Mamma Rosa's Pizzeria

03/11/2025: Hands down the best takeaway in the county , you can tell these guys really care about the food they are putting together and that they are using great quality ingredients not your run of the mill cheaper alternatives. Top class burgers and the best pizza ( The dough was amazing and clearly hand made ). Dont miss out stopping by if you area or just make the trip . Recommend their spicy double smash burger and the delizoza pizza. Thanks very much and we'll be back very soon.

28/09/2025: My dad hasn't been well enough to get out for food ao we bought him a takeaway carvery and pint of Guinness. The food and drink were superb. Great service and price too.
28/09/2025: Grainger's Manor Inn has always been my local, even when it was simply known as The Manor Inn. We've had quite a few celebrations here with family and friends, and the staff are always amazing and food is top notch. Plus the love entertainment when we there on the 6th was incredible. I definitely recommend going here for food and generally welcome and laid back place.

East Room at Plassey House

30/08/2025: My fiance, her family and I visited the East Room at Plassey House for her graduation yesterday. The food the service and the ambiance were all first class. Goran and the rest of the front of house staff took care of us from the second we arrived and made our evening special. Would definitely recommend.
23/08/2025: The dining room felt rundown, decor was tired, the table linen was frayed and looked well used and plastic flowers on the table.
The breads were so burnt the crusts were inedible.
The crab starter tasted nice but it contained less than half a teaspoon of crabmeat.
The Halibut main course was supposed to include mussels, but didn't.
The featherblade steak, was cooked well but the accompanying skin that should have been crispy was undercooked.
The skin-on fries arrived in an unclean, greasy wooden bowl which was very off-putting.
Dessert was described as a warm cherry cake, wasn't warm and was so small it was difficult to find.
Overall, very disappointing.

12/10/2025: Nice place, tasty, not many people, very high level service, food like from Masterchef, unusual. If you want standard food, you probably shouldn't come here. Interesting flavors.

09/10/2025: This cafe is buzzing with energy, friendly helpful service, healthy delicious food and great coffee. I went in to get a coffee for a homeless guy one day and bumped into Sinead the owner I knew from years ago we had a friendly chat and she gave me the coffee and croissant for free as I told her who it was for. Highly recommend 👍

And a very handy convenient location just off the M7 Motorway and close to Limerick City.
Good size Bar / restaurant with an upstairs, 2nd story level and a wide selection of setting and table options.
With a relatively varied menu that should suit all tastes, palettes and most dietary requirements !
With a good, friendly, helpful, outgoing, chatty staff who provided a very good, quick, speedy, effect and very satisfactory service.

03/08/2025: Had a meal here one year ago and the service was so bad it ruined my finacee birthday celebration was comvinced by the new manager to go back and they would look after us so we did tonight only to be met by terrible service again.
Left sitting at our table for 15 minutes before any member of staff came to to us and then had to ask for kids menu
Steaks oredered and 2 of the 4 were very over cooked my MR tommahawk was borderline well done sent it back along with an overcooked ribeye my finacee ordered a glass of wine that never arrived dispite numerous times of asking wont be back shame because the steak was nice the 2nd time it came out

10/08/2025: Perfect location to castlebar with lots to do around. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Room was great, just found it a bit hot as the duvets were thicker than I expected. Room service was great!

20/10/2025: Best boba tea I've ever had! Food is delicious and affordable. We left full and happy. Staff are also lovely.
EDIT: To update, several years later, i came in with my 1 year old today after a truly crap day and they moved the tables to accomodate us, dropped our food to the table (its normally self service) and gave us an extra side. They are so kind here they are always kind and helpful but today it just hit extra hard! If i could give a 2nd 5 star review i would
17/10/2025: I was in there today. I don’t know if it’s because I’m from Vancouver where we have an amazing assortment of Asian cuisine but the food here doesn’t taste very Korean. The flavour profile falls more like Chinese food. I had the set menu so I got to try three side dishes and all just taste more Chinese than Korean. I appreciate the generous serving though.

29/08/2025: Visit everytime we go to navan, great pub and was only €5.30 a pint of Guinness and selected draught beers Mon-thur. Good atmosphere and bar staff are polite and helpful Adam was on and very nice bloke. Will continue to drop on when we're back in navan which will be soon. 10/10

21/09/2025: This is a cute Cafe. Mostly students so if you don't mind that crowd I would highly recommend. The staff is friendly and courteous. I really enjoyed the food. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!
05/09/2025: Great spot, theatre was perfect size for smaller audiences. There is a bar if early and waiting to meet people.
