13/04/2025: Fantástica comida, servicio y experiencia. Ambos teníamos lo mismo: Aperitivos - Almendras ahumadas; Entrantes - Barbacoa Gambas tigre; Mains - Pollo asado Para los lados tenía las papas fritas triples cocinadas mientras que mi esposa tenía col de york glaseada. Lo único que no disfruté fueron sorprendentemente las papas fritas. Nada de enamorarse, chuparse o morderlos. No estoy seguro si estaban triplemente cocidas o el aceite estaba malo, quizás las patatas eran pobres pero eran mediocres en el mejor de los casos. Hago mejores chips en casa. No teníamos desiertos pero sí vino. Medido con precisión, sin duda, ya que es Dublín, pero siempre soy un poco jovial cuando pido una copa y te dan el poco extra. El ambiente era precioso, el ambiente era genial y el servicio era perfecto.

05/04/2025: La comida estaba bien, pero caro. Las bebidas eran buenas, al igual que la selección. El servicio (tres camareros de equipo) no tenía ni idea y tardaba demasiado en despejar la mesa, traer el menú de postres o entregar el cheque. Habría sido muy fácil salir sin pagar. No puedo recomendar el restaurante y no volvería.

23/02/2025: Great spot. Had lunch here recently & it was delicious. Staff are most helpful and efficient. Fire was lighting on a cold winters day creating a cosy atmosphere. Love the decor. Highly recommend.

11/04/2025: We loved our time at Grattan Bar! We walked the distance from our hotel because of the great reviews on food and service. Let me tell you, they’re right! Our server was so kind and attentive- making sure that dietary requests were understood and met. The atmosphere was perfect and the lager was spot on. The fish and chips were delicious. High recommendation from this visitor!!

27/03/2025: We booked a table for late in the evening but wandered in alot earlier due to a need for sustenance! Warmly welcomed and seated at the bar as our table was not yet available and picked a epic red wine from the excellent list. The casual atmosphere and staff were great and we devoured the fantastic plates including prawns, pate and crocettes. This was the highlight of our time in Kinsale. We will be back.

16/03/2025: Shabby dim lit place long wait at the bar being hustled for drinks. They have 3 dinner sittings per evening !! One tiny croquette entree was 15 euro. There was no lobster in it !! Beef brisket was way too salty a black charred wide edge. Since we were asked how it was, i said it was salty but waitress said i should have said earlier. .. .. tiny serve of fish pie. We'd just received our wine and were asked if we wanted some more ! Our vegetables came in sharing bowl for the table. Since we weren't with family it was not good. Celeriac gratin and tart tatin was just ok. Was not impressed by 240 eu bill. Thanks to waitress from Mulcahy suggestion, our evening before at no. 35 restaurant was absolutely fantastic food, service and very very comfortable. Thanks to waitress from Mulcahy suggestion we go there.

01/04/2025: We live locally in Blackrock and absolutely love Riba restaurant. We've been dining here almost weekly for the past two years. As a meat lover who usually AVOIDS vegetarian dishes, it's saying something that Riba is the only restaurant where I consistently chose a vegetarian option for both my starter and main course. The risotto starter is amazing, and the Mushroom Panzerotti ravioli with truffle cream, shiitake mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, rocket, and Parmesan is delicious (adding chips and garlic aioli on the side makes the meal even better). The staff are always super friendly and welcoming.

31/03/2025: Riba is a local restaurant with a wide variety menu on offer. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and attentive. It has a family run feel, making it warm and welcoming.

01/04/2025: Jockeys was recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. The food was absolutely superb and will be returning next time I'm in town.

07/04/2025: We were looking for a place to eat on a Friday evening (which is a challenge without a reservation) and they had one last open spot! Such a lucky find because the food was AMAZING! Compliments to the chef!! Delicious salmon, chicken & mussels. Nice cozy atmosphere

29/03/2025: Stopped here for breakfast whilst doing the Innishowen peninsula loop. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Super homely, welcoming & had a little stove lit. The breakfast was lovely, best fry I've had in a while. Everything was warm & to top it off the tea was nice. Would totally recommend stopping for breakfast if you are passing by.

24/03/2025: Good food, solid irish breakfast the normal and the vegan version (the sausages in that one are actually really nice). Atmosphere is really nice as well with a good location and some parking around. What lets it down is the service, its a little bit slow and doesn't pay attention. Observing the cleaning of 3 servers that morning was painful as well.
