30/11/2024: Simply not enough stars to award to this champion of wine bars, sublime, fun and such amazing staff who clearly enjoyed their work - just fantastic

21/11/2024: We got so lucky to find Black Pig in Kinsale. We arrived in town after a long drive in the off-season and didn’t have reservations for dinner. We “found” Black Pig and luckily they had 2 seats at the bar. This is an exceptional dining experience. Its warm embrace comes from the ambiance of the intimate rooms and the welcoming staff. Veal carpaccio was a special of the night; it melted in our mouths. Monkfish bites and liver pate were to die for!!! It has a local, neighborhood vibe…many patrons knew each other which adds to the hospitality of the place. We’ll be back. ☘️

14/11/2024: Loved this little place! So much character, I loved the history and the cozy atmosphere. Felt great to get in out of the cold. The food was excellent. We're vegetarians and Fergus and his staff made a wonderful meal - couscous stuffed aubergine with many delicious sides and veggies, and we had spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli, again with delicious sides. We also had the soup of the day, piping hot vegetables with fresh breads.

17/11/2024: Stopped in late November, they must have just put the Christmas decorations up, arrived with no booking on a busy enough Sunday evening and the hostess at the front desk went out of her way to find the best seats for us upstairs. Menu had loads of options and everything that came out was the kind of food that you'd hope it would be. Just really solid, well cooked gastro food that looked great on the plate. Every course was delicious and the staff were really helpful and attentive. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Skibreen

28/10/2024: The burgers at this restaurant were the best we've ever had. The potato and sweet potato chips were also delicious. Living in East Cork, we wondered how we hadn’t discovered this gem sooner—but then remembered that every time we called, they were fully booked. Advanced booking is highly recommended. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

25/10/2024: I loved everything! Capitata per caso, di passaggio abbiamo voluto provare il pollo , l’ho amato , saporito, non secco, salsa fenomenale e i contorni non da meno. Insieme al pollo davano la possibilità di scegliere due contorni e abbiamo preso purè e patate dolci, tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo finito con una torta tre strati al cioccolato con gelato, anche questa buonissima. Prima volta che lascio una recensione così , non so che dire, solo andate e provarlo! Staff gentile e cordiale , sicuramente tornerò <3

29/11/2024: I recently made an online purchase from Organico and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The website was easy to navigate and I found exactly what I was looking for quickly. They had a great selection of organic and natural products, including some unique items I hadn't seen before. The checkout process was smooth and secure, and my order arrived promptly and in perfect condition. The items were carefully packaged, and they even included a handwritten thank-you note including a nice tea sample, which was a lovely touch. I'm so impressed with Organico's commitment to quality products and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be shopping with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for healthy and sustainable options. I look forward to making an in person purchase in Bantry !

13/11/2024: Organico is an excellent healthfood shop and online business. I have been a customer since January 2022 and get my monthly orders from them. I get all my wheatgrain and ryegrain in bulk from them as I bake my own sourdough bread. (I have a mill for grinding my own flour.) They are an extremely friendly, helpful and reliable business. The carriage costs are very low and free over Euro 100. Also - they are so fast with sending their orders out - very impressive! I can recommend them 100%.

05/12/2024: We had an absolutely delicious meal in Ferrit and Lee tonight. Great choice on the menu, lovely hot food, very friendly staff. We would highly recommend and will be back.

23/11/2024: I has the pleasure of having a meal in this beautiful establishment recently and it was delicious. As I am coeliac I was catered for very well, most dishes if not all were adaptable. Lovely atmosphere and great servers. Warm. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

24/11/2024: My lady and I eat breakfast and lunch here very regularly. Top class food always. They change some menu items regularly, presumably to control costs, as there is no logic to purchasing stock that isn't as popular as other items. Nevertheless, the products stocked are of the highest standard and from very reputable suppliers. I don't believe I have ever ordered anything that I haven't finished, and I consider myself an amateur foodie, albeit with almost 50 years of experience. It's a shame that they find themselves unable or perhaps not find it commercially viable to have their premises operate an evening trade. Without doubt my favourite diner in Cobh. We just need an evening venue now as social life in Cobh is at an all time low. Some excellent pubs but not enough of them. Anthony & Donna.... And let's not even mention the lack of transport to return home.

10/11/2024: Had breakfast here yesterday. I enjoyed my breakfast ciabatta so much I didn't notice that I spilt relish down my jumper. Wife pointed it out later and I smiled as I reminisced about the breakfast. Id recommend.

11/12/2024: Copper Grove is our go-to spot for work lunches, and they never disappoint. We had our Christmas lunch there today, and as always, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff are a pleasure to deal with every time. Highly recommend!

15/10/2024: Scannell's is an absolute gem. Wide choice of really tasty, well prepared food, friendly efficient staff. The place is really well run. I highly recommend and no doubt they will see me yet again.

06/09/2024: Cracking wee pub and a lovely pint of Guinness. I met a really nice American chap that's lived in Clon for a number of years, his name was Daryl. If you ever see this, it was a pleasure meeting you. I'm the biker from Derry :)

27/10/2024: Our favourite place to eat when in Midleton. It doesn't matter what you order because everything is fantastic. Make sure you go hungry and go for the 3 courses, you don't want to miss anything 😉 fantastic staff as always and the owner is the perfect host.

26/10/2024: I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner does alll the things - cooks, brings out food, talks to patrons - and you can tell he cares about his food and the people who eat here. Tons of celiac safe GF options all marked on the menu. I had the chicken shawarma. No joke - this was my top five favorite restaurant dishes of all time. Flavor was outstanding and food came out hot. Highly recommend something Middle-Eastern, as it’s clear that is their “home cooking.” Truly wonderful food and experience.
