18/09/2025: I ordered crispy golden chicken tenders. I recived 1 normal peace of chicken, one very small and tiny less then smallest part of wings. Not recommended place.

13/09/2025: 4.5/5⭐ Excellent hotel with brilliant friendly caring staff. Cong is an amazing village and a great base to get around from.
The breakfast was fantastic. Best porridge I've had and The Irish Breakfast top class.
Evening meals were superb too.
Guinness was top level.
So why only 4.5⭐.
Parking. Although, it says parking available, the reality is there are 4 spots. Best just to say, 'parking is very limited'. A few drive arounds and you can find a place.
Overall, a great stay. Good people and excellent food.

27/09/2025: Honestly, our experience yesterday at this place was a big letdown. We were so hyped to try some good Korean food while visiting Dublin, but everything we ordered was just…bad. The kimchi fried rice and bibimbap? We couldn't even force ourselves to finish them. Plus, the utensils felt super cheap. Totally disappointed and definitely not a place I’d recommend.
We weren’t expecting the food to be great but it should at least be good. But it was nothing like that 😢

12/10/2025: Paul and all the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating on our stay here . I had the fish and chips and the fish was beautiful and the chicken wings were so good 😊 the decor of the lobster pot is so homely and cosy and so much to look at with all the different pictures and ornaments. Great atmosphere too. Will definitely be back 😁

16/10/2025: We had originally booked for six, but one of our guests couldn’t make it. Despite the change, the Owner was incredibly accommodating. We dined in the hotel restaurant and had a meal for five, all different dishes and every single dish was excellent! Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I would highly recommend a visit to their restaurant but book ahead. Overall we had a great weekend on the island and the Achilles Cliff House Hotel was definitely a contributing factor.
30/09/2025: Couldn’t fault our stay in the Achill Cliff house. Bedrooms were big and spacious, beautiful views, lovely and clean. Breakfast was amazing, tried everything throughout our stay. Would recommend the smoked salmon, delicious and the portions were huge ! The hotel itself is located in a very handy spot for the Achill Golf Club, or the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

13/09/2025: Just home from a wonderful dinner in Woodfire! We were looked after by Adam the assistant manager this evening and his service was impeccable! Absolute credit to the company- he dealt with our many order changes with no bother! Food,as always, was 5 star! It's such a great local restaurant with fab food at a reasonable price!! Thanks guys!!

I was genuinely surprised – friendly and welcoming staff, top-level service, tasty food, and an outstanding cocktail menu. The atmosphere is warm and lively, making it just right for a night out with friends or a family visit with kids. Finally, a spot in Dublin that feels truly modern and inviting – highly recommended!

09/09/2025: Quiet afternoon popped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Bar lady was so nice and welcoming. We will defo be back. 100% home cooked food. Simple menu but just what we wanted.
Homemade veg soup and brown bread… so fresh
Chicken goujons wrap with sweet chilli.
Amazing value and literally 10 mins waiting.

10/10/2025: Must say this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Cork. It’s very cosy, great selection of food and the staff are very friendly. The chef brought the food out. Definitely recommend it for anyone seeking real, Italian cuisine.
