible! My boyfriend got the pistachio latte and it was also amazing. All the baked goods are homemade and delish - we tried the Collector Muffin which that day was a blueberry yogurt muffin

10/05/2026: Had lunch in Copper Grove today Sunday having booked it last night. I specifically requested a table for two in the bar . On arrival a "manager"( not Donal or the othe lovely gentleman who has been there since it opened ) hadn't seen before pointed to a table on the righthand side of the entrance.Every few mins when door opened a cold draught reached our table . I was really cold waiting for our food. When I pointed this out to this gentleman he offered us a table in the function room even though there were a number of empty tables in the bar. I've always booked the bar as it is much cosier and my husband likes to watch the sport on the television. Arrogance is not a word I use freely but he appears to be practised in it. P.S. A lovely pleasant young lady served us and I'm sorry I did not leave a tip as I always do. Just so annoyed.

02/08/2026: Absolutely do not recommend. All reviews I've seen are from the old restaurant - Roastie, which was excellent. Lumi is new, and the menu looked promising, but we were extremely disappointed. The food is quite poor quality. The steak I ordered was inedible - gristly and had a visible slab of fat & vessels in the centre. Advertised as prime Irish steak (rib eye) but seemed like a cheaper, inferior product. For clarification, and in response to the reply, there was 3/4 of the 'steak' left on the plate, inedible. By that point, I ate the sides and what little of the meat that I could find. Service needs to improve as well, sides for my main were delivered before starters arrived & overall inattentive during our visit. More training needed possibly. To add insult to injury, we were overcharged for drinks/ had 5 items added to the bill that were not ordered. Staff didn't seem apologetic, or shocked. Absolutely check your bill carefully before paying. Overall disappointing experience & won't be returning.

20/07/2026: This is exactly what you imagine an Irish bar to be like: you listen to Irish music while enjoying a chilled cider or Guinness, with a different singer performing each time, accompanied by various instruments. Simply a must-visit.

05/08/2026: The Time Travellers Bookshop is a wonderful little café. Nicki is excellent at the helm, providing great service & tasty vegan food. I really enjoy going to this café, I can sip delicious coffee, relax and browse wonderful books in a charming atmosphere - what’s not to love!

18/07/2026: I stopped in here the last evening not expecting much but was very surprised by the quality of the food. The burgers are freshly made not from frozen. Quality ingredients and the chips are delicious too. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff and a huge menu to choose from but not overwhelming. Highly recommend visiting here if visiting Skib.

25/07/2026: Food is beautiful great portions great choice of food. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. The only down side is they could cater a bit more for kids gluten free otherwise would highly recommend

19/07/2026: I ordered an Irish breakfast and it was fantastic. But everything else they serve is great too. It's an incredibly beautiful and tasteful café where you can really feel at ease. The service is super nice, friendly, and attentive.

13/07/2026: Its a small cafe just opposite to the waterfront. So a nice location with diverse menu. Also they had a lot of begetarian and vegan option and you can even request to make any dish vegan/vegetarian. Only thing is they dont make fresh food after 15:00, so you have to choose from premade stuff.

08/06/2026: Lovely little place in the centre of Kinsale. Brilliant sirloin, excellent scallops (with the surf and turf), nice wine selection by glass or bottle, fabulous frites, and the service is op-notch. Recommended, especially as a special occasion dinner.

26/05/2026: Great small restaurant. No reservation, but very accommodating for the two of us. Steaks were great, desert a serious - WOW! Very pleasant waitstaff. Busy so we waited - but we like busy, we know it’s good!
