11/01/2026: Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. They really go above and beyond for their customers and it shows. We stopped by while it was raining out for a bit of food before our train and was greeted with nothing but kindness. We had the wings and soup, and they also prepared a toastie on request. 10/10 would recommend.

05/01/2026: The place is nice, the food is homemade, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The worst thing is that the owner is quite intrusive; he talks a lot and takes too many liberties, in my opinion. The lady, however, is very friendly.

I kicked off with huge juicy oysters, followed by scampi that was golden, crisp, and downright addictive. The back sole? Melt-in-your-mouth magic. And fair play to the staff—Natalie had the whole thing running like clockwork, no fuss, just good vibes. €96 well spent, no regrets. If you’re in Kinsale and not eating here, you’re missing a trick.

Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh ingredients and real care. Customer service was just as impressive. The team was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. A special mention has to go to Richard, whose warmth and enthusiasm made our experience even more memorable. 11/01/2026: Amazing food. A very attentive service. Great recommendations. The lamb was divine. The prawn risotto was delicious. The goat cheese salad … nothing was wrong. Will be coming back for sure!

21/12/2025: Daniel’s where to begin, one of the best culinary experiences to be had in Dublin and probably on the island of Ireland. Myself a food lover and regular restaurant dweller. I would call this place rare, As, in no matter what you order off the menu here, it will be excellent. Plenty on the menu to pick from far from bare bones here. The place itself very understated but has a cool old school vibe clean and well kept but is very quirky under closer examination. Wine lovers this is the place for you his pairing of wine to foods is nothing short of exceptional. You won’t find a better wine menu in Dublin. Overall Danial is a master craftsman in both food and wine and no mystery here it immediately becomes apparent from the get go, simple starters like the broth hits the tongue and it’s complex and superior. Nothing is an after thought here every ingredient and element have been very well thought out here years in the making. If I could give 100 stars I would. We ll be back and on a regular basis.

23/11/2025: Vendricks Restaurant, as usual, was absolutely superb. The decor inside the restaurant is top-class — very elegant and beautifully designed, and the festive Christmas decorations added a really warm, inviting touch that really enhanced our experience. The menu offers some lovely options, and I ordered the stuffed mushroom with goat’s cheese, which couldn’t have been any nicer. The presentation of the food was just amazing. My brother ordered the beef burger, and he said his meal was also 10/10. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a really good meal in Killarney. You certainly won’t be disappointed, and I definitely hope to return again soon.

06/01/2026: Wife and I visited Ireland for her 40th birthday. One of our stays was at Dromoland Castle. Super nice place, great staff, beautiful scenery. I went out and played 9 holes on the golf course, which was a treat in itself. Highly recommend!!!

31/12/2025: EXCEPTIONAL WEDDING VENUE! Dromoland served as our romantic dream destination wedding venue. They provided exceptional service that surpassed what we could’ve received in the States. All of their recommended vendors were amazing making planning a breeze from across the pond. Our friends and family still note this as one of the best weddings they’ve been to and everyone would love to visit again soon. Absolutely the best! ❤️ Thank you so much!

01/01/2026: Had a really enjoyable chicken curry as main but I was very disappointed with the creme brulee as it was served on a large plate as a set custard. No caramelised top. I've had it before & I always look forward to it. I was going to make a point about it when we went to pay but we just got our bill & weren't asked if we were happy with the food or service.
