18/05/2026: The food and service as well as atmosphere are truly excellent.

05/04/2026: A brilliant establishment, food 5 star, staff very welcoming. All around great place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wait time longer than usual as it Easter Sunday but staff showed our party to comfortable seating in the lounge area whilst we waited.

10/05/2026: Mango Cafe is a hidden gem. Really authentic Thai food, packing huge flavours and at a decent price. Great service too. Would definitely recommend.

01/06/2026: Visited with a friend and unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I ordered the white fish and my friend had the prawn pasta. Both dishes lacked flavour, the fish was bland even after adding salt, and the pasta wasn’t al dente. The focaccia was also very oily, and we had to ask for salt and pepper. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, we weren’t given any choice of table. The only highlight was the outdoor area overlooking the sea and the friendly staff member who welcomed us to the garden. We’d return for drinks outside on a nice day, but not for the food. I don’t recommend it at all!

05/05/2026: A wonderful experience at the Hard Rock Café in Dublin. Spending an evening with the live band is a must if you're visiting the city. They offer a variety of sandwiches and meats. A wide selection of cocktails. Prices are a bit higher than other places in the area, but the music is worth a visit at least once!

10/06/2026: No more stars until you 1. Clean the toilets 2. Clear the cobwebs off the lights. 3. Re shelve below the service area behind the bar. Really, you can do better.

06/06/2026: Popped in for a drink en route to the airport. The guiness was absolute perfection! Friendly locals too in there. We enjoyed our drinks stop.

28/10/2025: Tucano restaurant in Dublin is a true celebration of Brazilian gastronomy in the heart of Ireland. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is impeccable, and the food… simply wonderful! Authentic flavors, well-seasoned and served with care. Each dish brings a little piece of Brazil and a dose of good nostalgia. The prices are fair and reflect the quality of what is offered. Just one detail: the musical selection could be more diverse. Playing sertanejo universitário all the time doesn't represent the richness of Brazilian music — which ranges from samba to MPB, from forró to bossa nova. This is a suggestion to make the experience even more complete and unforgettable.

27/10/2025: First time trying Brazilian food in Dublin and it was such a pleasant surprise; warm, welcoming atmosphere with cosy music playing in the background, filled with comforting flavours that took me straight to Brazil 🇧🇷

17/05/2026: First dinner back from the trip, very good food and even better service. I recommend any of the pizzas. Someone might say it's a bit pricey, but the quality-price ratio is perfect; you spend the same at a Telepizza and there's no comparison. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. Be mindful of the time, they close at 9:30 pm.

18/05/2026: We used the bar instead of the hotel. The fish and chips were huge! We chatted a bit among the three of us, and one or two drinks each was more than enough! It was quiet around 3 PM on a weekday, so we were grateful that we could stay without ordering too much!

03/05/2026: My first time at the bar, and it just stands out for me: friendly atmosphere, great selection of beers, and the people at the bar were friendly; made friends and conversations with the locals. Also, there was brilliant live music on the night I was there, and it has that real Irish feel to it. 🇮🇪

07/06/2026: An absolutely fantastic dining experience at Friel's of Straffan! The food was exceptional from start to finish. Without a doubt, some of the best fish and chips and the best Rib Eye steak we've had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and you could tell that each dish was prepared with genuine care and attention to detail. The portions were generous and satisfying, while the prices offered excellent value for the quality of food served. The restaurant itself was spotless, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit, making us feel genuinely welcome. We were also impressed by the great selection of pints and drinks available. A huge compliment to the entire team for delivering such a high standard of food and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! 😊

31/05/2026: Everytime i went here with family or friends the food was immaculate the service was excellent and the staff are very kind and promoting with everything, Busy spot on long weekends and a sunday so be sure to book if you aren't sure on seating, Has a beautiful outside area for the summertime and lovely indoor lounge are which stretches from one end of the pub to the other, you could easily just have a quiet pint alone in the bar or have a family dinner there's great menu choices also with fantastic selection, one of my personal favourite spots to pull into. When it comes to off road diner's this is one of the best in Kildare by far in my opinion.
