20/08/2026: There aren't many restaurants in the area, so we were all the more surprised when we walked in. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good selection of food and drinks. The food we ordered was excellent, the coffee was very good – we were completely satisfied. The price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect!

26/08/2026: We keep coming back to Bang since it reopened, and for good reason! The food is consistently exceptional, and the atmosphere is always vibrant. Special mention to Carmel, who is such a fantastic, attentive host. Looking forward to our reservation this weekend—a must-visit restaurant in Dublin.

16/08/2026: We had a great lunch at the Blind Piper. Catch of the day was hake and delicious as were the wings. Guinness stew was best dish. Service very good too

18/07/2026: We stumbled upon the last restaurant on the main street, and what a pleasant surprise! The dishes were delicious and very reasonably priced – we had a wonderful meal!

15/06/2026: Vendrick’s is an awesome spot!! Welcoming & chill vibe, friendly & attentive service (Thank You Angie & Emma), wonderful wine list, and a delicious menu. Everything is masterfully prepared, but our favorite bites are their Irish Cheese Board, and their Prawns Pil Pil

22/08/2026: Michelle and Gavin and the entire kind staff got on board with our “Orange” themed 60th party we wanted that the table flowers were orange and in abundance, the dishes had orange nasturtiums decorating the plates, the desert was orange posset. There were even loose oranges on the table - talk about going above and beyond. I left it to the professionals and boy did they deliver. Food was incredible, the staff were so helpful and kind too. We had the best night, the birthday girl felt special. If ever you are planning a special night- it was like an event planner took over and relieved me of the stress of organizing. Thankyou Michelle. 22/07/2026: As a coeliac who gets so anxious eating out, the staff were so kind after asking for reassurance regarding their gluten free bread. It’s really really good! The food was incredible and the view was beautiful. Thanks for a lovely evening.

22/08/2026: Having dinner at Daniel's was a very pleasant and tastefull experience. From the starters till the dessert with fried ice cream. Daniel's is a very passionated chef and he made us discover his long hours cooked receipes with love ! The Lobster is rich and excellent. We will come back ! Thanks

17/08/2026: Those comments are real. After reading the comments, we booked immediately and Daniel delivered it successfully. we tried many highly rated restaurants in Dublin and so far we found majority of them overrated or we werent fully satisfied by the value. But Daniel is definitely undervalued. it is a gem. we are so glad we live nearby. if i talk about the food, we were craving seafood, mostly shellfish. we tried crab salad, crayfish cocktail, scallops and prawns. all of them tasted so nice. so fresh. so flavourful. That deep and rich marine smell and taste. And all of them crowned with an amazing French wine that Daniel recommended. The atmosphere at first looks very modest. But as Daniel talks to you, you understand how much effort he puts it into every detail. I truly appreciate the food and service we received on a very regular Sunday evening, that made it a special.

18/08/2026: Great food. Highly recommend. You can taste the level of thought and effort that’s gone in to creating the flavour combinations that make up each dish. The fried monkfish appetiser was especially delicious. The goats cheek was a real surprise hot and the dumplings were the star of the show. Great service and food. Looking forward to another visit

23/08/2026: We’ve eaten there twice over the past month and the food is excellent as well as the service. Seafood chowder, fish and chips and soup of the day all were delicious. There’s a car park a few blocks away which is convenient and much easier than trying to park in town.

23/08/2026: A truly excellent place. Authenticity, quality service, a warm welcome, generous and delicious dishes. Connemara mussels and fish soup. Excellent cheesecake.

06/08/2026: Visited grogans castle lounge today, ordered a pink gin tonic and a Guinness. Bill came to 18.90. We ordered another round and was charged 21.90 so I questioned it and was told it was correct. I queried it and they gave me a copy of the receipt to which I saw they charged me a bottle of sol instead of a bottle of tonic. They then gave me 2.90 in change short changing me 90cent. I live and I am from Dublin, I will not be returning! ***TOURIST BEWARE***ASK FOR A RECIEPT

09/08/2026: We visited on Thursday with our three young kids. We sat outside the back in a lovely area. We were so impressed with the quality of service from the young waitress we had…the best service we have had in years. Our food was really quick which is a major advantage with young kids. The quality was amazing. So tasty. We loved it so much I sent my folks the following night and they had an equally brilliant experience!

05/08/2026: Delicious pizzas, nice selection of craft beers, good music and friendly staff. Was really busy but got a table after a short wait. Very warm inside due to pizza over but worth it. We will be back for sure! Only negative is the light sensor in the women’s toilet is way to brief and you are in the dark and need to flail around on the toilet to get the light in again 😅
